Yes, that was about my response when I pressed the 'Submit' button at Smashwords.
Exciting!
I'm so happy my book is available now. Words cannot describe it. This is really all I ever want to do: write. I wish the world would read my stories and I'd love to hear everyone's comments!

Raveled By You
Writing or Marketing
So the last few days I've been super busy trying to get these books off the ground. I've been contacting a few reviewers, posting away on Goodreads, and other websites, trying to snag people to read it.
Marketing is hard work! Since publication (which was 07-07-2013), I've had 360 downloads of book 1, and still only three people bought book 2. However, I'm hoping that, when the reviews are in, book 2 will run better.
I'm still having a hard time balancing between writing and marketing though, because I find myself wanting to sell my books, yet I do need to keep on writing. Sometimes I think 'what's the use? If people aren't going to read it, why bother?' Because the lack of people reading book 2 is discouraging.
Then again, I shouldn't be too hasty to draw my conclusions. I should wait a while before I say 'it's not working'. People always say, "just keep on writing, it'll eventually work out", but I have no idea how. Almost a week has passed and I've yet to see anyone looking at the Kindle book (the one on Amazon).
I wonder what I can do to improve my visibility? I feel like I'm swamped in the midst of all those other erotic romance novels and it makes it impossible for others (like me) to break through. If anyone has any tips for that matter, they're more than welcome!
Anyway, guess that's it for today ;)

Writing a new book!
I have so many projects going on right now. The Enflamed Series is still boiling and burning, am working on book three right now. At the same time I'm writing a new Series under the title "doing it" with each title getting a subtitle such as "
wild
" and "
risqué
" and stuff. The first two books are finished and I'll work on part three when part three of Enflamed is done. Phew, so much to do :P
That said, I find it hard to focus on my writings. When I've been writing one novel for so long, switching to another is difficult, because I've almost 'forgotten' how the voices would sound in my head when I write about the characters, if you know what I mean.
It's just all a bit of a climb up the mountain to get a feeling for it again.
Anyway, I'm also in the process of figuring out if and when I want to write a full novel, as in, at least 60k words. I'm still doubting whether I can or cannot, but it mostly depends on the plot I'm able to think of, and up 'till now, it isn't very big. I will ponder about it more, let it simmer a bit, maybe I will find out it's easier than I thought.
I'm also wondering whether or not it's okay for an erotic writer to publish other genres as well. I write a lot of other stuff too, but I'm afraid it might feel clunky to readers if I'd ever write something that doesn't belong in the same genre as all the other books. If you guys have any ideas about this, please do share :)

“Care for a drink?” he asked and held out one of the glasses.
“Thanks,” I said and I took it.

We raised our glasses and toasted.
“So, are you excited?” he asked.
“Yeah, of course! I can’t wait to see what Tokyo looks like.”
“Hmm, I can already imagine us walking together down the streets,” he said while closing his eyes.
“Have to do some shopping though, otherwise I’ll run out of clothes fast,” I said.
He opened his eyes again. “What? No, that’s not necessary. I’ve made some arrangements that … will probably fit your needs.” He squinted and pursed his lips, then rubbed them with his fingers.
“What do you mean? Arrangements?”
A mischievous smile appeared on his face.
“What are you not telling me?” I stood up and placed my hands on my waist.
“I don’t want to spoil the surprise.”
I sat down on his lap and put my arms around his neck. “Oh, come on, tell me.”
He rolled his eyes, sighed and laughed. “Alright. If you insist. I had my assistants organize about fifteen sets of clothing for you to wear, which will be enough for about a month. We’ll see what happens after that.”
“What?” I gaped at him. “Are you serious?”
“Yes, it is not what you wish? I can let them gather more if you like. Tell me which brand you prefer and I will have them get it for you.”
“No, no, I mean, it’s perfect!” I hugged him so tight he almost couldn’t breathe. “Thank you. I’m just baffled by all the things you can do. This is just one of them. It makes me feel like I’ve so much more to see and experience.”
He was fiddling with a flower from a bunch in a vase that was on the table next to him, but then he took one out, snapped off the large part of the stalk and tucked the remaining flower behind my ear.
“And you will. I’ll make sure of that. I’ll give you anything you desire. You’re worth it all.”
I could only smile cheesy hearing that, but it was so sweet that I just had to kiss him. I took his face between my hands and kissed him. Kaito put one of his hands on my leg and one on my back, supporting me as I sat on top of him. Our lips were locked, a smoldering flame of desire burning on the inside. I wanted to get close to him, even closer than a kiss could get me.
I sucked on his bottom lip and felt my body gravitate toward his. He eagerly took me, his tongue slipping in and out of his mouth to lick my lips. Our kiss grew more intense. His calloused fingers strayed across my back, slipping down toward my butt. His other hand slowly slithered up my leg, creating wrinkles in my short skirt as it moved up. I felt a bump rising where I sat.
He pulled his lips off mine and retreated, clearing his throat.
“I have to get to work, Chloe,” he said. He put his hands on my sides and nudged me to stand up again.
“What? Why now?”
He sighed and patted his pants to hide his partial hard-on. “I’m sorry, Chloe, but I have a busy schedule and I need to get some things done.”
Kaito leaned forward and pecked me gently on my left cheek, before skidding off through the isle. He went through a door in the back of the plane and closed it behind him, leaving me breathless.
My whole body was tensed up. He was being so sweet to me, holding my hand, giving me clothes, putting a flower in my hair. I just wanted to smother him with kisses and more. I wanted to be with him, be one with him, take him. I needed it.
And now he was working?
No, that ain’t happening.
