New Relics of Camelot goodness

Hey everyone! It's been a bit since I posted and I wanted to try and get back in the rhythm of posting teasers and goodies from LEGENDARY, CLAIMING EXCALIBUR and the upcoming RELICS OF CAMELOT!

Since I have been absent, I wanted to do a little more than usual to make up for it. As usual, every week I post two or three lines from Relics on the Relics extra page on my main site. If you want to check them out Click Here! The clips that are put up there are totally different to what I put out everywhere else and can only be found on my site!

Also, for those who came to play in the Fall YASH you will have noticed............RELICS OF CAMELOT is up on Goodreads!!!!!! You can head over now and add it to your TBR lists :)
Here's the official "unofficial" blurb:
Making a devil’s bargain with a Fae queen is a dangerous thing.

Thrown back to the golden days of Camelot, the Destined One needs to find the object that will lead her and the Knights of the Round Table to the Grail of Power. But Aliana must also figure out and complete a mystery task before she can return to her own time. The consequences of revealing Camelot’s future to King Arthur or any member of the Round Table family could be devastating. She is forced to keep secrets, feeling more alone than ever, even with the support of new friends and allies. With the unwelcome knowledge of their looming deaths, will she be able to resist the temptation to save the people she loves?

The attentions of Sir Galahad and King Arthur are a delightful yet confusing distraction. Her feelings for Arthur—even this version of him who doesn’t know her—continue to grow. The sparking sensation she’d felt whenever she touched Sir Galahad is mysteriously missing, but she can’t deny a continued connection with the protective knight.

Weapons powerful enough to destroy even Excalibur surface along with a shadowy figure that even seems to have influence over Mordrid. The time of the eclipse grows ever closer and everything Aliana thought she knew will once again be tossed into question again as she continues on her Legendary quest.

The cover will be coming in the next few weeks so be on the lookout for the big reveal! I also have one last little goodie: King Arthur's bookmark for RELICS OF CAMELOT
And to go with it, a deleted scene that I put out during the YASH. In the very first pages of LEGENDARY we see that King Arthur is dying and his loyal knights are willing to do anything to save him, including asking the dangerous Fae Queen Titania for her help. Titania agrees to save them all, but for a price. As Arthur is falling under Titania’s spell these are his last thoughts before he succumbs to her power, and awaits the Destined One to call him back to life.

LEGENDARY DELETED SCENE
A cool touch, like fine silk, brushed my skin and the pain that ripped through my dying body vanished. My vision cleared and had I not been so injured, I would have pulled away at the sight of Queen Titania.
“Arthur Pendragon.” Her practiced, honeyed voice was laced with a faint ring of arrogant delight. “Do you want to live, Arthur Pendragon? To save the realms, to regain your life and find your happiness, will you do what is asked of you? If I save you, will you rise up and do what must be done to stop Mordrid and his evil?”
My anger burned brighter. I could feel the weakened strength of my Dragon blood rising. I wanted all those things more than my next breath. “Yes, my lady. I swear on my life I will not rest until Mordrid’s dead body lies at my feet.”
That bastard Wizard and Morgana have much to pay for. And I would be the one to see the debt fulfilled.
Her fingers trailed over my cheek. Those jewel eyes of hers filled with pleasure. “I have always had a fondness for you, dear king.”
More like my throne. It did not escape my notice that she only referred to me by my rightful title after agreeing to her demands.
I heard her ask a vow from my loyal brothers and fellow knights. Honorable men that they were, they agreed. I feared the danger they had placed themselves in; but I was too weak to do anything about it. I needed them. My physical pain may have been dulled, but the pain of failing my fallen brothers, my men, my people and my lost kingdom was nearly enough to end me as easily as another dagger in my side. All my life I had dedicated my every thought, every
deed to Camelot and her people. How could I have failed them, my family, and myself so miserably?
“Prepare yourselves.” The Fae queen’s magic surrounds us.
My muscles convulsed, and then strangely relaxed. How could the magic of a Queen I had only met once feel so familiar? Even if it was a fleeting recognition.
“Do you have the Grail of Power?”
I watched Merlin hand the Queen the coveted item as she and my men added their blood to mine in the ancient relic. I wanted to tell them not to give it to her. I had never trusted this particular Fae. Especially after her veiled attempt to worm her way into my kingdom. The gold of the Grail glinted under the rays of light streaming in from a shaft in the cavern Titania had brought us to. Apparently this was to be my tomb. I watched as blood poured from the magical object, forming the largest ruby I had ever seen.
Beyond the queen, I saw my men, Sir Lancelot, Sir Galahad and Sir Merlin. Their guilt and sorrow seemed to be killing them as surely as their own wounds. But the guilt was mine. How had I failed to predict Mordrid’s actions, his plans? We had lost everything because of him.
Titania’s swaying copper curls, golden clothed body and the blood ruby hovering over me forced my attention to her and her sparking magic. “Arthur Pendragon, you are the once and future king. I command you to sleep until the one who is destined to awaken you seeks you out and calls for your aid.”
The magic consumed me, pulled my consciousness from my dying body. The Fae’s emerald eyes demand my acceptance. Then, without warning, they changed. Hard eyes softened. The smug Queen’s fine face morphed into a youthful, enthralling girl. Her smile was genuine and comforting, easing the ache in my soul. Her goodness surrounded us both like a glimmering golden net, ensnaring me.
I did not know who she was, but my heart jumped and screamed that I should know her. I could hear her soft laugh. Feel the brush of her pink lips on mine. Her voice calmed me as she whispered my name with such overwhelming emotion.
I felt myself submitting to the Fae’s magic, pulling me closer and yet further away from this ghostly girl. She had the purist, strongest heart and soul I had ever felt. I could not recall her name but I knew, beyond a doubt, she was dear to my heart, my soul.
She was my destiny.

