#SixWordStory
The Six Word Story was inspired by Ernest Hemingway. Can you write a Six Word Story?
Here are some examples I found on the internet:
For sale: baby shoes, never worn.
Our bedroom: Two voices. I knock.
Cancel my funeral, Dad. I'm back.
It's all over: Surgery; Chemotherapy; Life.
Hated kids. Met preschooler. Future mother.
First date, awkward smiles, rewarding kiss.
Let's have some fun:
If you wish to participate write your Six Word Story in the comments below.

RISE OF THE NEPHILIM -FIRE AND BLOOD
Soon they will all be dead. And it will be
because I have failed them.
Before she was Nephilim, a progeny of the
Fallen, she was just a girl from Brewster, New
York.
A freak of nature.
The strange.
The different.
The other.
But then she received the calling to find her
true home and take her rightful place in the
subterranean world of Babylon.
There she would learn that she was the last
hope for the survival of Humanity. And she
would be forced to choose between the world
where she found nothing but pain and
rejection, and the world where she was
accepted and revered.

#IWSG
It's time for another month of Insecure Writer's Support Group. Thanks to Alex J. Cavanugh for tackling this amazing project. And a shout-out to his helpers. This month Alex's wonderful co-hosts are
Chemist Ken, Suzanne Sapseed, and Shannon Lawrence!
If you're an aspiring writer I highly recommend joining this group. Add your name to the list HERE.
This August I will be celebrating 2 years since my first book was published with a small press. Since then I've had 3 books published and I still feel new to the publishing world.
I new zilch about publishing and have learned loads, and still learn something new everyday. I can't stress enough to new writer's to get involved with amazing groups such as the IWSG.
This month I'm concentrating on perseverance and tenacity. Especially for struggling writer's, which I still consider myself as one of those struggling writers.
With all the new technology it's a great era for writer's. You don't have to grab that prodigious agent to get your stories out to the world. But I suggest you find an excellent editor and critique partners to lead you on the right path.
With that said and written I hope everyone has a productive month!

Prah & Constantine Review: Share the Moon
It's time for the Prah & Constantine Review for March!
This month Nana & I choose
Share the Moon by Sharon Struth
I must say, I'm enamored with this cover...mmmm....nice....
BLURB:Sometimes trust is the toughest lesson to learn.
Sophie Shaw is days away from signing a contract that will fulfill her dream of owning a vineyard. For her, it’s a chance to restart her life and put past tragedies to rest. But Duncan Jamieson’s counter offer blows hers out to sea.Duncan still finds Sophie as appealing as he had during boyhood vacations to the lake. Older and wiser now, he has his own reasons for wanting the land. His offer, however, hinges on a zoning change approval.Bribery rumors threaten the deal and make Sophie wary of Duncan, yet she cannot deny his appeal. When her journalistic research uncovers a Jamieson family secret, trust becomes the hardest lesson for them both.
AMAZON: http://www.amazon.com/Share-Moon-Blue-Lake-ebook/dp/B00L3IKWTW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425210550&sr=8-1&keywords=share+the+moon
My Review: If you've read any of my reviews, then you know I ask you to read the blurb. I dislike repeating the excellent storyline that authors write to entice us to read their books.
The author, Sharon Struth grabbed me---hook, line, and sinker from the beginning. I loved Ms. Struth's sweet romance, mixed with a hint of mystery. Romance is not dead after the age of forty, and Ms. Struth relays that message loud and clear.
Sophie, the main character is appealing right off the bat. And what can I say about Duncan, except he floats my boat.
Share the Moon has family tragedy, conundrums, misunderstandings, and bouts of mistrust.
As a reporter, Sophie inspires to unearth the truth about Duncan Jamieson, even though the truth can hurt. She didn't expect to fall head over heels for the man who's practically stealing the property she's coveted for many years.
I refuse to say more, since I'm afraid of giving away spoilers. If you're searching for a good romantic book that'll leave you with a sweet taste in your mouth, then look no further, read Share the Moon.
Now let's head over to read Nana Prah's review!

Half a goal reached. 1 book published in 2015. Can I get 2 published?
1st Goal : I should have the 2nd draft to my ms completed by the end of this weekend, and then off to a proficient editing service, Wild Things Editing and Kim Graff. I'd like my ms to be in tip-top shape, and until I become a prolific and typo free writer, I admit, I need help.
2nd Goal : I have 2 wip in the works. And I'm waffling on what to tackle next. However, I'm setting a goal today to have at least another 5k to 10k completed by March 31. (I'll let you know how that pans out)
3rd Goal: To have my ms, the sequel to Tallas to my publisher.
WHAT ARE YOU CELEBRATING? AND DO YOU HAVE GOALS?

Lori L. MacLaughlin traces her love of fantasy adventure to Tolkien and Terry Brooks, finding The Lord of the Rings and The Sword of Shannara particularly inspirational. She's been writing stories in her head since she was old enough to run wild through the forests on the farm on which she grew up.She has been many things over the years – tree climber, dairy farmer, clothing salesperson, kids' shoe fitter, retail manager, medical transcriptionist, journalist, private pilot, traveler, wife and mother, Red Sox and New York Giants fan, muscle car enthusiast and NASCAR fan, and a lover of all things Scottish and Irish. When she's not writing (or working), she can be found curled up somewhere dreaming up more story ideas, taking long walks in the countryside, or spending time with her kids. She lives with her family in northern Vermont.

Let's talk about the subzero weather in Buffalo, New York. It's warmer in Alaska than it is here. I read in Julie Flander's book, Polar Night, about White Fog in Alaska. And guess what, I it looked exactly like she described last night. Eerie!
I've been having an unusually nice week with my books. Amazingly, I had 3 books ranking on Amazon at the same time! And the UK has discovered them. If any of my blogger friends are from the UK, I thank you!!!
I plan on eating Lobster Ravioli at one of my favorite restaurants this weekend. My Birthday night with my family is always a Godsend!
Have a great weekend!
