GUEST BLOGGER ALLYSON YOUNG WITH THE RIGHT THING

Please welcome my guest blogger today, Allyson Young with THE RIGHT THING

The Right Thing by Allyson Young

Release date: April 9, 2016

The Right Thing was previously released in March 2013.

Blurb:

Michael found his perfect submissive in McKenzie and has reveled in training her. She is the faultless masochist to his sadist yet Michael refuses to accept he has also fallen in love with her. He is terrified to give her his heart and makes every attempt to drive her away. When Michael threatens a course that will destroy them both, ’Kenzie accepts defeat and leaves, choosing to save him from himself. This time her deep and abiding love dictates she must lead in order to serve. Michael desperately searches for her, knowing she has nowhere to go, no one to turn to—he has come to his senses too late. Fate intervenes and he is granted another chance to proclaim what he now admits: he loves McKenzie more than life itself. All it takes is a promise to restore her trust and Michael does the right thing.

 Excerpt:

He had no memory of crossing the room or of taking his cousin by the shoulders and shaking Jenifer until her up do came down. The impact of the stiletto on his toes brought his attention back in short order.

“Where?” He didn’t recognize his voice. His one word question erupted from somewhere in the middle of his chest or a little lower, and was painfully quiet, if chock full of some kind of emotion he didn’t stop to analyze.

Jenifer actually stepped back a pace and regarded him with what looked a little like consternation. This was clearly a big learning curve for both of them.

“I’ll take you. I have no idea of the address but Gerald will drive us. I slipped out before McKenzie noticed me so she wouldn’t run again.”

He didn’t want to go with Jenifer. He wanted to go by himself and make a careful plan. But maybe this was better. He wouldn’t get too crazy if Jenifer was with him, and McKenzie might feel reassured if she saw his cousin too. He would sweep his woman up in his arms like the Prince did with Cinderella and bring her back home. That was the real royal equation. Jenifer would pat McKenzie’s hand or something and tell her it was for the best.

He was suddenly adrift on hope and, with what he hoped would be to his everlasting credit, his cock took a backseat to his heart. Nodding, he followed his cousin out of the apartment without any regard for his appearance, clambering into the limo. Gerald pulled out into traffic and despite Michael’s raving hurry, got them there in a remarkably short period of time. McKenzie was hiding in plain sight, maybe right from the day he drove her out. His heart pounded so hard he was certain the windows were vibrating in concert with the thumping and it hurt to take in a full breath. His sub was alive and he would go in and find her there and she would run to him and apologize for worrying him and he would take her home and punish her and propose to her and it would all turn out.

He blew through the door with Jenifer hard on his heels and the fantasy went to shit.

He saw her immediately. McKenzie raised her head in response to the weight of his stare, not, he was certain, as a result of the little tinkling bell over the door. He never wanted to see that look again, although knew he’d see it in his sleep for decades to come, a poignant reminder whenever he fucked up.

The blood drained from his woman’s face and even her lips looked colorless. Eyes resembling nothing less than starburst sapphires shone above the dark circles etching the fine skin beneath them, dominating her sweet face. She looked absolutely exhausted, thin, totally beautiful and horrified and his sadist didn’t respond an iota, not even when her expression turned to abject terror. Her small hands came away from the heavy iron she’d been pushing along some fabric to lift in front of her, as if to ward off evil.

Sweet lips parted and even with the cacophony of sounds in the shop he swore he could hear McKenzie suck in a gulp of air with the intensity of being administered last rites. She began to back away, body trembling, even hidden from view as it was beneath some kind of white smock.

A little Chinese woman shrieked something, breaking the spell, diving for the iron beginning to smoke against the material it rested on. The grey, curling vapor added to the bizarre affect and Michael wondered if the sprinkler system would engage and cast a further pall over the whole scenario.

The woman waved her hands frantically and distracted him for a moment. When he looked again at McKenzie she was clutching the circular rack from which all kinds of clothing hung, and he could see her white knuckles even from his position on the other side of the counter.

Pushing through the opening by the cash register, he slowly approached his terrified sub, never breaking eye contact, broken but gentle words falling from his mouth, trying to reassure McKenzie so she wouldn’t run, to ease the look on her face.

A large woman stepped between them, followed by a man a quarter of her size, presumably the other half of the woman now brandishing the iron, and Michael halted. He felt like a predator denied its prey, though a gentle, loving predator.

“McKenzie. Please.” He didn’t think he had ever pleaded with her before but would crawl through broken glass, through fire if need be. “I’d like to talk to you.”

“This the guy who fucked you up, Kenzie?” The female wrestler tossed the question over a broad shoulder in McKenzie’s direction, no doubt wanting to toss him out the door on his ass.

GUEST BLOGGER SARAH MARSH WITH OUT WITH A BANG

Today the Awesome Sarah Marsh Stops by my blog to talk about her new hot smokin' release, OUT WITH A BANG What would you do to make all your wildest fantasies come true?

Laura Harper has spent the past five years chickening out of reaching for what she truly wants, but when fate finally lays it out in front of her, will she have the courage to grab on?

Thank you so much for hosting me today to talk a little about my new release, this book started as a little short story fantasy project and I enjoyed these characters so much that I ended up writing more than I intended. How could I not with delicious characters like Grey and Barrett getting all bossy in my head? I do so love it when they get all bossy.... ;-)Out with a Bang is the first contemporary romance story I've written so naturally I took it to a place that I'd fantasized about before...the office. Although I have to admit, my previous fantasies didn't involve a ménage, but they certainly do now! I hope you enjoy these characters as much as I enjoyed writing their journey.