So............what do we think? I personally loved it :) Anywho....that's all for now. I hope these new little goodies tide you over until the next teaser comes along :)
BTW--Got more exciting news coming down the pike :D

EXCLUSIVE CONTENT
Sometimes Jonathan Aubrey wishes he could just disappear. And as luck—or fate—would have it, he can. Ever since coming out of a coma as a kid, he has been able to create alternate worlds. Worlds where he is a superhero, or a ladies’ man, or simply a better version of himself. That’s the world he’s been escaping to most since sophomore year, a world where he has everything he doesn’t have in real life: friends, a place on the track team, passing grades, and most importantly, Kylie Simms as his girlfriend.
But when Jonathan confuses his worlds senior year and tries to kiss the real Kylie Simms, everything unravels. The real Kylie actually notices Jonathan … and begins obsessing over him. The fantasy version of Kylie struggles to love Jonathan as she was created to do, and the consequences are disastrous. As his worlds collide, Jonathan must confront the truth of his power and figure out where he actually belongs—before he loses both Kylies forever.

I was going through my In A World Just Right file folder and found a curious file titled My Real Worlds. I had almost forgotten that this was the story's very first title, because it so quickly became World Maker, which is how it sold to Simon and Schuster, before finally becoming In A World Just Right.
Anyway, I opened the file and found a journal entry written by Jonathan to explain his world-making power to Kylie. I think, subconsciously, it was the inspiration for the poem "My Tree" that Kylie writes. Some of the details became the exact details in the finished book. Some were completely different--like there is no Tess, and the plane crash happened when Jonathan was six.
The original file goes on and on, so here I give only the beginning. If you've read the book, or if you go on to read it, you'll probably appreciate how this is an example of how a manuscript and an author's ideas change over time.

