How to Pronounce BAT and BAD /bæt & bæd/- American English Pronunciation Lesson

This week’s lesson is on final consonant voicing. Voicing is what happens when your throat or voice-box vibrate to make a sound. Many ESL speakers do not use final voicing and make all final consonant sounds unvoiced. This makes D sound like T which can change your intended word meaning. Using correct voicing at the end of words not only addresses consonant sounds, but it will fix some vowel mistakes too. It is a BOGO (buy one get one free) this week!