Blurb:

When Laura Harper walked into her interview for Dover and Harding Engineering, she never could have imagined how rewarding it could be to find a place for herself where her organizational skills were relied upon and needed so badly. Sure it didn’t hurt that the two men who had hired her were straight out of her wildest fantasies, but had she let her feelings go too far? Was it just wishful thinking that they might want her in return?            Greyson Harding and Barrett Dover knew the moment that Laura walked into their office that they’d finally found the woman they wanted to share their life with. So they began by hiring the sweet, shy woman and had hoped that they could convince her that their interest was more than a passing attraction. But after five years they’ve finally run out of time and if they aren’t careful, they could lose Laura for good.                                     out-with-a-bang-evernightpublishing-JayAheer2016-finalimage
Adult Excerpt:

Grey loved the way Laura’s eyes dilated even further at his whispered words, and when she licked her lips, he couldn’t resist any longer. He closed the distance between their mouths and kissed her finally. When her lips opened on a gasp, he pushed forward and took her mouth like he’d been imagining for all these years. It was sensual, and deep, filled with all the longing he’d been holding back. She tasted just as good as he knew she would have, like strawberries and the wine she’d had with dinner. He pulled back when Barrett let out a groan, knowing that he had to share the bounty of her soft mouth, and when he did, she moaned and tried to follow his retreat. Grey liked that. His cock was already hard enough to hurt, and the little noises of surrender coming from those sweet lips of hers made him ache even more to slide inside of her. When Barrett leaned forward and took Laura’s mouth in a desperate kiss, Grey moved his attention to the delectable body that he’d been imagining for what felt like eternity. Laura kept herself covered up, but in those sexy skirts, Grey imagining bending her over on just about every surface in the office. Truth be told, it was significantly cutting into his productivity. He thought about fucking her three quarters of the day, and knew that Barrett did the same. Ironically, without her here to keep things running smoothly, their business would have suffered. He ran his shaking hands down her sides, his thumbs barely grazing the hard nipples he could see through her dress. The dress he had bought her. He really liked the thought that she was wearing what he had chosen for her. He wondered though, what she’d picked to wear underneath it, and as he found the side zipper and slowly lowered it, his pulse was racing at the thought of all that creamy white skin that was now theirs for the taking. When he reached up and undid the clasp of the halter top around her neck, the dress slowly cascaded down her curvy body, revealing bright, red lace that made both men groan in appreciation.“You’ve been hiding this sexy body from us for too long, baby,” Barrett said with a growl. “I want to touch it all. Grey, let’s see what’s ours.”

★★★ ALISON MELLO ★★★
Alison Mello is a wife and stay at home mom to a wonderful little boy. She lives with her amazing family in Massachusetts. She loves playing soccer, basketball and football with her son.
After having her son, Alison started reading again and fell in love with Contemporary Romance. Reading made her happy and gave her something to do when she had downtime. As she started to read more, she started to noticed things she really enjoyed in a book and things she didn’t. She began to have ideas for writing one of her own. One day she literally woke up and started writing. She realized that if there was ever a time for her to write, it was now. She had a part time job to give her something to do. The hours at work were slow and she was bored with what she was doing, so while her son was off enjoying his friends over summer vacation she got started.
Alison finished the first book in two weeks and decided that she really enjoyed writing, so she kept going. She already had ideas in mind for books two and three, so she kept writing. That is how the Learning to Love Series was born. Somewhere along the line, one of my Beta readers convinced me that Michael, a character from Finding Love, needed his own story. That is when Alison added the fourth and final book. Alison hopes you enjoy her books as much as she enjoyed writing them.
She’s so glad she started this writing journey and hopes you will stay with her for the ride. Chasing Dreams is scheduled to release in April and the first two books of the Love Conquers Life series will be out this summer!LIMITLESS PUBLISHING: http://www.limitlesspublishing.net/authors/alison-mello/GOODREADS: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/14429757.Alison_MelloFACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/alisonmelloauthorWEBSITE: http://www.alisonmelloauthor.com/

GUEST BLOGGER ANDI BREMNER WITH TRINITY

Today I have Andi Bremner on my blog with TRINITY

Trinity (Moonstone Series Book 1)Written by Andi BremnerPublished by Evernight PublishingRelease Date 1st April 2016Cover and artwork by Jay Aheer with Simply Defined Art

BLURBTrinity Laker is the tough talking, sexy, lead singer for all girl rock band Moonstone. Broke, emotionally and physically damaged and sometimes homeless she doesn't have the time or energy for romance of any kind. For her, her world and her future is tied up with the band.

From the moment she steps on stage rich boy Luke Morrison is intrigued by her and knows that he has to have her, no matter what secrets he has to keep to protect both his heart and Trinity's.

