My first book “The Perpetual Foreigner” was non-fiction, a memoir about my childhood in Romania. The second “Seoul - A Novel” is a transition between non-fiction to fiction. I still have troubles in penning down imaginary stories. I write what I know and since I was taken by my visit to Seoul a few years ago, I thought I should combine love stories with real events in Korea, England and New Zealand. This is a picture of my husband and son in front of “Pond Cottage” Essex, England, which I describe in this book.
