So many years of waiting, of enduring, of aching. So many years...
So many years of waiting, of enduring, of aching. So many years of backs being turned on us, whispers and gossip, friendships lost, all because our love didn’t fit into a box that made sense to some. None of this matters, none of this has ever mattered. It’s been you and it’s been me, and it’s been the us we were going to make. I am proud of this love, of the strength it took to carve it out, the hope to keep it floating. Soon, a week and a day from this day, you will officially join my clan, and we will make a new one from it. The past, the things we went through, are footsteps faded and washed away by the winds of time, of distance, of our ferocious love. Forward, love, only forward will we ever look again.