ExcerptAs soon as Luke’s lips touched mine I knew I was a goner. I’d thought of little else but his lips and his kisses and the way he made my insides turn to liquid fire. I didn’t think I’d ever get a chance to feel like that again and now here he was, kissing me again.I arched against him and moved closer, sliding my hands up his shoulders and into the short strands of hair at the base of his nape. His tongue reached into my mouth and I welcomed it, kissing him deeper. Suddenly I was lifted off the seat by his strong hands at my waist, and found myself straddling his hips. Pain shot through me at his touch, my ribs still sore and tender and I winced pulling away from him.“What?” He blinked up at me. “Did I hurt you?”I shook my head and sucked in some quick breathes to get through the pain. “It’s okay. It’s nothing.”He didn’t believe me, I could see the flicker in his eyes but I distracted him by leaning in to kiss him again. It worked. I felt his hands on my back, roaming from my shoulder blades down over my buttocks where he cupped me and pushed me closer on him. I could feel his arousal through our denims and it only served to inflame me more. My whole body was trembling and I wanted him, wanted to feel him as close as I possibly could. His lips left mine and traced hot wet kisses down my throat as I arched against him, holding onto his hair, tugging it. His hands slipped beneath my shirt, tracing over my skin and leaving me burning as if his fingertips were on fire. As if I was on fire everywhere he touched me. A sound filled the air and I realized it was me. I was panting and breathless.“God, Trinity,” he murmured against my throat, “what you do to me.”

GUEST BLOGGER LILY HARLEM WITH DESK JOB

Hot New Release from Lily Harlem – DESK JOB

Hot off the press is Lily Harlem's latest ménage a trois novel based in London, Desk Job. Her London Menage set of books are taking off, the first one Muscling In has received many 5* reviews and Desk Job is set to do the same. Currently working on the third book in this series, Lily says she never believes three is a crowd, andHere’s the low down on Desk Job, which, incidentally, can be enjoyed as a standalone read, these books are only very loosely connected.
Desk Job
It’s just another PA job, right? Okay, the CEO is hot, and his partner hotter, but that doesn’t mean Stella Wright has to fall for their erotic brand of seduction. Does it?
Who is she kidding? Stella is only human, she has bills to pay and insecurities about how she looks the same as we all do. So when Andre Bramon asks her to work on more than just dictation she can’t resist.
Tristan Wainwright is a different matter. Brooding and dark, he barely has time to ask her to do anything. Then when he does finally pause, noticing her, all that pent up energy reaches a boiling point.
Before long Stella is swept up in a passionate love affair with not one man, but two. She never expected a threesome to be part of her job description, though now…well, perhaps it might prove to be the perfect solution to a whole host of her problems.

Excerpt
“I’m going to apologize in advance for this ... but I can’t help myself.” He ran his hand around the back of my neck, his fingers slotting into my hair, and pulled me closer. He pressed his lips against mine, his tongue sweeping into my mouth as he dragged me to him. I released a groan of longing. He tasted exactly how I’d imagined—dark heat and man, a hint of coffee. Releasing my grip on the chair, I grasped his shoulders. Beneath his cotton shirt was hard muscle. Damn, why was that shirt in the way? He moaned into my mouth as he stroked over the top of my stockings, tracing the lace with his fingertips. He kissed with the same skill and intensity as he approached his work. I surrendered to it. Allowed him to whisk me up into a heady soup of lust. Could we? Here? Fuck. What am I doing? I tore my lips from his. He didn’t stop kissing me and traveled his lips over my cheek to my neck. “Tristan.” “Mmm, Stella. You’re so sexy. You’ve got me crazy for you. All week ... how you look, talk, hell the way you walk...” “No…” What about Andre? “But.” “No, buts. Please, no buts.” He cupped my cheek and looked into my eyes. “I’m sorry.” I pushed at his shoulders and tore my gaze from his. “I can’t.” He tugged his hand free of my skirt and stood, releasing me. A flash of disappointment went over his face and I couldn’t help noticing a large bulge behind his zipper. “Forgive me.” I stood, and in a strange, limping gate, rushed to the ladies’ restroom. I pushed through the door, then stood at the sink, staring into the mirror at my smudged lipstick. My mind was swimming. What the hell was going on with me? I was a one-man woman. I never cheated. I didn’t two-time. That wasn’t who I was. But Andre and I were hardly in a relationship. We’d had a night of fun. We were going for lunch tomorrow. It was the start of something.
But I wanted to start something with Tristan too.
I liked him, more than liked him. I wanted him. I wanted his body, I wanted his mind, I wanted the special smiles that he seemed to save just for me. “Stella. Please, come out.” I glanced at the door. Tristan had opened it a fraction, though I couldn’t see him and he couldn’t see me because it opened in the opposite direction. I didn’t answer.“I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me.”“It’s not your fault.” I reached for a tissue and tidied my  smudged lipstick.“Clearly it is. Please, come out here and let’s talk this through. I can explain.” “Explain?” “Yes.” I ran the cold water and put my wrists under the flow. It was as if a fire were burning inside of me. “I promise you, Stella, there really is no reason to be so upset.” “How do you know?”“I just do.”
I turned off the water. He knew nothing.“Please ... otherwise I’ll come in there and get you.”I didn’t doubt it.I went to the door. As I reached it, my broken shoe emerged around the small opening. The heel appeared reattached.“I fixed it.” “That was quick.”“I’m known for efficiency.”Of course he is.
I took it and, with one palm placed on the wall, slipped the  shoe back on.“It probably won’t hold for long. But it will get you home,” he said.I opened the door fully.Tristan had one hand against the frame, his elbow locked. When he saw me, he released it and straightened. “Thank you.” I stepped past him. “For fixing my shoe.” “Stella, let me explain.” He gripped my upper arm and spun me to him, not roughly but not completely gently either. My breath hitched as I looked into his earnest face. “There is nothing to explain, Tristan. I like you, really I do...” And yes, given the chance I’d roll into bed with him in a heartbeat. He was someone I wanted to get to know better in every sense of the word, much better. “But I’m seeing someone.” His eyebrows twitched, then he nodded. “I know.” “How ... But...?” “Andre.” He kind of shrugged then released my arm. “It’s not a big deal.” “How can it not be a big deal? He’s your business partner.” Damn, had Andre told him everything, the way I’d wondered if he had? “He’s more than a business partner. He’s my best friend. We’ve been through the good and the bad times together and you...” “Me?”“We’d definitely like you to be the good times.”“I’m not following...” I patted my hair, it was messy at the back from where he’d ran his fingers through it. “Why did you kiss me if you knew I was seeing Andre?” “Because I know he won’t mind, not in the least.” “How do you know that?” Most blokes I knew would mind very much if another guy kissed the girl they were seeing. “Is he missing the jealousy gene?” Tristan gave a twisted smile. “Oh no. I can’t imagine he’d want anyone else touching you, kissing you, but me ... well that’s different.” “How? Because you’re friends, because you’re close?”“That and...”“And what?”“Well...” He shifted from one foot to the other. “We decided a while ago that we needed a personal assistant to share, one person who understood what the other was doing so that our diaries and commitments didn’t clash.” I nodded. I understood that.“And we also decided...” He hesitated.I wondered what the hell he was going to say next. I hadn’t known Tristan to be anything other than super confident but he was standing before me now, slowly gathering words. “What did you decide?” “That not only do we want to share a PA, we also want to share a woman.”

