Flash Fiction: First/Last Date

Wandering the Phoenix Art Museum one evening, I saw a couple
seated in front of an art installation. I didn’t know their names, I didn’t
know what had brought them to the museum that night. But together with the
fixture in front of them, an idea came to life.

Give Me The Bad News

I'm sure we've all heard the saying "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

I tend to disagree with that statement.

When it comes right down to it, omission can be more harmful than telling someone where they've gone wrong. If someone's driving was going to kill someone, would you purse your lips and stand by silent as they slammed into another car or a cement median?