Dear Kylie,I'm here, finally here, to fulfill my promise. And it's just as hard as I told you it would be. Everyone's dead, no big news, but the place isn't as lonely as I imagined. It's sadder, though, if that's possible. Not too far from here is a grave covered with stuffed animals and balloons.Since I'm sitting under some old oak tree, I hope six feet under there's nothing but roots and dirt, but I can feel the coffins lying in the ground under the fallen oak leaves. I passed a whole section of them dated in the 1700's. It was easier to read those weathered letters and numbers than it was to read the fresh text closer to where I sit. I still can't bring myself to look on the one you made me come here to read. It's one section over, according to the directions I got.So it's early, a little after six in the morning, and it's still not really light out. You must think I'm a freak for coming in the half-dark to a place I'm so superstitious about, but I thought it might take me a while to write down everything I want to say.The truth is, you don't know the real me. At least you don't know the most important thing—my great, big secret. I'm not an undercover prince or a superhero in disguise, though I've been both. What I am, actually, is the weirdest freak of nature you can possibly imagine.I think I'd better just start with the airplane. You already know about the crash. The whole world knew about it when it happened. The flight out of Boston should have been the start of a pretty nice vacation, but instead it plunged into Boston Harbor not thirty seconds after the wheels left the runway. My mom and dad and I were supposed to be going to Disneyworld. I was six. They died. Somehow I, and eleven others, didn't.It took a long time before I was let out of the hospital. Broken bones, induced coma, and all that. I was discharged with only the scars on my arm and face as evidence of the trauma, pronounced perfectly recovered. But four months had passed. Summer vacation had come and gone and first grade had just about reached the end of the first quarter. I didn't go home to my house. (I never saw my house again.) I went straight to my uncle's, where he had brought all of my things and made me up a room with everything a six-year-old boy could want. Especially my own TV. I spent a few days alone with him trying to understand my new life, and then he sent me off to Washington Elementary School on Kennedy Street. My first day I remember nothing but recess. I had tried to enter a kickball game with the other kids, but one of them called me "Frankenstein" and I burst into tears. I had seen my scars in the mirror at the hospital, but somehow, if you can believe it, I'd forgotten they were there. (I don't think my uncle let me look in the mirror the whole time we were alone.) Well, now the image of the damaged skin came back to me. I did look like Frankenstein’s monster, and I've never, even after surgeries to help the way I look, ever gotten over that comment. I'm sure no one had a doubt why I grew my hair longer when I got older or why I never wore a tank top or a short-sleeve shirt, even in the summer.I remember you, Kylie, from elementary school. You never called me names. You never called me anything. There wasn't any reason for us to be friends. The loss of my parents and the horror of my face made me pretty much mute for a few years, and by the time I found my voice and might have been able to be a good friend to someone else, friendships had already been made and sealed without me. I just got used to being alone. By then I had found my real worlds, and this is where I really, really need you to listen. This is what I could never say to you when I had the chance. I can't tell you how many times it was on the tip of my tongue as we sat together in the hospital, but I never had the courage, and you were always so tired. It can't be too late to fix that mistake. Please don't let it be too late. And please, please don't think I'm a monster because I took advantage of an opportunity I couldn't resist . . .

CONTINUE THE HUNT

New Teaser for Relics of Camelot!

It's been a while since I've put up a Relics of Camelot teaser so here's a fun one. But I got one question for you first? Have you ever wondered, while reading my series, what my Guinevere would be like?
Now it's your turn to find out!