GUEST BLOGGER ROSE WULF WITH WET

Please welcome my guest blogger today, Rose Wulf with WET.

Hello! Thank you so much for having me today!
I’m super thrilled to share with you my latest release, Wet (Elemental 1)! Wet is the first in a five-book paranormal romance series. My Elemental series is a re-release after some noteworthy revisions and scene additions – so even if you read the previous version of Elemental 1, this one will have some new surprises for you! Without further ado, I present, Wet!

Blurb:
Blake Hawke, first born of the four Hawke brothers, has the ability to control water.
Keeping the family secret is a big deal. A deal Blake all but throws out the window when he finds Brooke sitting alone on the beach. Before he knows it he’s showing her everything he can do – until he gets the call that his baby sister is trapped between an impossible fire and a cliff.
Brooke has barely come to terms with the fact that she’s got the hots for a real-life Aquaman when news breaks that they have serious enemies. Now she’s got a guy to win, a secret to keep, and weather-controlling enemies to look out for. The last thing she needs is to add some creepy stalker to the list.
Can Blake protect his family and the woman he’s falling in love with from an enemy he never knew he had?

Excerpt:
It was all she could do to keep from jogging to the shore when she spotted him, sitting on the edge of the tide with his feet in the water. As she drew nearer, she slowed, taking in the sight of him with his elbows resting on raised knees and his chin cradled between his linked thumbs and index fingers. It was a thoughtful, reflective position. Sobering. She almost felt bad for some of the thoughts that had been swimming around in her head a moment ago. Almost.“Hey.” Brooke settled next to him on the sand. She kept her feet curled up and out to the side at her knees so as to keep her shoes from getting wet.Blake turned his attention to her, his posture relaxing as a smile lifted his lips. “Hey, thanks for meeting me.”She returned his smile. “So what did you want to talk about? Did something else happen?”“No. I just thought maybe we should talk one-on-one, you know, after you’d had a chance to sleep on everything.” He paused and studied her, looking for something. Whether or not he found it, Brooke had no idea. “How are you handling all that?”Releasing a breath, Brooke said, “Me? I’m handling it okay. I mean, for me it’s more surreal and startling to learn about the existence of people with powers like yours. I’m not being targeted, remember? So it’s only scary in the abstract.”Blake arched a brow at her choice of words. “Abstract, huh? And how’s that?”Brooke allowed her smile to feel a little flirtatious as she leaned forward and brushed her fingertips along his cheekbone. “I don’t want anything to happen to you is all,” she whispered.Blake swallowed and the tide rolled in a little higher, just barely brushing her knees. Then he’d threaded his fingers into her hair and crushed his lips to hers, his other arm winding around her waist to hold her in place. It was all she could do to swallow the moan in her throat as she kissed him back. His hair was soft over her fingers when her hands slipped behind his head, and his tongue was hot in her mouth when her lips parted. She’d nearly forgotten how good he tasted. She could’ve sworn she purred as his tongue stroked hers, desire burning low and hot in her belly. It was such a contrast to the cold water that continued to tease her knees. Blake’s fingers dipped beneath her lightweight sweater, his soft touch teasing her skin and finally pulling free the moan she’d been fighting. He sucked on her tongue, putting more weight into his touch, until his thumb found the right spot to have her arching into him.He released her lips as her breasts pressed firmly into his chest, trailing his kiss down the side of her throat. She held onto him, moaning again as he shifted to cradle her body more properly against his.“Blake,” she breathed as his tongue danced around the hollow at the base of her throat. He rumbled and lowered his head, tongue and lips sliding to her collar bone and down to the line of her scoop-neck sweater. And oh, how she wanted him to keep going. To tear off her clothes and kiss the rest of her aching body with the same tender hunger he was bestowing to her collar and neck. How she wanted to feel his heady touch in private places. Brooke doubted she’d ever been so immediately hungry for a man.Blake made a sort of groaning sound and removed his lips from her skin. “God, you’re distracting.”“That’s a bad thing?”He grinned. “Not really. I just feel like there’s more that should be said first.”“And you can’t talk while you’re kissing me.” Her words were resigned, because she knew he was right. She just didn’t want him to be.