Intriguing Historical
Other writers have focused on the tragic Romanovs, but this time it's not Anastasia in the spotlight. Tatiana and Malama fall in love and the readers fall in love with them. Oh, yeah, this is heart wrenching romance at its best. We know it's doomed...or is it? The counterpoint of a modern day love story fraught with all its complications is well done. Paul moves back and forth tying up the ends of both stories. You almost think it could have happened and you'll wind up like me, on Wikipedia searching for these characters.

Summer Memories
Is it me or is summer loaded with memories? When I began writing Coming Home to You, I made a list of everything that makes summer special. Almost all of my memories center around a lake or the beach with friends or family. The funny thing is from what I see on my FB page, it's that way for everyone, right? Before we become caught up in marriage and family, most of us enjoy our summers--few responsibilities and lots of hopes -- before we have to get down to business. What precious times, although we may not have known it then. Music blaring songs that still echo, campfires on the beach, slices of watermelon, soft serve ice cream melting down your hand before you can finish the cone. The smell of coconut lotion, roasted marshmallows and burgers on the grill. In any of my summer stories, I try to bring those crazy summers roaring back. Because they were and still remain so special.
