The Sunshine Award
It’s like a little touch of spring already on the blog with the above picture
Fitting since I just put the first few seeds of the year into the ground today. So here are the rules (copied & pasted)
1) Thank the person who presented you with the award and link them in your blog post.
2) Do the Q and A that comes with the award (see below).
3) Present the award to 10-12 other bloggers and link them to your blog.
Okay then, here we go:
1) Thanks to Virginia Kelly for the tag
2) Let the Q&A begin!
Favourite Colour: I have three, blue, silver and black.
Favourite Animal: I love dogs
They’re adorable and hold a special place in my heart, which is why most of my books feature a dog in there somewhere.
Favourite Number: I like 44, 316 & 136 have been lucky for me.
Favourite Non-Alcoholic Drink: This could be quite the list. Raspberry Juice, Grapefruit Juice, Orange Juice, Dr. Pepper, Chocolate milk, lemonade, limeade, shirley temples.
Facebook or Twitter: Some days twitter, because its easier to hold a conversation.
My Passion: Writing. Music. Photography.
Getting or receiving presents: Giving, I love finding the perfect gift for someone.
Favourite Pattern: Pattern, oh this one’s tough, really hard to say. Plaid maybe or zig zags.
Favourite Day of the Week: Fridays or Mondays. Mondays purely because of Castle, he really is ruggedly handsome.
Favourite Flower: Ooh I’ll narrow down the list. Verbena, paintbox nemesia, dahlias, zinnias, lavateras. Pretty much anything with a pretty color and/or scent to it and that I can grow.
3) Present the award to 10-12 other bloggers and link them to your blog.
I’m not sure I’m going to have that many but here we go:

A soundtrack in the making
I always end up making soundtracks to the manuscripts as I write them. Probably because I can’t write in complete silence, and I also can’t write with someone right beside me.
Since the first draft of If Tomorrow Never Comes was written about uh thirteen years ago now, it’s had some additions to it along the way, it’s tripled in size from the first draft and the soundtrack of course is no different. I can’t find my original soundtrack list from back then, but here are a few songs from the most recent version.
‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ of course, I love Garth’s version the best, but it’s hard to find online. Ronan does a nice job with it though.
The moment I heard Britney’s ‘Someday I Will Understand’ I knew it was Avery’s theme song.
This one pretty much sums up Josh, even though I didn’t add it to the soundtrack till the last revision. Michael’s Heaven Can Wait.

Looks like spring
Temperatures are warmer. The soil isn’t as frozen as it was a few days ago. The flowers I bought are already in the ground, which just leaves the seeds that need to be planted. Need to go through my seeds tonight or tomorrow and see what I want to put together, but that means I should be able to really go play in the dirt in the next few days. Can’t wait! Especially since I couldn’t find any verbena plants yet, I’ll try my hand at growing my own from some of the seeds I bought last year.

If Tomorrow Never Comes Amazon Link
Hi all,
It looks like for whatever reason the link is not working on the book page. I’m hoping this will: http://amzn.com/B00BHOCMMC

Spoke Too Soon
After that last post about snow, we got hit with one last blast of winter and best part? Right on the day I’d gone out and bought flowers. So had a kitchen full of potted and hanging baskets until the temperatures went back up again, but we are now pretty much snow free. Ah, how nice it is. I can dig out the runners and sandals instead of the snow boots.

Finally Spring?
We may finally be getting a spring afterall! The snow finally seems to be melting away and the forecast seems to be actually warm for the next little while. Can’t wait for it to be warm enough that I can go play in the dirt and start planting some flower seeds. Last year I wasn’t able to because of the windows, but this year, flowers, flowers everywhere
I have one sure sign of Spring on my desk, my dad bought me a little pot of Mini Daffodil’s for the office. Six were open yesterday, and another one opened this weekend. Which is good since I’ll be stuck inside most of the weekend trying to finish this last set of revisions.

Guest Blogging
Tomorrow I’m doing my first guest blog over at my friend Nell’s blog: http://nelldixonrw.blogspot.ca/
Have to say I’m a wee bit nervous about it. Still not quite feeling all that authorly, authorish? Hmm not sure which is the right word, but either way, not quite feeling it yet. Just hoping it goes well.
I need to upload the revised draft to amazon tonight and hope the formatting sticks. A few tiny changes meant some chapters moved and two disappeared, but the word count didn’t really change much.
