Happy Birthday Charles Dickens
Today is the 200th anniversary of the birth of English writer Charles Dickens. He was born on February 7, 1812 and wrote many novels that focused on the living and working conditions of the poor in England. He was extremely popular in his time and continues to be a favorite today, creating many iconic characters, including Scrooge.I really enjoyed A Tale of Two Cities, but my favorite Dicken's book is A Christmas Carol. Do you have a favorite?
