Fifty Shades of Green in Kyoto, Japan

I shot this photo with my favorite combo, a Nikon D810 body and Nikon 24-70 f2.8 lens. My choice of settings were ISO 200, f/4.5 no filters. The sky was overcast and it was just starting to sprinkle. My vision was to shoot the perimeter of the photo with a bit less light so as to frame the light in the center of the photo. Creating a vanishing point into the forest. I prefer to shoot it how I see it. Philosophically I am a realist and prefer the “less is more “approach. I made minimal adjustments in LightRoom to the lighting.

The photo was taken on the iphone 6s.

No photoshop or filters were used.

But because I wanted to make the clouds more visible, I slighty corrected the light areas on the photo (changed it to -0,25). Also I reduced a contrast a little bit (-0,19) in order to give the picture more

flawless effect.

That’s all ^_^
