Cover Reveal of my NA Novel (Never) Again!!!
Today is the day! The official cover reveal for (Never)Again to be published by (Berkley) Penguin on October 15th, 2013. I am so excited! This is a dream for me and most days I can't believe it has actually become my reality.
Now for the moment I've been waiting for. But I can't just show you the cover. There needs to be a little build up. First the blurb:
Just when she had finally moved on…
…He moved back.
When
college freshman Liz Wagner hears her ex's voice for the first time
since he moved clear across the freaking country, she does what any
respectable girl would do: Dive into the girls' bathroom.
Zach
Roberts—the Zach Roberts—is back. And he’s everywhere Liz
looks—infiltrating her friend group, buddy-buddy with her brother. It’s
enough to ruin college altogether. But what choice does she have but to
put on a happy face and pretend he didn't leave her vulnerable and alone
in a pile of emotional wreckage?
Pretending works, until tragedy
strikes and the only person available for comfort is the one person she
wants to stay away from. When Zach turns out not to be the jerk she
convinced herself he was, but the boy she used to love, Liz needs to
decide whether to open her heart again to the boy who tore it out.
Cover time:
Available for preorder on Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
Add it to your TBR list on Goodreads.
Theresa Paolo lives in the same town she grew up in
on Long Island, NY with her boyfriend and Milton, their big eyed goldfish. She
has a hard time accepting the fact she’s nearing thirty which is why she writes
New Adult and Young Adult books, reliving the best and worst years of her life
through her characters. She put her love of writing on hold while she received
her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Dowling College. On November 11th
2011 at 11:11 she made a wish. Two hours later she was laid off. Jobless for
the first time since she was sixteen she was determined to make her wish come
true. Writing became her life again and after many nights of ignoring her
boyfriend to spend time with her characters, she finally received the call that
all her hard work, finger crossing and eye crossing paid off. She signed with
Berkley (Penguin) and her debut novel, (NEVER) AGAIN, a NA romance, will be out
in Fall 2013. When she’s not writing,
she’s behind a camera or can be found in the blogosphere or on Twitter, Pinterest
and Facebook.
What do you guys think??

Cassie Mae's Blog Tour Top 3 NA's
Big THANK YOU to Theresa for letting me hang out.
Of course! You're always welcome here. Now let's get started! I'm super excited to talk about our top three favorite New Adult novels. Since it's your blog tour I'll let you start us off.
New Adult has exploded the publishing industry. *KABLAMO!*
I’m a fan of many, and it was extremely hard to pick a top
three, but here they are!
My Top Three New Adult Reads (so far, haha!)
Strength by Carrie Butler

Seriously… this was AH-MAZ-ING. And I want more NA books
like this. Fantasy elements, romance, witty writing, laugh-out-loud moments,
and a killer MC voice. And yanno, that super cute book boyfriend. Wallace
(drool).
This is on my TBR list! And that guy on the cover. Gorgeous!
My first pick is: Easy by Tammara Webber

I have one word for you: Lucas. I loved him. He was hot, sweet, mysterious and also super protective. Yet he wasn't protective in a controlling, creepy way like so many of the guys in books lately. He was protective in a way that you could respect and admire. The chemistry between him and Jacqueline practically jumped off the page and it had me reading into the late hours.
Back to you Cassie. What's your next choice?
Never Again by Theresa Paolo
(That's me! Oh come on now. *blushes*)
I may
be biased, but I don’t think so. I read this book before I really knew Theresa.
This story made me cling onto her as a critique partner and make her promise to
never let me go. (Haha, punny, but you have to read the book to get that inside
joke.)
It’s on preorder too. Oh look, here’s the link for it :)
And Theresa, stop blushing and rolling your eyes. You know
you’re awesome.
(Not really. But you know what is awesome? I 'm going to give you a sneak peek of my cover before the official reveal!)

Isn't it pretty?
Now I swear this is a coincidence! My second pick is:
Friday Night Alibi by the awesome Cassie Mae!
Cassie Mae has a knack for
developing characters who have you wanting to climb into the pages and
become part of their world. Kelli is full of spunk and everything you
want in a female lead. And Chase . . . well, he’s mine, ladies. Sorry,
but I saw him first. (Honest, I really did) Friday Night Alibi is fearlessly hilarious and will
have you hanging on to every word until the very end. Then you’ll want
to flip right back to the beginning and start all over. You definitely
will want to put this at the top of your to-be-read pile.

Cassie your third pick is???
Three Sides to a Circle by Jolene Perry and Janna Watts

This book was everything. Made me laugh and cry and do them
both at the same time. It was about FRIENDSHIP, and gosh, I love a story about
friends. Plus, one of the girl’s name is Honor, and that’s one of the best
names I’ve read in a long time.
And the guy is so adorkable, I want to reach in the book and
squeeze him :)
Just added it to my TBR list :)Now onto my number three. I actually was up in the air about my number three until I just finished reading it, no joke, ten minutes ago.
Pick #3 True by Erin McCarthy

There was so much emotion in this book and each time it took me by surprise. Just when you think things can't get any worse Erin McCarthy proves you wrong. My heart broke for Tyler and his situation and not just him either, for his family and what they were dealing with. Rory was quiet at times when I had wished she would've spoken up, but that only made her character more realistic. And even though I wanted to reach into the pages and shake her, I got it because I was her once.
So there are our top three NA’s!
This was so much fun! Almost as fun as you reading to me on our 22 hour car ride from Minnesota to New York :) And now we want to know what are your top three fave NA books?
Oh! And don’t forget to check out my debut NA, FRIDAY NIGHT
ALIBI ;)
http://www.randomhouse.com/book/231683/friday-night-alibi-by-cassie-mae
Trust me, you don't want to miss this one!

