Lone Wolf Legacy Trilogy

Whoare the lone wolves?

Sincethe rise of the werewolf, there has always existed a single lone wolf—with purewhite, gray, or black fur and eyes that match—who answers to no alpha, belongsto no pack. Merciless and deadly, he wanders the world, both judge andexecutioner of rogue wolves who senselessly kill, endangering all their kind.

Whenone dies, another takes its place, awakening to his purpose the first time heshifts to his wolf form. Known by the sign of the lone wolf—a sickle over theheart—the short-handled, circular blade remains as a tattoo on the man and as amark on the wolf. A lethal combination of intelligence, brutal strength, andkeen instinct, he walks a lonely path, shunned by pack, always alone.

For the first time, there are three in theworld—white, gray, and black—who all bear the mark on their chests. No oneknows why, least of all them…

Temptingthe Black Wolf

LoneWolf Legacy Book 3

The wrath ofthe black wolf is unleashed…in this scorching finale of New York Times bestsellingauthor N.J. Walters’s enticingly sexy Lone Wolf Legacy series

I am an immortal predator, driven to hunt and protect the wolf packs fromdanger—especially rogue wolves. This destiny is my blood, my bone. Mywill.

There are two other lone wolves—one gray, one white—but I am the strongest. Themost powerful. And we all share an enemy, who set a trap for each of us: awoman with our coloring who will draw us into danger and make our wolves howlwith need.

But I won’t give in to lust or passion.

I already know the face of the woman who is my supposed bait: a stunning andpowerful mage named Onyx. We’ve been circling each other, wary, fueled bydeeply intense attraction and fierce distrust.

But the enemy of my enemy is my ally…for now. It’s a brief truce, lacedwith raw, primal hunger.
Because when this is over—if we survive—we’ll have to go head-to-head one lasttime.

And I never lose.

Remembrance Day

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,That mark our place; and in the skyThe larks, still bravely singing, flyScarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days agoWe lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,Loved and were loved, and now we lieIn Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:To you from failing hands we throwThe torch; be yours to hold it high.If ye break faith with us who dieWe shall not sleep, though poppies growIn Flanders fields.
~John McCrae

Thank you to all who have served.

Publishing Annversary--20 Years!

Twenty years ago, my first book was published by Ellora's Cave. Since then, I’ve had 122 books published with a variety of publishers—Ellora’s Cave, Samhain Publishing, Carina Press, Beyond the Page Publishing, The Naughty Literati, Entangled Publishing, Evernight Publishing, and a variety of indie anthologies.

(Some original covers and some reprint covers. Not all books are currently available.)

What a strange and wonderful ride it’s been since that fateful day back in 2004. None of it would have been possible without the amazing publishers and editors I’ve had the privilege to work with. I’ve learned so much and continue to grow and learn with each book I write.

A heartfelt thanks to everyone who has every purchased and read one of my books. Because of you, it’s been possible for me to make a living as a writer. It’s been a gift to me. It’s impossible for you to know how much it’s meant and continues to mean to me.

Thank you to my fellow writers for your support, kindness, and encouragement and for helping me spread the word about my books. (I suck at promo, so I really appreciate it.)

This is not an easy profession. There have been countless ups and downs over the almost two decades—triumphs and tragedies, frustration and satisfaction, laughter and tears. There have been days I’ve almost thrown in the towel and given up, but at the end of the day, I love writing too much, even when I’m struggling to find the words.

Thank you for 20 amazing years. I look forward to many more.
