Do You Have Creative Passion - But Not The Business Stuff?
For the artists, inspired creatives, authors, healers, and spiritual teachers, I would bet you have creative passion in spades.
But maybe all of the numbers, data, and tech-y stuff of your business is causing you to struggle or get discouraged?
Business stuff doesn't have to be scary or intimidating.
Most authors and solopreneurs focus on their passion (yes!) but forget about the important business stuff (craaaaap) until it's too late. Or only when they have an uncomfortable meeting with their tax professional or financial advisor (gulp).

How Are You Connecting To Your Truth?

I love quotes, and there are a lot of them that speak to me about various phases of life, main themes, and different life lessons. That's true for all of us, right? But this one caught my soul's attention because it reinfornces that Divine theme of truth that is showing up in various parts of my life right now, and maybe yours, too.
In every area of my world, I am hearing that special little whisper inside asking, "What is your truth about this situation/person/idea? Are you connecting to that truth? Are you living from it?"
I used to kinda-sorta know the whisper was there and acknowledge it when my stomach started to turn abruptly or I couldn't find clarity about something. I was in a regular state of go-go-go and wanted to be doing what was convenient and known and planned.
But now I've regularly been allowing that truth whisper to step right up to the microphone and blare out its message as a soloist. Turning a truth whisper into a truth speakerphone is quite an incredible thing! (And I can tell you this much - it makes going to the grocery store a much longer trip because apparently Cheetos are no longer connected to my personal truth.)
With that whisper-to-speakerphone change, a new world view has taken shape around me: relationships, events, lessons and priorities all look different. Now there's so much more focus on what I love to do, and what I want to create, and new dreams to discover, and the fabulous internal chanting of "I can do that, oh yes I can." My inspiration is through the roof and barrelling ahead at top speed! If only there were 26 or 27 hours in the day!
But wait. That just puts me back on a fast-track and go-go-go. That isn't what I want. That isn't my full truth nor my full intention.
And that brings me to the other reason why this quote grabbed my soul's attention:
The Sun and the Moon represent balance and honoring the cycles of life.
The natural ebb and flow of energy in motion. The need for both action and stillness. Truth is only one out of "three things that cannot be hidden long." The Sun and the Moon must be allowed to shine equally as well. Movement and rest, action and contemplation, walk and sit.
When I combine these acts of balance with my connection to truth, the rewards are ten-fold and beyond. My intuition is more focused and accurate; my body feels stronger and more relaxed; my mind is clearer and calmer. Truth is more present and prominent. The balance is natural and easy. The Sun and the Moon keep Truth moving along perfectly.
So when I see the shining Sun in all its splendor, and then glimpse the beautiful Moon in all its glowing glory, I know between the two there is a Divine place for Truth to stand. And I want to be standing in that place of balance and living from it.
May this resonate with a truth for you right now, and affirm that you can trust what feels right in big ways.

YOUR SOUL STORY IS HUMANITY'S STORY
Your current life is only a fraction of the energies you have experienced as a soul.
When viewed from higher consciousness, you open up to the fullness of your soul story and a broader understanding about who you are as a soul, as well as the energies you are experiencing in this incarnation.
You as a soul are composed of many stories, and through your life, the energies of those stories are activated with the intention of guiding you to higher levels of consciousness.
Surely somewhere along your path you have asked yourself:
"Why has my life unfolded in this way? Why do I experience certain themes, or repeating patterns, or ongoing relationship dynamics and lessons? Why are some emotions bigger for me, and yet not as prevalent for other people? Why do I carry specific dominant needs that other people in my family do not relate to?"
For example, if you have experienced a theme of betrayal or abandonment in your life, where did that energy begin? If you have felt deep fears around your emotional expression, how did that originate for you as a soul? If you have found yourself locked into many ego battles with others, what is being triggered within you that can be released now?
Or perhaps you have noticed a theme in your life around lower female or masculine relationships that you wish to inject greater consciousness into because you want more authentic connections with other people. Whatever energies and themes may be prevalent for you, you will find greater understanding to them in healing your soul imprints.
