Miguel Jacq is a French-Australian poet photographer fiend. He lives in Melbourne, Australia where he runs (some say ruins) an I.T business.

His work has been published by The Blue Hour Press, Dagda Publishing, Deep Water Literary Journal, Kind Of A Hurricane Press, The Poetry Jar, Vox Poetica and Visible Ink.

In 2013, he was shortlisted for the Australian Science Poetry Prize, and was one of seven poets to feature in the ‘Pillowtalk’ event at the St Kilda StripFest.

Miguel is also co-editor of the online literary journal, The Blue Hour Magazine.

like wild teenagers.


soon bigger creatures come

and crash those summer

romances to juice.


dreams get stronger,

concentrated into truth

in those dark places.


I drink these stories

of liquid love,

get softer in that warmth,


soon returning to expel

myself, give back

that living memory