“Exactly.”Looping her arms loosely around his shoulders and making no move to otherwise adjust herself, Brooke said, “So talk. What’s on your mind?”The question was ridiculous, of course. She knew what was on his mind in more ways than one. She just suspected she hadn’t properly absorbed it all yet. There was still some sort of surreal distance between her sense of reality and the ideas the Hawke family had discussed the day before. People who can throw lightning. Really? But then again, the man she was currently embracing could become water—she’d seen it herself. So was the rest really so far out there?Blake released a breath and pulled her in enough to rest his head on her shoulders. “Everything, I guess,” he admitted. “I really want my uncle to be crazy, but … that’s not his style. He’s a realist, even if his ‘realism’ sounds impossible.”“And you’re worried,” Brooke guessed gently, her fingers weaving through his hair and massaging his scalp in an attempt to comfort him.“Yeah.”“Blake, that’s natural,” she said. “They’re your family, and you just found out you might have enemies who can generate your kryptonite at will. That’s heavy.” As she said it, she realized she was exactly right. She could only imagine how terrifying that would be for him and his brothers. To go from knowing they had more power than the people around them—knowing they were stronger—to learning they had invisible enemies designed specifically to hurt them. Although that might be over-simplifying…Blake straightened after a moment, taking his time dragging his gaze up to hers. “I know. And I swear I really did want to make sure you were okay, all things considered.” He paused and brushed his lips lightly over hers again. “But it’s possible I was also hoping for a distraction.”Swallowing a schoolgirl giggle, Brooke raised exaggeratedly dramatic eyebrows at him. “Weren’t you just complaining about that?”“I was confused,” Blake insisted, sliding the hand still beneath her sweater a little higher. “I understand now.”“Understand what?” she challenged, fighting her natural response to his touch.Blake met her challenge with a confident grin and caught her mouth in another hot, demanding kiss.

GUEST BLOGGER GALE STANLEY WITH THE STABLEBOY

Please welcome my guest blogger, Gale Stanley with THE STABLEBOY.

The StableboyScenes From The Underground 3Evernight PublishingCoverArt - Jay AheerGenre - MM RomanceBlurb
Perry thought he hit rock bottom when he went from reality TV star to prison inmate. Then the warden gave him a choice—stay in prison or be part of a new rehabilitation program. It was an easy choice, but nothing comes easy, and Perry soon learns the truth.

Instead of enforcing the law, Police Chief Arthur Wright and a group of dirty cops set up a stable of porn stars, and they’re staffing it with talent handpicked from the prison. Perry does what he has to, in order to survive, but when he mouths off to the sadistic cop who’s training him, he discovers there are worse things than making dirty movies.

Teaser
Meathead put his hand over mine to steady it and gave me a refill. “You’re supposed to sip it.”
“Right.” I took a little sip and narrowed my eyes at him. “I thought you were a health freak.”
He grinned at me. “I’ll cop to the freak part.”
I grinned back. Chalk one up for the cop. He actually made me smile.
“Get in the tub.”
“Yes, master.” Holding my wine carefully, I climbed into the tub and slid under the hot water. I couldn’t remember the last time I had a bath. It felt like the height of luxury. I didn’t know how to deal with it, so I resorted to sarcasm. “If you’re trying to seduce me, you should have lit candles. Maybe some music—”
“Cut out the bullshit.”
“Yes, sir.” I did my little mouth zip pantomime.
Meathead started to take his clothes off.
Hah! Liar, liar, pants on fire. You do want to fuck me.
Suddenly, my nerves kicked in. I had a busy day. What if I couldn’t perform?
I was already on Wright’s shit list. I didn’t need another bad report card. My fear lessened as Meathead revealed more of his body. He was incredibly hot. Almost too handsome, he took my breath away. I wanted to lick the sexy smattering of dark hair between his chiseled pecs. When he pulled his boxers down, a fat cut cock sprung out from his neatly trimmed bush. I tried not to stare. He didn’t need the ego trip. Still, nothing beat the sight of a long, stiff cock. Knowing it was hard for me made it even better. He might not respect me but he couldn’t deny he wanted me. GUEST BLOGGER JR GRAY WITH CLOUDED HELL

Please welcome my gust blogger today, JR Gray with Clouded Hell.

About Clouded Hell
I survive on avoidance. Physical pain to avoid the mental. Disposable flesh to avoid relationships. Work to avoid attachment. My club became my empire of avoidance. Inside the ring millions are won and lost. The fight is confined to breaths, actions and reactions, fists and pain. Rules don’t exist. Only my opponent exists.
I’d been avoiding my needs for far too long when Remi stumbles into the Inferno and I’m hungry. The promise of a submissive with no attachment is far too tempting. I can’t resist him. He was only supposed to be a distraction, but I know I'll never get over him. There isn't a chance in this clouded hell.

