Born

August 17, 1966

Paul Wesley Chambers is a political scientist. He is known for his research into the role of the Thai military in the politics of Thailand. He is also known for having been arrested and charged with lèse-majesté by Thai authorities in April 2025.

Chambers received his two B.A. degrees in Letters and Spanish from the University of Oklahoma, his two M.A. degrees in Political Science and International Affairs from Ohio University, and his Ph.D. in Political Science from Northern Illinois University.
