******IMITATION BLOG TOUR******
Today is my part in Heather Hildenbrands Blog Tour forImitation!!!A wee review ;)Author InterviewAnd a GIVEAWAY for a necklace designed for Imitation!
Everyone is exactly like me.
There is no one like me.
The rough fabric of my cotton nightgown chafes so I lie very still. They say my discomfort comes from being built like one accustomed to niceties. How is that fair when I myself have never experienced anything but copies of the real thing?
My entire life is an imitation.
I am an Imitation.
I’ve been here five years. Training. Preparing. Waiting.
And now I have a letter.
My assignment has begun.
I am a prisoner.
I am not Raven Rogen.
I am here to die.
The reason why that is the way it is is because there's so much in the story, and to the story, that to reveal much about the story would lead people to miss out on a lot of what-the-ef moments (and this book is chalked full of them).
Besides, who likes a spoil sport?
So, I've decided to do a wee bit of a review, just to give you guys an insiders scoop to the book (warning: its not the full review, that will come at a later time)
This is futuristic. If you have the money and the influence, you'll get an 'imitation' of yourself. Basically a clone. They are raised away from society and few know of their existence (including some of the people that have clones of themselves). Ven is the MC, she's also an imitation. She's taken from her secluded life with the other imitations and thrust into the life of whom she was made for... only thing is is that she's tasting her taste of 'life' because they need her, the imitation, to draw out the people who are trying to kill the REAL Raven Rogen... *cue the creepy music*... but she soon discovers that not everything is as it seems, and she'll have to make a choice that will either benefit imitations like her, or destroy everything society has worked so hard for. So lots of action, mystery, suspense AND a really really swoon worthy romance
Interview
1) How did you come up with the idea of Imitation?Heather: I was wandering through my local library one day with my son -- he LOVES the non-fiction section. Mostly books about animals but his curiosity is broad, like mine--and came across a book/section about clones. I was immediately intrigued and thought, "wouldn't that make an awesome concept for a story?" And then I thought how cool it would be if the main character WAS the clone, because how do you root for someone that isn't even real? It was a challenge of sorts. And I can't pass up a challenge. ;)
2) When you wrote imitation, did you think about the sociological awakening that it would have in its readers?
Heather: Ummm, no, I just thought it sounded cool. #deepthoughts
3) When you started the story line for Imitation, what key points/feelings did you want to get across to the readers?
Heather: Ven's initial feeling of resignation to a life she didn't choose and then the temptation for hopelessness she struggles with. She wonders what she has to live for and why bother trying to preserve her life. She has to look for reasons to want to live. And she finds them in the little things, at first, which lead to a bigger purpose. I love that. Sometimes, it's the little things that matter A LOT.
4)To me, Imitation lays a great deal of emphasis on human depravity and greed. would you agree? And why.
Heather: YES. I think there is a large part of the world now that is the same way. It may be more extreme in Imitation but it's based on a real sense of the world NOW. If we had more of an attitude of "sharing" instead of "take, take, take" I think poverty wouldn't be such an issue. At least, not on the scale it exists today.
5) What, to you, is the psychological turmoil for the Imitations when they're sent to replace their humans?
Heather: Knowing that no matter what they do, whether they are successful in their mission or not, they will be terminated in the end. With a fate like that, why even bother trying to live? I think it would be devastatingly hopeless to know nothing you do will ever really make a difference.
6) What can we look forward to with the continuation of the series?
Heather: Ven's growing sense of purpose. Her secret dream is to be human. Her secret goal is to leave a mark, make a difference--something that will last after she's gone. At the end of book 1, you see that start to take shape for her. It will grow bigger in book 2. She will start to find herself.
And Now, Ze Giveaway! Up for grabs isTHIS!
Isn't it pretty? This necklace was influenced by Imitation ;) The Giveaway will last UNTIL Friday at Midnight! a Rafflecopter giveaway

A WEEK OF QUINN DAY SEVEN!!
Its the LAST day!!!Are you still alive after all that awesomeness??? ;) Today is a review for Quinn's first book in her new series, Elfin!
Before tonight Cassie Tate’s biggest concerns were whether she could pass Algebra and how she was going to keep Elora, her best friend, from dressing her in a skimpy fairy costume for Halloween. Her feet were firmly planted in suburban reality and she had no reason to believe her life would be anything but that of a typical teenager. That is until tonight, when Cassie saw something that no human was ever supposed to see; in the blink of an eye she was thrown into the world of the Light and Dark Elves.
He comes from a realm where light and dark have fought for millennia. He is of a race known to humans only in myths and legends. The darkness that lives inside him is a part of both who and what he is and it makes him the most gifted spy and assassin in the history of his time. His life is not his own; he lives in the service of the Dark Elf King. He slays who he must, has mercy on no one, is relentless in his hunt, and never tires of seeing his prey fall. He is Triktapic, assassin, spy, most feared of the Dark Elves.
Now, in the midst of his King’s complicated plans to expand the Dark Elves’ holdings into the mortal realm, for the first time, Trik finds his loyalties divided. For no Elf, Dark or Light, can turn away from their Chosen.