Teaser One:
If I hadn't seen the video of the fight, I wouldn't have believed it. I clicked the button on my laptop to rewind it, to see the way his body moved. I gripped myself through my shorts and glanced over at Kai. He was busy inking a full back piece, and I doubted he'd even take a break for another hour. He couldn't see me from where I sat. It would be so easy. I trailed my fingers over the places Dante had left marks. I could almost taste them, even if the bruises had faded. I'd looked at them in the mirror over my bed and fucked my hand every night since I'd left. I groaned as I slipped my hand into my shorts. I squeezed my shaft, digging my nails into the sensitive skin. I had to bite back a hiss of pain. Kai could easily walk out and see me. The rooms in the shop were three-quarter walls to divide the space with wide open doorways. Maybe I wanted to be caught. I kicked my feet out, watching a bead of sweat drip down Dante's neck. When he threw a punch his muscles tightened, and it took me back to him swinging his belt. The sound of his fist hitting flesh was close, so close, to the way the leather sounded against mine. I shouldn't be imagining him touching me, but it was impossible not to. I wanted his hands on me. I wanted him to mark me with them. I was hit with the sudden realization he'd been acting when he was in the ring with me. He hadn't even gone at half speed. He was a monster when he fought. It took every ounce of self-control I had to keep from getting up and into my Jeep to drive to the airport. I used my free hand to unbutton my shorts and slide down my zipper, freeing my cock.
Teaser 2:  “It's fucking hell being with you. Has anyone ever told you that?" His grin broadened. "The whole world is hell, doll. At least with me you get a reprieve from the sun." "So this is hell at night?" "I like to think of it as Clouded Hell. One of the rare cool days you've got to hold on to when everything else won't quit." He lifted his hand again, and instead of smacking me like I expected, he cupped my cheek and brought his forehead to mine. I fucking melted, right there in his inner circle of hell, and I wouldn't have changed it.

About J.R. Gray

When not staying up all night writing, J.R. Gray can be found at the gym where it's half assumed he is a permanent resident to fulfill his self-inflicted masochism. A dominant and a pilot, Gray finds it hard to be in the passenger seat of any car. He frequently interrupts real life, including normal sleep patterns and conversations, to jot down notes or plot bunnies. Commas are the bane of his existence even though it's been fully acknowledged they are necessary, they continue to baffle and bewilder. If Gray wasn't writing…well, that's not possible. The buildup of untold stories would haunt Gray into an early grave, insanity or both. The idea of haunting has always appealed to him. J.R. Gray is genderqueer and prefers he/him pronouns.

The story…TEASER:

Forgetting all of his training and everything he should have done next to ensure the safety of his team, Devonran forward, dropping to his knees beside the prone figure. “Oh, shit, Finn.” There was no missing the fear in his voice. With hands that shook, he checked for a pulse and breathed a sigh of relief at the rhythmic thumps he felt against his fingers.     As gently as he could, Devon rolled Finn onto his back, and his breath caught at the sight of swelling and bruising around his left eye. “Jesus Christ, Finn, what the hell happened?” Devon ran his hands over his skull, searching for any contusions or swelling that could indicate a head injury or concussion. He breathed a sigh of relief when he found nothing.     Finn moaned, and his eyes fluttered open, and not for the first time, Devon found himself drowning in his beautiful green eyes and wondering why in the hell Finn was in the house. “Dev?” Finn asked in a weak voice. An ache settled in his chest. He had heard that voice in his dreams on so many nights, but hearing it now, weak with pain rather than passion, just about killed him.     “Yeah, Finn, it’s me,” Dev answered as he swept a lock of Finn’s dark hair from his forehead. “Where else does it hurt, baby? I want to get you up onto the bed so Sam can get a look, but I don’t want to hurt you.” A flash of hurt that Devon knew had nothing to do with his injuries flickered in Finn’s eyes before his anger apparently rose to mask it.     “It’s none of your concern where the pain is, and I sure as hell am not your baby,” Finn said, sneering the last word and Devon nodded. He understood Finn’s anger and accepted it to a point.     “LT, Sam’s headed out to your truck to grab his med kit,” Marcel said from the door. “You need any help getting Finn up onto the bed?”     Devon looked in earnest at Finn whose eyes narrowed, attempting to read his mood. “No, Marcel, I do not need any help getting Finn into bed. I can do that all on my own,” he said with a bit of humor.     Finn growled over the guys’ laughter in the background. “Get the hell away from me, Devon Roberts, I can make it to the bed myself.” Finn gritted his teeth and rolled to his side, a groan of pain caused any humor on Dev’s part to evaporate. Frowning, Devon swiftly swept Finn up and into his arms, wincing at his quick inhalation of breath.     Devon moved swiftly to the bed, waiting while Marcel removed the dust cloth, then laid Finn down on the quilt, absently noting that it was the same damn one he had used all those years ago. “Stop it!” Devon ordered as Finn started to struggle to stand. “Stay there, Finn, and let Sam have a look at you.” Sam put his med kit on the bed and opened it, but Finn kept trying to stand. Devon reached out a hand and gently gripped his chin, tilting Finn’s face up so that their gazes locked together.     “I mean it, Finn. Stop trying to move around, and let Sam have a look at you. Once we have you all squared away, you are going to tell me what the fuck happened.” A red hue rose up Finn’s face and his gaze slid away, but Devon gently turned his face so Finn had no choice but to look at him once more. “You are going to tell me who did this to you, Finn. I know what being beaten looks like, and you will tell me who turned their fists on you.”     “What do you care, Dev?” Finn’s expression turned bleak and he kept his voice low, obviously uncomfortable with the attention, and Devon’s heart ached even more. “You’ve had eight years to pick up the phone and see how I was doing. Now, last time I checked my cell phone, I hadn’t missed any calls so I figure you didn’t really give a shit. So why bother now?”© MAIA DYLAN, EVERNIGHT PUBLISHING, 2016

