One of my favorite fortunes I have ever received. All the way...

One of my favorite fortunes I have ever received. All the way down to the bumblebee in it. I think trying to be a light for people in our lives is the loftiest of goals, trying to be a source of illumination for those who may have misplaced their own glow, who may feel wrapped only in darkness. I will always try to be this for you, all of you, and I hope you know this.

Stay close, as we fly into unsteady winds, into unknown days....

Stay close, as we fly into unsteady winds, into unknown days. Let me feel your wingbeats, close enough, closer, until I cannot distinguish between your sounds and mine. Stay close, as we must fly together as we migrate into the next few years in this land, we will need each other more than ever. Know that when you tire, I will be there, right ahead of you, to give you a break from the breeze. Find my wake when you feel you cannot fly, for I will carry you home.

Howdy wacky tobaccys. A time ago, this was Typewriter Series #499. I think of things like this so often it’s bizarre. I wonder of our interconnectedness, of our ripples, of the impacts we have spreading out infinitely and enveloping all those we allow near. What a beautiful world, seven billion knots connecting seven billion souls, all of us dancing together, every time we laugh.
