Still Writing...
I'm still working on the new book after a few setbacks, but I am taking classes this summer so I don't have much of a break. I have absolutely no clue when this book will be complete, let alone released, but I will keep the word count updated under the 'Other Books' tab. This one will probably be closer to 120k words to give you guys an estimate as to how close the book is to being done.

Fractured Release On Hold Indefinitely
As some may have noticed, I've set the Fractured release date as 'On Hold'. I don't like the story as much and I feel like something is missing in it so I haven't been working on it.
Instead, I've been favoring my newest story that's about a guy in college that is killed by a falling meteor and is brought back to life by his new friend that turns out to be a necromancer.
I have much more material for this one, most likely because I didn't have to create a parallel world where magic exists like I did with the Fractured Series. I'm at 60,000 words in The Necromancer's Pet (tentative title) and I'm just over about halfway through where I think this book is going to end. I don't have any idea when it'll be finished since my classwork takes priority, but it will most likely be finished during summer at the latest.
At the moment, I'm unsure if I will ever finish the Key of Worlds books and publish them. One thing I won't do is publish what I have and then just stop working on it, leaving the story without an ending. As a reader, I hate that sort of thing and I can't justify doing that as a writer.
As always, I'll keep the word count updated regularly for the story I'm currently working on and post any new developments.

Want a Free Copy of the Final Book in The Gods' Executioner Series?
If you write reviews for the previous books in The Gods' Executioner Series, send me an email and I'll send you a copy of the An Imperceptible Ruse Indeed in the format of your choosing.
Already read the fifth book? Write a review for all for the books in The Gods' Executioner Series and I'll send you an advanced copy of my newest book, Fractured, when I'm finished with the editing.
The reviews don't have to be long or very thoughtful, they just have to be in existence.
Thanks!

An Imperceptible Ruse Indeed (Book 5 of The Gods' Executioner Series) is Now Available!
I've decided to just release it early because I got the editing done quicker than I expected and pre-ordering eBooks is kind of stupid anyway.
I uploaded it to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords a few minutes ago so it will be live on those channels by tomorrow and other channels like Apple, Kobo and Sony in about a week.
As always, I'll update this post and my 'Books' tab with the links when they go live.

An Imperceptible Ruse Indeed now available for Pre-order!
Book 5 of The Gods' Executioner Series is now available for pre-order on Smashwords
It will be available for pre-order through Apple, Kobo, and Barnes & Noble soon.
The official release date is December 3rd, 2013 which is two weeks before the anniversary of when I started writing the series. I wanted to release it on the anniversary, but apparently it wouldn't get shipped out until the new year so I went with the third.
The price for preorder is $2.99 but the actual price will be $3.99 once the book is released.
Sorry for those of you with Kindles but there is no pre-order option for Amazon.
The 15% preview is now available for download on Smashwords and it will be available (I assume) on Apple, B&N, and Kobo soon.
I'll post an update once the book is approved to be shipped out to the other channels.

Another Round of Editing
I'm going through and editing all of my books again. I just uploaded a new copy of That Which is Unexpected to Amazon and Smashwords. The new edits include a short section that lists all of my books and an extended excerpt from Mania and the Executioner, so even if you get an email from Amazon saying that massive edits have been made, there really haven't been many.
The only things that have been added to the main story are a few words that were missing and some word choice changes to make things flow a little better. I also adjusted the starting/ending point of one chapter to make it flow better.
The edits for the other books will be the same way as I'll be adding excerpts into all of my books that are currently published.
So to recap, the changes that will be made in the process of editing the books include:
An 'Also by' page.
Excerpts from the sequels.
Addition of missing words (the, and, which, etc).
Word choice changes.
Possible reorganization of starting and/or ending points on chapters.
I won't be adding any content so no worries to those of you that have already read the books; you won't be missing out on anything if you choose not to read them again.

Review on That Which is Unexpected
Zach Tyo over at indiebookreviewer.blogspot.com did a great job on his review for That Which is Unexpected. I really feel that he captured the essence of the book and of what my writing style is like. There's also a short interview with me at the end of the review.
In the end That Which is Unexpected by A.L. Bridges is a wonderfully lighthearted, comical, action packed adventure that keeps you turning the pages, and I mean that; I found it hard to put down and ended up finishing it over the course of two evenings though I could have done it in one day if it weren't for the civilian job...it really wasn't like anything I've read before in a great way.
If you want to read the rest, go check it out at indiebookreviewer.blogspot.com!

Mania and the Executioner Price Change
Because it's been nearly six months since the release of That Which is Unexpected, I've decided to lower the price of Mania and the Executioner down to $0.99. The price has already been updated on Smashwords so it will be updated on all other retailers in a week-ish. Amazon will most likely be sooner because I have direct control over that one.
As for updates on the fifth book, I don't have any. It's starting to look like this one will take the longest to release. I will say that if enough progress hasn't been made come October, I'm most likely going to release the fifth book for pre-order.
This will only work for my Smashwords, Kobo, and Apple readers, which there don't seem to be as many of, so what does this mean for the rest of you?
Well, it means that, if you really can't wait for the next book, you can download the sample of it (15%) at Smashwords, transfer it to your Kindle or Nook via usb, and read that to tide you over until the release date. It also means that I'll have an estimate on the release date.
I'll keep the site updated with the progress on the fifth book.

Updates and Future Writing
Starting on Wednesday, my Fall semester officially starts so my writing will be slowing down by quite a bit.
I'm still in the process of editing and having beta readers go through the fifth and final book of The Gods' Executioner Series, but the start of my classes shouldn't cause any delays.
My slowed down writing pace will only affect the next book I'm writing. I'm not ready to release any details on it yet, but I'm sticking with the fantasy genre and I'm about 17,000 words in. So, while another book is coming, don't expect my usual turn around times of a couple months.
As always, I'll post again when the fifth book gets closer to being ready for release.
