It was exciting reading about Ella, her brother Jerry, her sister-in-law Ginny, and Ginny’s Godfather and Police Commissioner Albert Montensford trying to solve this mysterious case. I followed every clue and enjoyed every twist.
I loved Ella. She is smart, funny, caring, and courageous. And, of course, I loved Phantom—her ghost cat. Having a ghost for a pet was another interesting twist.

- “twins” who are not blood-related and are in love with each other…

are only a few of the dark secrets that this showbiz family harbors and is trying desperately to keep away from the media while trying to find Lizzie’s killer.
An interesting twist in the story is the Book of Hours passed down from Queen Margaret Tudor, instructing the women in the family “to find love where they may”.

There are no pretensions about this book. It is what it sets out to be - a sweet story and a pleasant change from the heavier fare.. I enjoyed it.

The characters had me enthralled, worrying what was going to happen to them with the huge sense of threat permeating the story. What I enjoyed a lot was not knowing who the bad guys were for sure. It was such fun to guess, even it I hoped I was wrong at a certain point. How this panned out was a delightful surprised.

Another wonderful experience was the descriptions of the greek islands and also customs. Having greek kin, this made for an extra treat. Now I feel the need to read any more books in this series as I really don't want to let the story go.

I will be watching out for other titles by this author though as I enjoyed this book very much. It is a romance/drama/murder mystery that kept me gripped and reading throughout. But best of all it is set in Greece [as are the others in the series] on Skopelos [where I have just been this year] and Corfu [a previous favourite]. I love stories set in Greece, they seem to transport me back to places I love, and this book was no exception.

Her story lines and character development magnetized me from the beginning. An author needs to have the fantasy, the imagination to captivate the reader and the ability to be creative. Angel has it all and again deserves a huge thumbs up for another wonderful book which will continue to be an awesome read even the second or the third time. I highly recommend this book and the whole series!

I loved Brooke and her big, loving family, her friend Shelly Silvers and Shelly’s teenage daughter Mary Beth, as well as Zack and his beautiful family. The one person I couldn’t stand was Shelly’s abusive husband, Nathan Silvers.
I’m a fast reader, but I found myself taking my time with this novel, enjoying the vivid, captivating descriptions and the author’s talent to make the reader feel as if watching a movie.
Needless to say, I loved this novel, and I’m looking forward to reading more books in the Adler Family Series.
