New Releases!
I'm working on Tearing Down the Wall as you read this, even if you're reading it at 2 am. I am working round the clock to get it done and I'm so excited/sad to see this series ending. Sad because I'll miss the characters, excited because the ending is so brutally good. You'll love it, I promise. The book is going to release in June, though I haven't set a firm date yet. Hopefully early June. That's the goal.
In the meantime, a wonderful, funny, smart, gruesome friend of mine has just released book #2 in her Odium series and you all should check it out! It's a seriously great zombie read, it's crazy highly rated and it will help you pass the time until Tearing comes out.
Thank you for all the support for the Survival and Quarantined series! You guys are amazing and I love you for loving all of my characters.
Happy Reading!

Cover Reveal - Tearing Down the Wall
The final cover for Tearing is here! This will be the last book in the Survival Series so no more cliffhangers, I promise. There will be a definitive ending to the story of Joss and Ryan, and also for all of the Quarantined characters that have made cameos in this series.
You can add Tearing Down the Wall to your To Read shelf now!
Thanks so much to everyone who has been following this series! I have a love/hate feel for this final book. I'll be sad to have it end because I love each of the characters so much, but it's such an exciting part of the story, especially for Joss. And also for Ryan... :)
His arms release my hands and go to wrap around me. He’s going to pull me into an embrace, tell me everything is alright and he’ll fall asleep chastely beside me, snuggling in next to me and all my issues. It will go on night after night until infinity or we die and he’ll never say a word. He’ll never ask for more. But if I ever want the chance to let him in and watch him chase away my demons the way his laugh lights up this loft, I need to man the hell up and offer what he’ll never demand.
I push back from him before he can embrace me, my eyes finding his. He looks so worried it hurts. It almost lets me chicken out and bail on this entirely. It could be an awkward moment we both remember forever but never talk about. It could be the setting of the status quo. The beginning of our ending, riding this even plane until the end of our existence. Never more, never less.
Or it could be a beginning to everything.

Coming Soon - Knockout

If your first thought when you saw this cover was that this guy is about to box a zombie, you're a true fan and I adore you.
But no, I've decided to give it a try stepping away from Young Adult, the end of the world and all things sci-fi to write a New Adult Romance. And that story is Knockout.
Whether you're poor in the streets or rich in the hills, growing up is never easy.
Jenna and Kellen have always known exactly who they are - black sheep. Outsiders in their own lives, they found a place together somewhere between ocean view mansions and the L.A. foster system.
But as they grow into their lives and discover the roles set for them, everything changes. Boundaries are pushed, lines are blurred and when a horrible accident lands Kellen in the hospital, they'll both be forced to rethink everything they thought they knew about themselves. And each other.
*Knockout is a New Adult Romance, meaning the filter is off. Language is harsher and love scenes are slightly less... blurry than my YA books. It's no 50 Shades, but it is a little more real.
EXCERPT
Kellen quickly wrapped my other foot before standing up and surveying the gym. He glanced back at me once, his face unsure. I waved him on.
“Do what you’ve gotta do. I’m fine.”
“You’re not scared being here?”
I shook my head. “I’m never scared when I’m with you.”
He grinned faintly before looking away. “Laney has never been here. All this time and she’s never shown up. She said she doesn’t like the neighborhood. She’s worried her car will get stolen.”
“Kellen, what she said tonight-"
“Is true,” he cut me off harshly, his eyes going dark. “She’s right. I’m poor white trash, Jenna. It doesn’t matter what grades I get or college I go to. I’ll always be poor white trash.”
“Those aren’t the same thing,” I told him, getting angry.
“What isn’t?”
“Poor and trash. Those are two completely separate things and you know it. You’ve met some of Laney’s friends. Hell, you’ve met some of my parent’s friends. They’re rich as shit but some of them are straight up trash. People lying to each other, cheating on each other, stealing from each other. Money doesn’t make you a good person. If anything, it ruins you."
He continued to stare into the distance. I know he heard me but I also knew I wasn't getting through. He was gone. Detached the way he got when he the world expected too much.
“Hey, look at me,” I told him. Finally he brought his dark eyes to mine. “When you look at me, do you only see a rich girl?”
Kellen’s brow pinched. “No. Not at all.”
“Good, ‘cause when I look at you, I don’t see a poor boy. I see you. All of you. The boxer, the genius, the smartass, the know it all. You are who you are, Kel. You’re not the place you grew up in or your bank account. You’re you and I happen to think that you are pretty fucking amazing.”
He smirked and when the light of it hit his eyes, I sighed inside. “You’re pretty fucking amazing yourself.”
“I know. Now go do what you do until you feel like yourself again. I’ll wait.”
And I did. For hours. Kellen ran through his entire workout but I didn’t say a word. I sat in that chair or wandered around the gym, but I stayed close the entire time. He didn’t speak to me, he barely looked at me, but it didn’t matter. He was in his zone. In his place where the world turned blurry like the painting I’d done of him. Where it was all color and light without sound or thought. It was weightless. Instinctual and free.
