Giveaway - Thank you
Thank you to everyone that entered the giveaway for Naughty Nicky and the Skullduggery Crew. With over a thousand of you entering it was quite a surprise as I never really knew what to expect. Such a worldwide audience with the ten copies flying off to all corners of our beautiful planet.

It's been a while since I wrote a blog. I was encouraged to write to keep my mind and body fresh when it came to using my thoughts and imagination. Back then though I was heading in a different direction and if I'm honest I wasn't really sure what I was writing and ended up downloading pictures and commenting on them.
It was a time when both Gail and I were setting up Pudwinks, which has now developed into more about writing and illustrating about them than the direction we were heading in at the time. We tried a couple of craft fairs to promote them but found we were in a different genre than the other stall holders.
Since then we have set up Pixiehouse Publishing which not only published Naughty Nicky and the Skullduggery Crew but also handles the distribution, marketing and promotion.
Having worked in retail most of my adult life I'm used to interacting with the public and selling to them.
This however is completely different and all new to me.
Managing PHP plus holding down a job (still in retail) leaves me with very little free time. I have so many books I want to read and so many stories I would like to write and finish.
I love writing new stories. That image you have in your head and then trying to describe it in words. I still use pen and paper and then transfer to pc. The amount of time I 'edit' myself is unbelievable.
Although writing for Pudwinks and the characters within, I love writing ideas that just come into my head.
I'm rabbiting now so I'll leave it there for now. If you've taken the time to read this then please comment, I'd love to get to know fellow authors, friends and make new acquaintances. It's a big old world out there, let's make it a little smaller.
