Review of Lethal Web of Passion - An enjoyable read

4.0 out of 5 stars An enjoyable read, January 19, 2017By Robert LalondeVerified Purchase(What's this?)This review is from: Lethal Web of Passion (The Greek Isles Series Book 5) (Kindle Edition)Lethal Web Of Passion is a story of mystery, romance and murder. Eleanna Welsh inherits 50 percent of a luxury resort on the Greek island of Skopelos. The other 50 percent belongs to handsome and mysterious Stephanos Ioannou. Eleanna is not just another pretty face, she’s quick on her feet and a martial arts expert. This is the first book in Angel Sefer's Greek Isles series that I’ve read and I’m looking forward to the next. An enjoyable read.

Review of An Accidental Murder by J. New - This story had me so captivated that I read it in one sitting

5.0 out of 5 stars This story had me so captivated that I read it in one sitting, January 17, 2017By AngelVerified Purchase(What's this?)This review is from: An Accidental Murder: A Yellow Cottage Vintage Mystery Book 1 (The Yellow Cottage Vintage Mysteries) (Kindle Edition)I love a good mystery, and I enjoy ghost stories. And this novella had it all: mystery, suspense, humor, intriguing characters, and fascinating ghosts.
It was exciting reading about Ella, her brother Jerry, her sister-in-law Ginny, and Ginny’s Godfather and Police Commissioner Albert Montensford trying to solve this mysterious case. I followed every clue and enjoyed every twist.
I loved Ella. She is smart, funny, caring, and courageous. And, of course, I loved Phantom—her ghost cat. Having a ghost for a pet was another interesting twist.

Review of Dynasty of Deceit by Sarah Stuart - An engaging romantic thriller filled with dark secrets and twists

4.0 out of 5 stars An engaging romantic thriller filled with dark secrets and twists, January 15, 2017By AngelVerified Purchase(What's this?)This review is from: Dynasty of Deceit: A Showbiz Family Saga (Royal Command Book 3) (Kindle Edition)Even though I started this trilogy by reading the third book, it didn’t matter as the story stands alone.
Dynasty of Deceit is an engaging whodunit that starts with a cold-blooded murder, followed by a family’s struggle to come to terms with the death of Lizzie Marsh—the wife of superstar Michael Marsh.
- An incestuous relationship…
- “twins” who are not blood-related and are in love with each other…
and
- the murder of a kidnapper…
are only a few of the dark secrets that this showbiz family harbors and is trying desperately to keep away from the media while trying to find Lizzie’s killer.
An interesting twist in the story is the Book of Hours passed down from Queen Margaret Tudor, instructing the women in the family “to find love where they may”.

A Sweet and Simple Romance

4.0 out of 5 stars A Sweet and Simple Romance, November 3, 2016By ReaVerified Purchase(What's this?)This review is from: Whispers in the Wind (The Alluring Love Collection Book 1) (Kindle Edition)This was a sweet, gentle romance set in the idyllic locale of the beautiful Greek Islands. Our heroine, Emily, has been blackmailed by her College roommate, Natasha and Natasha's mother, into impersonating Natasha and traveling to the Greek Islands to visit Natasha's dying and wealthy but estranged grandmother.
Things get complicated for Emily when she meets and falls in love with Natasha's cousin, Andreas.
There are no pretensions about this book. It is what it sets out to be - a sweet story and a pleasant change from the heavier fare.. I enjoyed it.

Great Read

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Read., December 19, 2016By Book LoverThis review is from: Lethal Web of Passion (The Greek Isles Series Book 5) (Kindle Edition)This was a thrilling read and I was sorry when it was over. The characters had me enthralled, worrying what was going to happen to them with the huge sense of threat permeating the story. What I enjoyed a lot was not knowing who the bad guys were for sure. It was such fun to guess, even it I hoped I was wrong at a certain point. How this panned out was a delightful surprised.

Another wonderful experience was the descriptions of the greek islands and also customs. Having greek kin, this made for an extra treat. Now I feel the need to read any more books in this series as I really don't want to let the story go.

Great Greek read

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Greek read, 11 Oct. 2016By MayMoggieVerified Purchase(What is this?)This review is from: Lethal Web of Passion (The Greek Isles Series Book 5) (Kindle Edition)Although I started reading this author in the middle of a series, it didn't actually matter [won't be the first or last time I do that with an author] as the story stands alone anyway. I will be watching out for other titles by this author though as I enjoyed this book very much. It is a romance/drama/murder mystery that kept me gripped and reading throughout. But best of all it is set in Greece [as are the others in the series] on Skopelos [where I have just been this year] and Corfu [a previous favourite]. I love stories set in Greece, they seem to transport me back to places I love, and this book was no exception.

Captivating, Magnetizing, Wonderful!

5.0 out of 5 stars Captivating, Magnetizing, Wonderful!, September 5, 2016By Finding best booksThis review is from: Lethal Web of Passion (The Greek Isles Series) (Volume 5) (Paperback)Î am a true fan of Angel Sefer. Her story lines and character development magnetized me from the beginning. An author needs to have the fantasy, the imagination to captivate the reader and the ability to be creative. Angel has it all and again deserves a huge thumbs up for another wonderful book which will continue to be an awesome read even the second or the third time. I highly recommend this book and the whole series!

Review of Bad Case of Lovin' You by Anita Louise - A heartwarming, engaging story

5.0 out of 5 stars A heartwarming, engaging story, December 15, 2016By AngelVerified Purchase(What's this?)This review is from: Bad Case of Lovin' You: Brooke & Zack ~ The Adlers Book 2 (Kindle Edition)Brooke Adler is a lovely and generous school teacher who meets deliciously sexy Dr. Zachary Carter. Brooke and Zack feel an intense attraction for each other. However, they have both been through disastrous relationships and have wounds to heal.
Bad Case of Lovin’ You is a heartwarming, engaging story, filled with an intriguing cast of characters. I loved Brooke and her big, loving family, her friend Shelly Silvers and Shelly’s teenage daughter Mary Beth, as well as Zack and his beautiful family. The one person I couldn’t stand was Shelly’s abusive husband, Nathan Silvers.
I’m a fast reader, but I found myself taking my time with this novel, enjoying the vivid, captivating descriptions and the author’s talent to make the reader feel as if watching a movie.
Needless to say, I loved this novel, and I’m looking forward to reading more books in the Adler Family Series.