“Welcome back m’lord.” His smile was easy, excited and very friendly. His dark brown eyes flicked to Aliana and he just stared.Fighting an uncomfortable blush and the desire to shy away, she bit her cheek but offered the boy a smile. Take a picture kid, it’ll last longer.“Are you going to stare or help the Lady Aliana down, boy?” Gawain shot him an exasperated look. “You’ve seen beautiful ladies before.”The kid flushed brightly, ducking his head, apologizing in a soft stuttering voice as he set down a stool another boy had brought over. The guys started laughing loudly and Aliana glowered at them.“Leave him alone, boys.”The kid flashed her an embarrassed but grateful smile. Leaning into Merlin, Aliana lifted her leg over the horse, the boys hand was at her waist steadying her as he took her hand and helped her down.“Thank you,” she said while Merlin and the guys dismounted. “I’m Aliana, what’s your name?”He never got to answer.“Raven is one of our newest stable hands.” Merlin looked like he was going to say more but another familiar voice drew his attention. “You’ve finally returned.” Lancelot’s voice was the same as it was in Aliana’s time, accented with just a touch of superiority. But the most surprising thing was the red haired woman at his side, her arm tucked into Lancelot’s. Her skin was pale with a light dusting of freckles and rich brown eyes.“Lancelot, Guinevere!” Percival greeted the pair with a hard pat on Lancelot’s arm and a kiss dropped on Guinevere’s cheek.“Look who we finally tracked down,” Gawain teased taking Lancelot’s arm in a warrior’s greeting then kissed Guinevere’s other cheek.“And I see he didn’t come alone.” Lancelot regarded her with an open and frank curiosity. Clenching the loose pink fabric of her dress sleeve, Aliana took a breath trying to stow her building panic. As familiar as all these knights were, it was impossible to forget that these guys weren’t her knights. They didn’t know her from Eve, and it was going to take more the Merlin’s vouching for her to get them to accept her. But then maybe it would be better if they didn’t really get to know her. It had been hard enough to not slip up with their names so far, what would happen if she slipped and gave herself away. She couldn’t risk doing damage to the world’s timeline. Though with her luck, that’s exactly what would happen.Merlin introduced her to Lancelot and Guinevere, telling the same effortless lie that he had to Percival and Gawain. He told them about wanting to introduce her to Arthur and get her settled into a room in the castle.“Welcome to Camelot, Lady Aliana,” Guinevere said coming to her side. “It will be so nice to have another girl around here. These men can get a bit boring at times,” she added in a fake whisper, her brown eyes twinkling laughter as she shot a glance at her knight.
Aliana giggled, it seemed like she and Guinevere would get along very well. Her delight faltered at the thought, however, since Guinevere was supposed to die.
So what do we think of the new teaser? I hope everyone liked it! We are getting closer and closer to the release of Relics, and I hope to have the official release date and cover to reveal to you all soon :)

Little bit of silliness

I was scrolling through FB the other day and saw a post one of my friends put up. I immediately went and tried what she suggested.
But what did she suggest, you ask?
"Google image your first name + meme and see what comes up."
I literally spent thirty minutes just scrolling through and laughing my butt off! Naturally I saved a bunch of them an I thought I would share :) If you're so inspired google your first name with meme in google images and share your favorite in the comments!
Enjoy the silliness.

Relics of Camelot teaser #3

It's that time of the week, which means time for a new goodie from my Legendary Universe! This week I've got another teaser from RELICS OF CAMELOT. Camelot its self is almost like a character of it's own with a fascinating back story that I can't wait to see how it unfolds.
Enjoy the teaser and be sure to head over to my site to see this week's quote drop CLICK HERE

She pushed the door open, slid through and closed it, leaned against the hard wood and let out a deep sigh of relief.A feminine voice cleared her throat. Aliana’s eyes shot up to meet the pale sunlight eyes of a tall woman with very dark honey colored hair and a motherly smile. She was standing beside the small table and chair by the lit fireplace. Aliana looked around the room quickly to be sure it was hers. “Forgive me, but I am in my room, right?” The woman smiled, a throaty laugh escaping her. The woman’s long face was slightly familiar, but she couldn’t figure out why.“Yes,” she said amusement in her tone. “I am Queen Igraine. My son and Merlin were telling me about you after my return earlier today.”The blood drained from Aliana’s face. This was Arthur’s mother! She curtsied quickly not wanting to offend such a powerful woman.Jeeze this day just keeps getting better and better!“I see I have startled you. Please sit down.” She waved her hand to the chair by the crackling fire.Aliana steeled herself, pushed away from the door and went to the woman’s side, but didn’t sit. “I am fine, thank you. You just surprised me.”Her laughing sun eyes crinkled with her mirth. “I was on my way to see to dinner when Sir Gawain and Sir Percival brought in a man who looked in dire need of healer and a remedy for drunkenness. They told me what happened and I simply had to meet such a brave young woman.” “Um…” For the second time today, Aliana couldn’t think of what to say.The queen’s long face softened even more. “Please do not feel uncomfortable by my presence. My son has told me you will be staying with us for a while. You seem to have made quite the impression on many people since your arrival.” The queen headed towards the door. “Then I will not keep you any longer. I hope we will have some time to talk tomorrow.”Aliana nodded and the queen left looking satisfied. Though why she was, Aliana had no clue. “What was that all about?” she asked Dagg as soon as he became his normal self.“I think we just met a piece of the puzzle we have been missing.”Aliana wheeled around to the Dragon who was perched on the top of the chair. “Say what?”His lips pulled back, amused. “You didn’t feel it did you?”“Feel what?”“The air humming around the queen.”Aliana straightened trying to recall it, but failed. “No. What does that have to do with anything?”Dagg jumped from his perch, hovering before her. “She’s a Dragon. A Golden Dragon to be precise.”

