I kind of have a dark side. I'm sure that's not news. LOL

And for the past two weeks, I've been feeling like I'm about to die. Maybe I'll be in a car accident or my daughter will be running with scissors, but I've been looking over my shoulder, kind of expecting it to happen and knowing it will be quick. After all, my series is complete, I had a great run, and I got more than I ever thought I would out of life. Now would be the PERFECT time to die, wouldn't it?

You know what it is, though? I think that when we have so much good going on, it's natural to feel like the bubble will burst at any time. And that's how I'm feeling. So grateful and content,

and then--WHAM!--the garage door will probably fall on my head!

I mean, how could things get any better than this?

Truth is, I've realized something about myself. I don't know how to be happy!

I always feel like the rug will be pulled out from under me, and while that messes with my high, I guess it also keeps my feet on the ground, too. If I try to remember one thing every day, it's that there's always room to do better. Always room to grow and improve no matter what we do in life. Be a lifelong learner.

And I'm not done growing, so now is CLEARLY not the time to die. :D

Thank you for one of the best week's in my life. FALLING AWAY making the New York Times and USA Today Bestseller's Lists, getting a mention in Newsweek Magazine, and the great feedback everyone has given me has lifted my spirits, and I'm excited for the next adventure. Writing is fun, and I like it. But I love writing for you.

So if I'm still alive after my shower this morning, I'll sit down and keep writing. Wish me luck. I'm going in. ;)

Best Release Ever...

I can't thank you enough for the support and confidence you've maintained throughout this series. Each book holds a special place for me, but Falling Away is my heart.

I know some of you have questions, and I promise I'll address them. I'm just trying to get through the release and blog tour coming up. But you will hear from me soon.
