Synopsis
Alexia Sloane is the twenty-six year old owner of the highly successful Louisiana coffee shop/bakery, Java and Sweeties. The past couple of years have been all she’s dreamed of and her business takes all of her focus, all of her heart.
Jude Delecroix is the lead singer of one of the most famous rock bands in the country, Bayou Stix, and the man who broke Lexi’s heart.
Lexi and Jude have a past.
When Jude comes back to town eight years after leaving to fulfill his lifelong dream of being a famous musician and comes face to face with Lexi, forces collide, old hurts are brought to the surface, and life as these two have been living it will never be the same.
There are two sides to every story, and what happens when the things you believed to be concrete suddenly crumble like ash and fade away?
What happens when two people afraid to face the past, become involved in the present? Can they hope for a future?
Welcome to Louisiana where humidity and passion are high and things are not always what they seem.
***Contains graphic sex and language. Not for young readers.***

Excerpt
I forget everyone but the two of us. I thrust my cock that’s now rock hard against her and breathe just against her lips. There’s barely an inch of space between our faces.
We’re so close, I can feel her breathing get faster and smell her minty toothpaste.
Leaning in to close the distance, I scrape my teeth along her jaw, just behind her ear. She gasps and my cock gets even harder. I lick the shell of her ear and her hands grab my shoulders. She moans.
Trailing my tongue against her jaw line, I find her mouth and sweep my tongue inside.
Her hands find my hair and my hands drop to her hips, pulling her into me. I’m so turned on, I start thrusting against her as her tongue spars with mine, and her hands run through my hair, grabbing handfuls and holding on.
We are so consumed with each other; we forget where we are, until someone clears their throat and breaks our trance.
I raise my head and turn to look towards the sound. Her breathing is rapid and her hard nipples are pressing against my chest through the fabric of her dress.
My eyes meet the blue of Erik’s and I realize what I’ve just done. I’ve almost fucked her against a wall, in the hallway of my concert.

Bound and Unbroken: Snippet 1 #WeWriWa #SnippetSunday
I’m finally back to doing snippets!! This is from my WIP, Bound and Unbroken (BDSM Romance).
Lena tried to take a deep breath without drawing attention to herself, but despite her better judgment, he was getting to her, and she was egging him on. After the bartender delivered her drink and promised to intervene if Rusty got out of hand, they were left alone at the corner of the bar.
“What’s wrong with letting a guy buy you a drink?” he asked, setting his hazel eyes on her again.
She mentally kicked herself in the stomach and forced her gaze down to her drink, taking a slow drink before looking up again. “That’s fine if the drink is where said ‘guy’ wants things to end.”
“You think I’d hold one drink over your head?”
“Maybe two or three, but I don’t intend to let the trend get started.”
“What if I’m not that kind of guy?”

Putting Titles to Projects #ROW80
This is my second #ROW80 report. If you haven’t heard of it, you can find all of the information on their blog. Basically you set your writing goal and check in twice a week to check in with an update.
What am I working on?
Book 1: Beyond the Divide (Paranormal, Urban Fantasy) 9959 words
Book 2: Bound and Unbroken (BDSM Romance) 24761 words
November Goals
Writing
Average Words per day: 2,908 (Not far from my goal of 3k)
Current Total for NaNoWriMo 34,897
But the biggest news of all is that I came up with a title for my romance! As you see above, I decided on Bound and Unbroken. My next goal is to get the blurbs written over the next couple of days so I can get them posted on Goodreads.
Non-Writing Goals
So far the juicing diet is going well. We both had a cheat day last Friday, and I felt miserable afterward, so juice all the way. My favorite juice has been with pineapple, kiwi, strawberry, raspberry, and banana. It’s also exciting to go into the kitchen and randomly start throwing fruits or veggies into the blender. I never know what I’ll have next. Energy has been up and Hubby and I have lost 10lbs between us in the first week.
For exercise, I don’t think I’m up to 30 minutes a day of straight exercise, but I have started with a few basics–planks, squats, and push ups. I’m increasing the reps each day and doing more walking when possible. I’m currently snowed in so cemetery walks are on hold for the foreseeable future.

My first crack at #ROW80
As I write my next two books I decided to join A Round of Words in 80 Days, and have a shot at creating some consistency and accountability.
If you haven’t heard of it, you can find all of the information on their blog. Basically you set your writing goal and check in twice a week to check in with an update.
Sunday, November 10
Are you among those who started out enthused about NaNo and immediately felt overwhelmed :raises hand: If so, you’re in GREAT COMPANY. State your SANE and RATIONAL goals and join us!
What am I working on?
Book 1: Beyond the Divide, the 2nd book in the Darkness Bound Series (Paranormal, Urban Fantasy).
Book 2: Untitled, will be my first erotic romance. I’ve been working on it here and there since summer, but this month I’m hitting it hard.
November Goals
Hmm. My goals aren’t exactly sane or rational this month, so maybe I should hide in the back of the class.
My goals for the month started with averaging 5k a day, but I’m currently averaging 3k. Which is also great. I should hit the 30k mark by the end of the day, and that would give me around 90k by the end of the month. I’m pretty groovy with that.
That means by next check in, I should have about 39k.
Non-Writing Goals
I also have some non-writing goals, that I’m going to throw in.
1. Sticking to my juicing diet So, 16oz of fresh juice twice a day.
2. Exercising at least 30 minutes a day.