Now you've seen it, and I hope you've enjoyed it. I am still up in the air about what I want to do for next week's teasers so if you have any burning desire to see something, please let me know :)

Relics of Camelot Teaser #2 & contest winners

Hello everyone! It's a wonderful day today, and to make it better I've got the next teaser for RELICS OF CAMELOT.
(I also got some really good news last night, but that will be for another announcement, once it's confirmed ;P)
I've decided to go with another of my favorite parts from Relics, one that finally takes us to the Underworld! I can't say how much I loved the Underworld, and I think, when you get to read those chapters, you will to! So many great characters discovered.
Time for me to stop yammering and get to it!

Aliana jumped back as a woman’s head appeared to go with the eyes. Her body soon followed, like the Cheshire Cat’s from Alice in Wonderland. She turned into a beautiful Sphinx with long tapered paws and a muscular but feminine body. She wore jade green chest armor to match the dark Greek style helmet on her head.“You’re beautiful,” Aliana let slip before she could stop herself. The legendary creature grinned. “Flattery will not return your friend to you, Destined One.” Her mirth didn’t seem friendly. It felt like she was sizing Aliana up, like a great predator looking for a weakness to exploit.Aliana crossed her arms. “How do you know who I am?”Her lion/human shoulders shrugged in a fluid, unreal like motion, the first move she had made since appearing, a smug tilt to her mouth and wide white eyes. “I know much. My master has talked often of you.”“Your master?” Aliana shifted to place herself between Dagg’s cage and the creature. If she noticed, she made no mention of it. The Sphinx just shifted her head in that same eerie fluid motion.Shivers ran down Aliana’s spine like a snake slithering down her back. “I want my friend back, now.” The Sphinx woman remained unmoving like a still lake. “But you did not come for your Guardian.”Aliana gnashed her teeth. “Yes, but my friend came with me. You had no right to take him.”Her lips pulled back in a wicked smile revealing pearly white canine teeth. “I did not take him from you. You are in the Underworld, realm of the great Underlord. Everything and everyone here bows to his will.”“I still want Dagg back, and the magic relic I came for. I need to get home and I can’t do that without either of them.”
Her head shook from side to side, like rippling water and earth. “It is only within my power to grant you one or the other. Choose wisely, Destined One.”

What did we think?
When I first started imagining the Underworld Sphinx's were the first thing that came to my mind. (Out side of a three headed dog, of course.) I knew right away there had to be a Sphinx. Leave me a comment below and tell me what you want to see next!

On to other business, time to announce my contest winners from last week!
CONGRATULATIONS to Laura Thomas and Shelly Hammond!Laura has won the signed set of Princess Diaries booksShelly has won the digital copies of my books!I need both ladies to contact me through the post or social media and I will get the information to send them their prizes!!!

That's it from me, wonderful people! Don't forget to hit up the Relics Teaser page on my main website for more extras and quotes!<3 always LH

