A Colorful Descent in NYC

I used a Nikon D7200 with a Sigma 17-70 lens. I set my camera to aperture priority mode, and I then manually set my aperture to 2.8, and my ISO to 1000. I took two shots, but this is the composition and angle I liked the most. In Lightroom, I changed the temperature to make the photo a little cooler, I then added some contrast, vibrance, and clarity, added some color correction, sharpened and added some noise reduction to my photo, and fixed my tone curve.

EQUIPMENT: Sony DSC-HX300 – tripod

Editing: Picasa photo editor and Photoshop Elements

Settings: ISO 80 – F/4 – shutter 1/40

I always try to use the lowest ISO possible for the least noise in my images. I used f/4 aperture so the entire band would be in focus, but not the background. However, with my camera, the background was still very crisp. So I went into Photoshop Elements to manually blur the background in attempt to de-clutter the final image. A shutter speed of 1/40 was needed for correct exposure with the other 2 settings.

Everything in Vegas is bigger and better and this room with its cheeky nearly naked woman on the wall includes a 620 square foot room and a 110 square foot terrace with a king-size bed.

One of my favorite things was texting with Rose, who is the resident Mischief-Maker. She is available at all times of the day and night as she is a “chatty text bot.” If you are hungry and you text Rose, “HUNGRY,” she will share with you what is open and even send you the menu. She can help with shopping, hotel services, business services and even alert a human to help you.

Once Rose told me, “We feed all sorts of cravings here. Tell me what you’re in the mood for: Take out, Light bites, Sit down, Buffet or Prix Fixe?” She also gave me clues about Secret Pizza. I loved going to Egg Slut, Milk and the buffet for a quick morning fix after the fitness center. My lunch at ESTIATORIO MILOS GREEK RESTAURANT was superb and my dinner at Beauty and Essex was also memorable. If you want to dine with a show, try Rose. Rabbit. Lie for an unforgettable experience.
