The Bible says that Jesus was full of grace and truth. Truth is not a principle. Truth is a person. Truth is Jesus Christ.

If I discover truth from the Bible, how do I know the Bible is true? There���s a world of objective evidence, both external and internal, that says the Bible is true.

As you are forming your worldview and searching Scripture for God���s truth on all kinds of matters, it���s important to understand God���s stance on the three most controversial parts of a Christian worldview today. I mention these three because they are the ones you need the most courage to speak up about. Why? Because not only will most people disagree with you about these topics, they will also passionately argue with you.

We Know God���s Truth Through Careful Consideration

When you tell God, ���I want the truth more than anything else,��� he will reveal his truth to you in a variety of ways, such as through creation or your conscience and also through careful consideration.

In other words, truth is knowable. You can test it. You can experiment with it. You can prove it.

God leads us to discover his truth not only through creation but also through our conscience.

Bring Your Love and Work Together

The apostle Paul says, ���Do all your work in love��� (1 Corinthians 16:14 TEV).

He doesn���t say some of your work but all of your work. He also says that no matter ���what I do, I'm bankrupt without love��� (1 Corinthians 13:3 MSG).

We Need God���s Love So We Can Love Others

If you only love on and off like a light switch, you do not love others like God wants you to love. Jesus said, ���If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?��� (Luke 6:32a NIV)

Love is a skill that can be learned. In other words, it���s something you can get good at, and that means you get better at love by practicing love.

Love Is an Action

If you really love someone, then you show it by how you act toward that person.

Love is more than attraction and more than arousal. It���s also more than sentimentality, like so many of today���s songs suggest. By this standard, is love dead when the emotion is gone? No ��� not at all ��� because love is an action and a behavior.