Five questions for the author Q: Every book is special to an author.  What is it about this book that makes it special for you?A:  This is my first MM.  I have loved this genre from the first time I read Stormy Glenn, Sam Crescent and Cree Storm.  There is something about the powerful expressions and imagery you can create with the scenes are between two male characters, especially the hot scenes!
Q:  Sometimes things happen when you are writing a series that wasn’t expected at all.  Have you had this happen to you?A:  Heaps!  I am not a planner.  I am a write-by-the-set-of-your-panties kinda girl.  There have been moments where I will finish up a scene and be like WTF?  I did not see that coming!  This whole series started with an image I found that I simply couldn’t let go of.
Q.  Why do you always include a danger element to your books?A.  I write what I love to read.  I love books that take you on a journey, but where the characters face a challenge that adds an element of urgency to them and to the book.  As a reader, there is nothing I like more than getting that goose bump, hair rising on the back of my neck feeling as I join the characters within the book I am reading on the journey to solve their mystery.  I want to give that to my readers.
Q.  What are you working on at the moment?A.  I have book eight of the Grey River series over half way, as well as book two in the Sniper Team Bravo series.  There is also a new Shifter Ménage series coming soon and a standalone MM as well.  Soooo many stories to tell, so little time!
Q.  Do you have anything to say to your current readers or to those that haven’t yet read you work?A.  If you have read any of my books, thank you so very much!  It blows my mind that someone has actually read something that I wrote, but gosh I hope you enjoyed it!  Did you?  Please let me know, I find I suffer from a slight case of needy-nelly with my writing.  If you haven’t read my book, but you love erotic romance stories between strong men and an independent woman, where the path to their happily ever after can be a bumpy one, but there is always a happily ever after, and their love and laugher is real on every page, then you’ll find my books right up your alley!

Author bio:Maia Dylan lives, loves and works in beautiful New Zealand.  She married her best friend and they have two adorable, but stubborn children who obviously take after their father.  Maia’s career has featured a lot of travel, and she has filled her time at airports and in the air with books, books and more books.  Her love of erotic paranormal romance has seen her amass a huge library.  She has been an avid reader and lover of ménage romances since she read her first book in this genre about three years ago.Outside of writing, Maia loves to eat, so she loves to cook!  Her herb garden is legendary, but she still has issues getting tomatoes to grow.  She’s been a performer for years, and has even sung on international stages, she would love to own a classic Ford Mustang one day and of course have the opportunity to race it on a race track without fear of a speeding ticket.Although ultimately her dream is to be able to write full time on a sandy beach with a Mai Tai at hand, she is quite happy to fit her writing in when she can.  As long as someone reads her books, gets a laugh and maybe come to love her characters and much as she does, then she feels that she is living her dreams no matter what!Social Media LinksAmazon Authors Page US: http://amazon.com/author/maiadylanFacebook- https://www.facebook.com/maiadylanauthorStreet Team FB Page - https://www.facebook.com/groups/955387561187276/Goodreads - https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/13724210.Maia_DylanTwitter - https://www.twitter.com/MaiadylanauthorWebsite – http://www.maiadylan.com Blog - http://www.maiadylan.com/#!blog/c112vNewsletter sign up link:  http://www.maiadylan.com/#!contact/c1kcz

Meeting the woman who was meant to be his was never even a consideration for him, not until Vivian crosses paths with him at the scene of a murder.

The danger is growing around them, and with the fate of his woman on the line this Argonaut will do whatever is needed to keep her protected.

This is a previously published work. It has been revised and edited for Evernight PublishingProtected-evernightpublishing-JayAheer2016-finalimage

