Hand to Mouth
I love fleshing out my feelings on paper. On paper my emotions can run to exhaustion. As a result, I’m neutral and objective. Objectivity allows me to differentiate between what is actually happening versus how I perceive it’s happening. Writing everything down gives a bird’s eye view. Where I can make corrections, annotations and plot out the next move.
Words sound better coming from my hand, because my hand is steady. My pen is anchored by heavy emotion where my voice may be strained or absent under the weight.
One of the main reasons I’m in love with writing.

Who Needs a Book Publishing House
I’ve got my own inventory in a stockroom aka my trunk.
Black Woman With Locs
I went looking online for nudes of Black women with locs. I wanted to draw them to practice technique. I also wanted a point of reference as I start to consider what I want on the cover of my next book, which is a poetry book about sex. I didn’t find any useful art photos, and when I used the word “naked” in the search I got porn. So I’m going to start collecting beautiful nudes here that I love.