Legendary Deleted Scene

Hey everyone! It's a new week and I've got a new teaser like promised! Okay, this one isn't really a teaser. I had a few requests for something from Galahad so here's what I chose. A scene that was cut from Legendary. Or rather, it's a scene that I had originally written from Galahad's POV. Let me explain. When I first wrote Legendary I had several parts from Arthur and Galahad's POV's but my fantastically wise editor suggested we cut or rework them to be from Aliana's perspective. I love this particular part, it was REALLY hard to cut at first, which is why I am so glad I get to finally put it out in the world! To set the scene: This takes place just after they’ve arrived back in London, found Lancelot and Percy. It’s Galahad and Arthur’s first night in the modern world and Aliana is preparing breakfast for everyone.
Please excuse any grammar errors; this is a cut scene so it never hit copy edits.Galahad opened his eyes, a delectable scent teasing his nose and the faint sound of metal scraping against metal rousing him from his sleep. Quickly rolling out of bed, he grabbed his sword and the strange round door handle. He twisted the thing, only to feel the metal bend beneath his fingers as it popped out from the door.He stared speechless at the piece of crushed metal. The thing had seemed sturdy. How had he ripped it clean off without even trying?More metal scraped against metal. Setting the knob aside, he crept out into the hall towards the main room. The scent of cooked meat and something sweet grew stronger as he passed a still sleeping Owen. Sword gripped in his hand, he crept into the kitchen. He paused in the doorway utterly ensnared at the sight of Aliana. Her back to him as she cooking something over an open flame. She swayed back and forth, singing softly to strange music. Where was it coming from?Everything about this girl fascinated him. He probably shouldn’t have indulged in his desires back in the Keep, but it had been so easy to block the Sidhe’s magic with his mind focused on Aliana. When she fell under the Sidhe’s spell, standing on that walkway with the setting sun glowing around her, it was all he could do to not rip her away from them and into his arms. Dagg had acted first, getting her back into action, but when her eyes met his, he had fallen under herspell. Galahad couldn't remember the last time he had felt such feelings, but when she tried to get him to go to the Sidhe, he had panicked. He, Sir Galahad, notorious for his calm disposition and ability to remain clear headed in battles, reacted instead of thinking. He didn’t regret kissing her; he just wished their first kiss hadn’t been to save her life. He would have to rectify that. Soon, I hope.Looking at her now, she looked soft, not the brave girl who had risked herself to save people she thought only a story. Most of the men he had known in Camelot would have balked by now, but not Aliana. Her clothes were almost indecent, but so many things were different in the world now, there was so much he still needed to learn. Galahad would never admit it but the thought of conforming to this new world unsettled him.  It was all he could do not to jump out of his skin during the ride from Avalon. Some of it didn’t seem so bad; and he has his king and friends to help him through the changes. Aliana too. His eyes swept over her skin, left exposed by the thin black top held on her body by thin straps. She wore a pair of long dark purple pants, exposing a small gap of pale skin. Her bare feet and clothes seemed an odd choice, but he couldn’t bring himself to be sorry for enjoying the sight of her. Some dark emotion rose to the surface when he thought about another man seeing Aliana like this.Leaning his shoulder against the door frame he crossed his arms. It had been so long since he let himself care for a woman. His duty to Arthur and Camelot had always come first, needed to come first. He’s a Knight of Camelot, protecting his king, and those who can’t protect themselves, is his sworn duty! It confused him that he could have such intense feelings for a girl he only just met. Several times he had tried to distance himself from her, but the emotions she had awoken in him, with only her touch, wouldn’t allow it.For as beautiful as she was, Aliana was also headstrong, infuriating, stubborn and impetuous. Already her rash decisions had nearly killed her several times, and not just in Avalon, it seemed. If the stories Owen had told them, after she went to bed earlier, were true. Whatever feelings he may have for her, he couldn’t let them outweigh his duty to protect his King—and her.  Galahad stepped into the kitchen as Aliana turned with a hot pan of meat held carefully in her hands. She jumped and squeaked in shock at his sudden presence. The pan slipped from her grip. There was no way she would avoid getting burned. He couldn’t let her get hurt. Before the pan could fall, Galahad was next to her, his hand closing around hers and the handle of the heavy pan. His sword clanked against the ground where he had been standing only a second ago.Small shocks of awareness shot up his arms as he felt her soft warm skin. The sensation had his heart racing as he struggled to not give into the desire to pull her closer against him. To explore more of her body. Taking the pan he sat it down gently on the counter, not allowing his hand tremor. Her eyes were rounded with surprise, a faint blush stained her cheeks. Did she feel the connection between them as he did? It was a bond he could easily lose himself in.“Galahad… how did you?” Aliana looked over at the sword lying on the ground then back to him.His nose twitched as a charred scent wafted near them.“Oh no, my eggs!” Aliana pulled away from him, grabbing the smoking pan from the stovetop. She let out a defeated sigh, scraping the black and yellow mess into a white container on the floor. She peaked up at him from the corner of her eyes, her flush deepened.“How long have you been up, and how the heck did you move so damn fast when you grabbed the pan?” She asked as she rinsed and cleaned the pan.“I do not know how I moved so swiftly. I heard some noise and I thought someone had broken in.”“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you. You can go back to bed. I’ll be quieter.”
Galahad shook his head, walking over to pick up his sword. In this foreign world, it comforted him to have something he understood, that was a part of him. “I have done nothing but rest for a very long time. I would rather stay and help you. If you need my assistance.”
Just like last week, I am going to take requests for what you want to see next. That one WILL be a teaser for the next book so choose wisely and let me know your chose in the comment box. :)

