Regarding the End Note in Plaidypus.

The timeline I listed in Plaidypus is correct

Lucifer is the Lord of Lies, and him (and his minions) cut their teeth on lying .

If you want to know why Lucifer might lie about it, consider the lab incident with the vampire. Start doing some deductive thinking on why.

Plaidypus does happen prior to the events of Client from Hell, and Lucifer is the Lord of Lies for a reason.

I hope that offers some clarity!

Plaidypus made USA Today (#135)

I did not expect this today. I was 99.99% certain there was no chance I would make the list with this book.

But that 0.01% reminded me good things can happen to those who work hard and keep trying.

I am over the moon, but please don’t pinch me. (I’d rather not wake up right now!)

In anticipation of 99.99% chance of failure, I had penned in eternal disappointment between 2-5pm (PST.) Instead, I now have to deal with 0.01% of elation partnered with disbelief and a heft side dish of “w...

A clarification regarding my previous post.

Hey, folks.

Just to make it clear, the previous post regarding the conclusion of the Magical Romantic Comedy (with a body count) series has zero relevance or bearing on any other series I’m working on. If the series name does not start with “Magical Romantic Comedy” or “Magically Hellish comedy” or an “Otterly Magical Comedy” it is not being discussed regarding being completed.

But since I’m here, here’s the current to-do list.

Mag Rom Coms (to be concluded, see this post for more detai...

Upcoming books, general updates, etc, etc, etc.

Hey, folks. (I swear, one day the cats will get off their lazy rumps and do some work around this place, but in the meantime, you get a very tired me.)

It has come to my attention that my birthday falls on a Tuesday next year. This means the mythical double release rule is invoked. Doggone Mess had already been selected as next year’s birthday book… but as it’s on a Tuesday, you’re also getting The Vampire of Montana: an Agents of the Royal States Novel.

You’re welcome.

Now with the goo...

The Magical Romantic Comedy Series Bundle #1 in a Single Volume

For those of you who prefer to read your books in a single e-book file, I have gotten the first series bundle prepared. You can check it out here. It has all of the covers in the file for your enjoyment, and it uses the Playing with Fire cover to help give a visual indication it’s the first bundle.

I will do the other bundles as I get time. I ran out of go-go juice. (Plus I have a migraine.) I will do a post as each of the single volume bundles are ready for those who have been waiting for an...

Magical Romantic Comedy (with a body count) Bundles!

Hey, folks.

After a rather stressful (and entertaining-for-the-cats) sort of day, I have figured out how to solve my bundling issues! I have gotten payhip for direct sales to work. As such, there are now book bundles of the Mag Rom Com series available with a $1 discount per book. Currently, the bundles are of individual books, but I am working on single volume collections for those who want to read bundles in one nice, neat, and tidy file.

Here are the details, as found on the series page...

Let’s Talk about the Economics of the Upcoming Price Changes. (Plus Links.)

Before I begin, I apologize for forgetting to include the link for Moon Tamed. You can preorder the book at the following retailers: Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Kobo | Apple Books.

Next week, I will be raising the price of that preorder on retailers to account for the extra staff I need to hire to pivot, yet again, for Amazon’s policies.

Amazon’s policies are ultimately to blame. They expect literal perfection out of a book. I currently have one professional editor and sixteen proofreaders. ...

Important: Upcoming Price Changes.

First, Plaidypus will not have its price changed until someone submits errors through Amazon’s tool.

Initially, I was going to wait until January 1, 2023 to implement the price change from $5.99 to $6.99. Thanks to people reporting errors to Amazon, I have changed my mind. As Amazon insists on forcing me to spend time on their schedule, people who use the retailers rather than my patreon will end up carrying the burden of the price for additional work, having to interrupt my schedule, etc.

Plaidypus has released!

After a close encounter of the hotspot kind, Nadine’s paws are full figuring out how to feed her thirsty vampire of a brother, trying to convince the CDC she actually can be a shapeshifter infected with the lycanthropy virus, and dodging the pack of crazy women out for her blood—or her brother’s body.

She’s not sure if they want her or her brother, but she doesn’t want to find out.Nadine knows one thing for certain: her backwater town is too small for everybody coming to pay her family of...

I went to Yosemite!

Yosemite has been a bucket list item for a very, very long time, and my husband let me make a tent cabin reservation for before my birthday. It was an ADVENTURE!

Weather forecast: high in the 70s, lows in the 40s.

Reality: (see picture)

Yes, that is snow! That is the Upper Yosemite Falls in the background. While it was snowing.

Reality: High of 40s, lows in the low 20s.

I loved it. The husband was not impressed with the temperature, but he also had a good time.

So now that ...
