Excerpt of "Spellbound in His Arms"

His hand released her throat, and she sucked in a ragged breath. He remained unbearably close though, blocking every possible escape route.She heard a distinctive click, and the bright light of a chandelier filled the room.Jackie looked around her, disoriented, and finally, her eyes rested on him. He was tall, at least six inches taller than she, and at five feet eight inches, she was no shrimp. He had jet black hair and a well built muscular body any athlete would envy. His face was very handsome, with a strong jaw and the bluest eyes she had ever seen. Those eyes now searched her face intensely. Jackie felt uneasy under his piercing gaze. It was as if he could clearly see all the way to her soul.For a moment, they stared into each other’s eyes and Jackie felt her heart suspended in her chest… but not from fear this time. Even though he looked tough, she had to admit he was startlingly handsome and manly — a “seductive stranger” as Aphrodite, her romantic teenage cousin, would call him.

Another great review for "Spellbound in His Arms"

Just when you think you have a handle on it, the author throws you a curve and you are left standing with your mouth open. Saying I be damned. I enjoy this story very much, the author gave you a story that was believable, with a nice flow which took you from one mystery to another.

Jackie is investigating the death of her family, hoping to stop more deaths. She is a beautiful lady that even Michael can’t walk away from. Not even when he thinks she is up to no good and might have something to do with the deaths.

Jackie just can’t seem to keep out of trouble and of course Michael is always to the rescue. But will he always be there, can he always get her out and keep her out of trouble? Someone wants all the money, land and power. Can they find out who, and stop them before it is too late? They become a team but they never fully trust the other, will love come through or will the issues they have come between them?

You have tons of bad guys, who don’t trust anyone. Father and son against each other and so much more. This book will blow your mind with all the twist and turns the author takes you though. I feel sure you will enjoy the read, set back and enjoy the mystery of the Greek Isles.
