I'm a Canadian author recently moved to Medicine Hat, Alberta from British Columbia. It's a nice little town, very hot in the summer. For the first time I've managed to grow a fantastic small garden. I write romantic suspense, and some medical thrillers.

Heading up the outside stairs to our room a man pulled a gun on my husband and asked for his money. I threw a beer I was carrying into his face, screamed, and ran. The man ran off. I figured I could put that in a book one day.(less)

I write contemporary so I'm more into the present world, but I think I'd say the 2060's from the JD Robb books. It's not that futuristic. I can still relate but it's very cool stuff and does relate back to the present world. And it's set in New York city which is a city I love to visit.(less)