Excerpt - G Rated -
Dropping his carry-on at his feet, Jason stretched his arms over his head. The flight into Seattle had been damn long. They’d had to make an impromptu landing when one of the passengers had gotten out of hand. Then there was a wait while the local police had pried him and his pissed off wife from the plane.
There’d been further delay when a storm had blown in, leaving them sitting on a runway for another three hours. Finally, they’d made it into the air during a break in the squall and were back on their way.
It had been a very long day in the air and on the ground. He was where he needed to be, though. Now all he had to do was find James so they could get their behinds moving. Which, knowing the cowboy as he did, the other man would likely be in the nearest bar. Grabbing his bag, he scoped out the area and spotted the one that would call to the Wild West gunman.
Too easy. Rolling his eyes, Jason slung the duffel over his shoulder and made his way to the tavern. Inside, he spotted James easily. The man was holding court with a gaggle of women, who were all drooling over his authentic accent. Why Mercury had thought putting the two of them together on a mission was a good idea, he’d never figure out.
Reaching the table, he dropped his luggage again. “James.”
“Jason!” James popped to his feet and came around to hug Jason, pounding his back. “Good of you to join us. Ladies, this is Jason. Jase, these are the ladies. They’ve been keeping me company while I waited for your flight. I heard ya’ll had a bit of trouble, got stuck through a bit of a storm. Bad luck, that.”
“Yeah, to say the least.” Jason gave a slight bow to the women. “Which means we really should get going, James. We have a job to do, and I’m sure you’ve had more than your fair share of drinking already today.”
“Right, true enough,” James said with a nod. “Sorry, ladies, but the man has a point. So, if ya’ll want to give me your numbers, I’ll call each and every one of ya’ll as soon as I can.” He leaned over and grinned at a blonde. “Especially you, sugar.” He handed off his phone and collected from all six.
When he had gotten his cell back, plus a few kisses, they paid his tab and went to collect the rental car. Passing James the folder from Mercury, Jason settled behind the wheel and got them moving.
“Shit, this here’s rather thin,” James said.
“I know. There’s not a lot to go on. A few really old cases that may or may not be related, and then the two newest ones. I don’t have a clue if this is anything more than a wild goose chase.”
“Damn,” James breathed. “Well, I guess all we can really do is check them out and see if it was human killings, or if it was more. Really wish these assholes would leave us calling cards. Be so much easier in the long run.”
“Yeah, just what we need. The evil ones leaving calling cards at their murders. Then we’d have the feds on each of the cases, looking for a serial killer that apparently hops from one end of the country to the other and back again. Somehow, I don’t see that as something that would work out well for us.”
“No, I guess not,” James muttered. “So, which one do we want to look at first?”
“Given where we are, we’ll look at the scene that was out north of Jefferson Park Golf Club. It’s the closest,” Jason answered. “After that, we’ll head to the one that happened in the Lower Queen Anne district. I doubt there will be much left after all this time, but you never know.” They could get lucky, though he didn’t hold out much hope for that. It hadn’t done him a lot of good over the years.
Twenty minutes later, they were studying the scene a block north and slightly east of the golf club. As he’d surmised, there wasn’t a lot left beyond some scraggly pieces of police tape and stains on the concrete.
But Jason wasn’t really interested in the scene itself. It was what was around that counted. Moving to where the body had been found, he turned his back. He wanted to know what the victim, a young woman by the name of Katy, had seen in her last moments.
It wasn’t a horrible area, not by a long shot. A little wear and tear, but nothing that jumped out and screamed “worst neighborhood on the planet.” There was some graffiti, but again, nothing that stated they were in gang territory, or a place most folks wouldn’t enter in the middle of the afternoon, let alone after dark.
For all intents and purposes, it was an average area, in an average American city, with nothing to make it stand out. Except for one thing. “We need to get Helen to pull the video feed from the night of the murder.”
“Wouldn’t the police have done that already?” James asked him.
“Possibly, likely even,” Jason said. “They’re not us, though, and they may not see what we will. Most humans don’t want to acknowledge the strange and unusual. Their minds automatically cover it up, and they play it off as a trick of the light, a shadow, or something else that allows them to sleep at night.”
“Good point.” His partner nodded. “Well, we might as well head to the next scene. Maybe there will be video around there, too.”
Jason was hoping so on the drive into Lower Queen Anne. They needed a break on the case, if there really was one. Reaching the corner of West Republican Street and Second Avenue, they found a parking spot. Jason climbed out of the SUV and looked around. Apparently, luck was on their side this time. “We have cameras,” he announced.
James nodded. “So I see. I’ll call Helen and get her to do her thing. Be nice to know if we’re just dealing with a regular old killer or a monster. Not that a regular killer is all that great, but it’s a hell of a lot better than the alternative.”
While James made the call back to the Mountain, Jason headed for the alley between buildings, where the murder had occurred. Ten feet in, he stopped. The police tape that remained was in slightly better condition than at the last spot. Turning, he gazed up at the buildings on each side.
A lot of windows, but given what was in each building and the time of night the young man, Vern, had been killed, there wouldn’t have been witnesses. Unfortunately, he didn’t think the video would be all that helpful, either, given where the cameras were located.
Walking back out to the street, he headed for the truck and James. The cowboy was off the phone and lounging back against the bumper, checking out women as they went past.
“Tell me you’re not checking out women on the street?”
“All right, I’ll tell you I’m not checking out women on the street,” James answered. “Even though they are damn fine.” He nodded to another one, receiving a smile in return.
“Anyone ever mention you are—what is that quaint saying? Ah yes … you are a dog,” Jason said.
“Woof.” James grinned at him. “We done here?”
“Yes, there’s nothing to see. We’ll need to hope we get some video. Did you contact Helen?”
“She’ll be pulling it as soon as she can. She said she had to find it first but will call as soon as she has something for us.”
“Good,” Jason said. “We might as well go to our hotel. I doubt we’ll get anything from her today, and I’m starving. They didn’t even have those little pouches of peanuts on the flight.”
“That’s because everyone’s all paranoid by the rise in allergies. They ditched the peanuts off flights, banned peanut butter from schools, and are coddling everyone. Too many people have turned into pansies. It’s deplorable,” James muttered with a sneer.
Jason wasn’t about to argue with him. Climbing into the truck, he put it in gear and got them moving toward their hotel. Food, a shower, and then sleep. In that order.
