Trusting The Darkness and Blind Path

I recently moved through, and completed, a very tough spiritual lesson with a famous "spiritual" author and expert. This woman obsessively targeted me and my work for 6 years, with the intention of damaging my professional reputation, and this episode is how I did not allow her to take me down.

I share this story with the intention of supporting more people to understand this archetype of Shadow Female energy and to find greater strength in your path as you proceed ahead, knowing that astrology always has your back and supports exactly what you're here to heal and clear.

Energy Wins. Stay Open.

One of the messages I share regularly - and proudly! - is that you shouldn't force yourself to "feel" a certain way under the guise of "being spiritual." The whole "love, light and bliss" thing is a facade that quickly fades because it dismisses the complexities that make up the spiritual journey.

We are riding waves of amazing evolution right now, and it gets bumpy. It can be challenging. You may go through rough patches on the journey of becoming more of YOURSELF. And you may have some uncomfortable stuff come up. GREAT. WONDERFUL. That means it is TIME for it to come up and out!

So be real. Be authentic. Declare your truth. Own your feelings. State them with honesty even if your Ego-Mind throws a hissy fit.

Please don't suppress ANY of that or keep it down because you're trying 'be spiritual.'  Why?

Because energy wins.

Meaning, energy is truth. Energy is real. Energy is clear and direct and obvious. It doesn't play games like the Ego-Mind or try to make up happy excuses or do anything to 'outsmart' you.

ENERGY WINS because it's the message you are meant to receive! So be open to it!

No matter what is in front of you at this time, open up to receiving it and owning it as a message you need to know right now.

THAT IS THE GIFT!

Mercury Retrograde in Leo

A few times a year, we are gifted with periods of time to slow down, re-asses, gather ourselves together, and take stock of what the heck we are doing in our daily lives. And this period of time is called....Mercury Retrograde! 

Mercury Retrograde begins this Thursday, July 26 at 23 deg Leo and goes until August 18 at 11 deg Leo. Look for the house or any planets you have at these degrees of Leo for where you are going to be experiencing this energy of re-assessing, re-creating, re-considering, and re-prioritizing what calls to your heart right now.

Leo is a fixed sign that does not change its mind or needs easily. Leo energy has a strong will, determination to be seen, a desire to create, and is inspired by what is in the heart - where is there love, joy, and play to experience in life? Let's have some FUN and take a gamble - Vegas anyone? Leo is the archetypal sign of Las Vegas in many ways: gambling, sex, stage and theater, showgirls and dancers, plays, concerts, adult playland, desires of the heart, playing a persona, and standing out from the crowd. What is all for show just to get attention and be in the limelight, and what is truly an inspiration and expression of Self? There is a huge energetic difference in these areas of self-expression.

Mercury in Leo can be a show-off, but this retrograde is asking us to go within for what truly connects with a strong sense of Self - Who Am I Now? How am I developing more courage in myself and feeling stronger in what I want? Do I allow myself to be seen and recognized for who I truly am? Can I accept praise for my talents and abilities? Can I receive love from others in an authentic way?

It takes confidence to be the True You and put yourself out there in the world. We can mentally hold ourselves back or stay stuck in an Ego-Mind fear. Mercury in Leo retrograde is showing us where the False Ego's dialogue can be released and removed so a stronger heart-based energy is more present. More love, less False Ego. More true light, less bravado. Then you truly SHINE from a new sense of power. When Leo energy comes from that place, it is pure gold and fiery passion.

As you tap into the gifts of this Mercury in Leo retrograde, you may find more creative solutions and ways to express yourself that are authentic, courageous, and inspiring. Stay open to these aspects of yourself.

 

Our energy fields are expanding greatly, and sometimes it takes the mind more time to follow suit. This Mercury retrograde is providing an opportunity to be in higher alignment with your own energy field based on Love For Self. You may hold back love for yourself through unconscious thoughts, and now you will be gifted with ways to see those lower vibe messages you give to yourself. Is that really how you'd talk to someone you love deeply? Watch those messages and voices that dim down your light because the Leo energy will help you turn up the wattage to a new degree of self-love.

Every Mercury retrograde period is a beautiful opportunity to slow down and focus on a project that needs your attention. Re-work, re-consider, and re-create based on what resonates with a deeper truth of who you are - you will feel the courage rising to do so!

When the Sun and Mercury RX conjoin on August 9 at 16 deg Leo, there will be a surge of LIGHT shining on what you did not see before. I love Mercury Retrograde. I am typically very productive and find what I previously missed. We can make the most of these periods by seeing them as a blessing - not a curse! - and slowing down to honor the cycle of things. Don't fight what needs to go, and don't hold on to what has expired. Cancer New Moon Solar Eclipse Energies

The first eclipse of summer 2018 is here with a New Moon Solar Eclipse on July 12/13 at 20 degrees Cancer. We are being PUSHED to transform a part of our past, emotional world, unresolved pains, and buried resentments into a more useful and powerful experience as Pluto opposes the Sun and Moon.

It may feel like am emotional time, as power struggles trigger what needs to be healed. You may feel a deep push back to 'not go there' or to do what you can to feel safe. Yet the Universe is showing you that what you've been holding on to, locked away in a safe, protected space, can only take you so far until it needs to be honestly felt and released.

 

Every New Moon is both an ending point and a starting point, and we are being guided to connect with how we truly feel around heartbreak, loss, pain, resentment, and bitterness.

What areas of your emotional world can you feel more deeply by getting these stale emotions out of your energy field? As you do this inner work, you then feel wholer in your light and ready for a new beginning that is fresh, clear, and purer.

 

Cancer energy is learning how to TRUST the process even when you cannot see where the river flows.

 

So if you're feeling teary, emotional, or stuck in the past about something, this is the time to PURGE in whichever ways feel safe for you.

 

The same eclipse points typically happen every 18-19 years, and this one at 20 degrees Cancer is quite interesting. We will have another Lunar Eclipse at this same degree in January 2020. Here is a timeline of this eclipse energy.