Cassie Mae is a nerd to the core from Utah, who likes to
write about other nerds who find love. She’s the author of the Amazon
Bestseller REASONS I FELL FOR THE FUNNY FAT FRIEND, and is the debut author for
the Random House FLIRT line with her New Adult novels FRIDAY NIGHT ALIBI and SWITCHED. She
also has a three book deal with Swoon Romance Publishing, including her book
HOW TO DATE A NERD. She spends time with her angel children and perfect husband
who fan her and feed her grapes while she clacks away on the keyboard. Then she
wakes up from that dream world and manages to get a few words on the computer
while the house explodes around her. When she’s not writing, she’s spending
time with the youth in her community as a volleyball and basketball coach, or
searching the house desperately for chocolate.

Happy Thursday!
I'm over at Falling For Fiction today, stop by and say hi!
This summer has been pretty darn busy and I apologize for my lack of posts here. By the second week in August I will be done with bridal showers, bachelorette weekends, birthdays and copy edits so hopefully I can get back on track. Being busy is nice, but at the same time I miss the blog world, I miss reading, I miss spending my entire Saturday writing. I'm really looking forward to my lazy nights where I curl up on the couch with a good book.
Also just want to let you guys know I have a cover for (Never) Again!!!!! And the unofficial reveal will be here when Cassie Mae stops by to talk about her fave NA books on July 31! Then I'll be revealing it again on FFF on August 2nd and then some very awesome people will be posting it on their blogs between August 5-6. If you'd like to join in on the reveal on either of those days, just leave a comment with your email address and I will send you all the info! Can't wait for you guys to see it :) You can checkout the blurb on Goodreads. (Thanks Debra for making me realize I forgot to post that!)
Enough about me. What's going on with all of you? Has the summer thrown anyone else off their usual schedule? What have you been up to?

I've been so busy this past week. I went on a road trip with Cassie Mae and got to meet so many wonderful people. I haven't had so much fun in I can't even tell you how long. I'll post all about it soon. Pictures will definitely be included.
In (NEVER) AGAIN news, I got my cover, and will hopefully be able to reveal it soon. And! I'm on Goodreads! Holy crap! I'm so excited. If you want to check it out, and you know, maybe add me to your TBR list, that would be AWESOME! You can do that by clicking here.
What has everyone been up to?

Better Late than Never!
I went to BEA over a month ago and I'm finally getting a chance to tell you all about it. Walking into the Javits Center was like walking into my parent's living room on Christmas morning. I couldn't stop smiling. Then the greatest thing happened.
My mom told me we had to go check in and get our passes but I saw the Penguin Truck and since I had just recently signed with Berkley (Penguin) I needed to go over. It was right outside the doors shining in all its orange glory.
As I walked up to the truck I turned to my mom in total fangirl mode.
"Holy crap, Mom. That's Sarah Dessen!"
"How do you know? Are you sure?"
"Yes!"
Though I did check her name tag before I opened my mouth because my mom had me all paranoid. lol And I was right. Even though I already knew I was. I asked if she'd take a picture with me because lets face it, I'm a loser. Can I just say she couldn't have been nicer.
As we posed for the picture my mom decides to tell Sarah Dessen and
Colleen Lindsay! (who works with Berkley and who I told, I knew her from Twitter because I'm sure
she hadn't heard that a thousand times. *palm to forehead*) that I just
signed with Penguin. Sarah Dessen told me how great Penguin is and congratulations and then I totally babbled and told her she's one of the reasons I write and I've read all her books and she's amazing. Yes. Yes I did. Told you. Totally fangirled it. And I am not ashamed.
Afterwards I turned to my mom and told her we could leave. Nothing could top that. We laughed, both fangirled it and then went and got our name badges. With our badges came a bag full of books. Before we even walked in the door we had free books! Granted it was $50 a ticket but still that first bag paid for itself.
In the end I came home with 26 free books and an audio book!
The first row of books are all signed!! And a few below that. Jamie McGuire, Sylvia Day, Cora Cormack. Jessica Sorenson are just a few.

Yes! That is me and Jim Carrey!
I cannot wait for next year! I had so much fun! However, me and my mom decided we need a game plan, since we were basically a bunch of chickens with our heads cut off.
I fangirled a lot, but nothing topped the moment after I got home and tweeted my picture with Sarah Dessen and I got this response:
Definitely in the top five best moments ever!
I still smile when I see that tweet! Have you been to BEA? Do you plan on going next year?