I'm also dropping a few lines from RELICS OF CAMELOT------but, like I said last week, they will only be available on the teaser page for RELICS on my main site. So click here to see this week's offering :)

And for those who don't have my books, but are interested here's the details for LEGENDARY the first book in my Legendary Saga, and where you can get it.

LEGENDARY (LEGENDARY SAGA # 1)AMAZON ~ B&N ~ iTUNES ~ GOODREADSAliana Fagan spent her childhood traveling the world, dreaming of legendary heroes and mythical lands. But after the sudden death of her parents, she hides behind the safety of her camera and her art until a vivid recurring dream compels her to dig into her father's research about Avalon and Camelot. When she is hurled into a magical realm by forces she thought were only the stuff of fairy tales, she finds herself thrown into an adventure she could never have imagined. Nearly everything she thought she knew about Arthurian legend was wrong.
The independent eighteen-year-old is shocked to find that the people of Avalon think that she is the Destined One, the only person who can summon King Arthur back to life from his hidden chamber. Most surprising of all is that it's up to her to lead the Knights of the Round Table on an epic quest-an adventure that will transport them across the seven magic realms to reclaim all that has been lost so they can defeat the evil Mordrid for good.
But first, she must bring the ancient warriors into her world and reunite them with their lost brothers.
Chaperoning the legendary knights-with-a-chivalry-complex as they navigate the modern world is a constant challenge, and she certainly never thought she'd be caught between her intense feelings for the noble Sir Galahad and her growing friendship with the King.
To fulfill the prophecy, Aliana will have to discover the meaning of friendship, bravery, loyalty, true love, and forgiveness. But can she do it all in time to save the realms from Mordrid's impending Armageddon?

Young Adult Giveaway Hop

I love getting to share my love of books with other book lovers and these hops are such a fun way to discover new literary treasures! I've decided that this time I'm going to share one of my favorite YA series of all time, from my child hood: the Princess Diaries!

Mia Thermopolis is pretty sure there's nothing worse than being a five-foor-nine, flat-chested freshman, who also happens to be flunking Algebra.
Is she ever in for a surprise.
First Mom announces that she's dating Mia's Algebra teacher. Then Dad has to go and reveal that he is the crown prince of Genovia. And guess who still doesn't have a date for the Cultural Diversity Dance?

No one ever said being a princess was easy.
Just when Mia thought she had the whole princess thing under control, things get out of hand, fast. First there's an unexpected announcement from her mother. Then Grandmère arranges a national primetime interview for the brand-new crown princess of Genovia. On top of that, intriguing, exasperating letters from a secret admirer begin to arrive.

Before she even has the chance to wonder who those letters are from, Mia is swept up in a whirlwind of royal intrigue the likes of which hasn't been seen since volume I of The Princess Diaries.

Princess Mia may seem like the luckiest girl ever.
But the truth is, Mia spends all her time doing one of three things: preparing for her nerve-wracking entrée into Genovian society, slogging through the congestion unique to Manhattan in December, and avoiding further smooches from her hapless boyfriend, Kenny.
For Mia, being a princess and in love is not the fairy tale it's supposed to be... or is it?

Since I'm featuring the first three amazing books in this wonderful series, I'm also giving away the newest print editions in one prize pack! For my international visitors, sorry, this one is limited to US entrants only.
But never fear, I have a second giveaway that is open internationally--A digital copy of my first book LEGENDARY and the second in series CLAIMING EXCALIBUR!
