Patrick “Patches” Kilgannon

Patrick “Patches” Kilgannon is born in 2012 shortly before the Nostradamus Effect transforms the globe. A third generation Scot, his family resides in the western suburbs of Chicago. When a friend at school is outed as a Child of Nostradamus, he sees firsthand the hostility toward those with gifts. Not knowing what happened to his classmate, Patches assumes the worst. This begins self-isolating behavior and ultimately seeks therapy for help with his anxiety.

Evelyn “Eve” Cowan

Evelyn “Eve” Carter is born in New York City in 2016. Manifesting abilities as a young age, her parents fear teachers discovering that she is a Child of Nostradamus. Too young to understand the dangers of her gifts, her mother, a therapist, encourages Eve to develop her powers in the safety of their home. As part of her chores, her father has her clean his car repair shop. It’s while working on a failed computer, Eve’s abilities to detect electromagnetic waves helps diagnose the problem. From then on, she spends much of her free time helping her father repair cars.

Ariel Davis

Airships

In 2011, travel by air set an astonishing record for most domestic and international commercial flights. The global economy has created a need for people to have easy access to hubs. In 2012, a commercial airliner falls over Italy as the Nostradamus Effect causes a drastic change in a pilot’s physiology. As the pilot dies, his carbon off-gassing mutates, producing toxic chemicals that kills the co-pilots. One-hundred and twenty-three passengers die.

Lillian Day

Lilian Day is born on March 23rd, 2003, the second child of pharmaceutical researches Philip Day and Margaret Lanshire. Due to a degenerative heart condition, she spends much of her childhood at Genesis Division. As the cost of care skyrockets, Margaret and Phillip sell their house to ensure their daughter receives medical care. Nearing bankruptcy, they are offered positions at Genesis Division, overseeing experimental pharmaceutical operations.

Computational Spheres

Created by Lewis Saunders, the original Computational Spheres were designed to be home-based personal assistants. With rudimentary functions such as scheduling appointments, answering basic questions, and setting reminders, it takes the world by storm. By 2020, an estimated 72% of homes have a stationary sphere.

Sister Dorothy Muriel

Orphaned at eight, the nuns take Dorothy Muriel in at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Manhattan, New York. Thanks to journals, her tenure at the adjacent orphanage is well documented. At age ten, her journal details a visit by an older woman believed to be Eleanor Valentine. The only notes regarding the interaction are a young girl excited by the adventure of Dorothy in the The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Soo Jung Yeong

Born in Seoul, South Korean, little is known about Soo Jung prior to her joining the resistance against the President of the United States. Alongside Needles, she recruited Children of Nostradamus to build an underground army capable of overrunning the government. It is assumed that Needles erased any information about the woman. There are no theories as to why.

Quebec City, Canada

Canada is known for its technological advances and global humanitarian efforts. Their response to the 1992 nuclear crisis in the United States of America garnered international accolades and respect from world powers. When the Heritage Party, led by Jean-Luc Baptiste, takes control in 2030, they moved Parliament, the capitol, to Quebec City.

Mark Davis

Mark Davis is born on September 13, 1967. Winning the position of class president his freshman year of highschool Davis’s interest in politics awakened. In college he majored in political sciences with the intent of of someday running for state senate. Thanks to his classmate and new bride, Elizabet, he acquires a post-grad internship at the White House. Assigned to Senior Staff as a policy research assistant, he took special interest in the government use of mentalists.