Unbeknownst to the mortal realm, the battle between Light and Dark is being brought to their doorstep. The only one who can keep it at bay holds darkness in his heart like a lover, and the one who can sway that heart must decide if she can look beyond his black past, beyond his evil nature and see the man he is destined to be.
The questions must be asked, does love really cover a multitude of sins? Can true love actually conquer all or will his darkness consume those around him until all that stands is an assassin with the blood of the mortal realm on his hands?
Do you know what I have to say about this series?
If you're thinking along the lines of 'oh my flipping monkeys' then you would be correct!
*ding* we have a winner!
Okay, so in Elfin, we're entered into a world that is like ours, but different.
How is it different? Think about realm of the fae on a different plane that can come and go into the human realm at will.
Yup, THAT different.
Now, unlike a lot of Elf/Fairy/Fairy Tale books that are supremely annoying and all bubbly joy joy goodness, Elfin, to me, takes a dark look onto the Fae. Making them either the envisionment of the good in people, or the wicked.
They're not perfect, even if they are perfectly beautiful, and it lends a whole 'human' aspect to their personalities that is really refreshing.
Don't get me wrong, they're not just humans with pointy ears. Quinn makes her Elfin in a way that still holds all the tales of the fae true (and not the Disney version. If you don't know any dark stories about the fae, then you don't know the fae), but at the same time still hold a flame of hope and the ability to change within them that makes them appear human.
Confused? Well, sorry about that! lol
Elfin is an action-packed, emotionally turmoils, slap yo momma from all the what-the-ef-ery type of book!
You'll be thrown into a beautifully described world, hurt along with the characters, love, bleed, and feel betrayed.
You will want to jump into the fray to save the characters you've fallen for. You'll want to slap them, hug them, laugh with them, cuss them out and cry with them.
Why? Because they're perfectly imperfect.
Now, don't forget that this is the LAST DAY to enter into the Giveaway! If there's some entries that you haven't done yet, then I suggest you do!

A WEEK OF QUINN DAY SIX!!!
Welcome to Day Six of the Week of Quinn!
Its the last leg of the race!
Today is the review for Quinn's latest book in the Grey Wolves Series, Fate and Fury!
The last few days have been the darkest of Sally’s life. After experiencing the joy of finding her mate, she now suffers the pain of losing everything she holds dear. Both the Romanian and Serbian packs have been captured, ripping Sally’s soul mate away from her almost as soon as she had found him. Her best friend and the emotional glue that usually holds Sally together, Jacque Pierce, lies writhing in a restless coma, having been put down by Desdemona’s dark magic. Jennifer Adams, the unshakable one, has revealed to her friends and her mate that she is pregnant, but the Fates have marked her unborn baby for death. Though she rails against the darkness, deep inside Jen knows that Decebel’s baby must die as payment for her own life, and the knowledge is tearing her soul to pieces. Cypher, King of the Warlocks, has claimed Jacque’s mother as his mate and agreed to help Desdemona open a door that would release a horde of demons from beyond the Veil.
Though her world is crashing down around her, Sally holds out hope. The Great Luna is not sitting idly by. She has commanded the Fey council to call upon the packs—all of them. And though Cypher looks for a way to open the Veil for Desdemona, he struggles to protect Lilly and the wolves at the same time. Peri, the ever-courageous High Fae, and a contingent of the remaining females of the Romanian and Serbian packs, push on through the rough Carpathian Mountains. Though they are bound to the human realm, they continue to search for a way to cross over to the land of the Fey. Meanwhile, in reluctant obedience to the Great Luna, the Fey council sends representatives to the far corners of the globe, meeting with the pack Alphas. The Fey must convince the Alphas of every pack to lay aside their petty territorial squabbles and battles of dominance. If they refuse, both the humans and the supernatural races will fall at Mona’s feet.
Sally holds to a shred of hope. Though Vasile, Decebel, and their pack mates endure the torture of the In-Between, living their worst nightmares over and over, Sally holds. Though she knows that it is only a matter of time before their wolves take over, she holds. Sally knows that if the males die, then so too will their mates who have performed the Blood Rites, including her best friends Jen and Jacque. Yet she holds. If the males lose themselves to their wolves and turn feral, so too do their mates. Still she holds. Though Vasile, the strongest Alpha in their history to unite the wolves, is lost beyond the Veil, Sally holds. Though Decebel, the only other wolf besides Vaile strong enough to unite the packs, suffers beyond the Veil, Sally will hold. No one is left to unite their race, and defeat Desdemona. Yet Sally still holds. She holds out hope that the Great Luna will not abandon them, cannot abandon them. Throughout the centuries, the Great Luna has always provided a gypsy healer to the packs, especially in times of great need. Now Sally is that healer. Sally fears what role she has to play in the defeat of Desdemona, but she will play it. Though heaven and hell unite against her, she WILL play it.
For too long the supernatural races have lived in separation, warring amoungst themselves, allowing trivial power plays and selfish disputes to keep them from uniting. That separation has made them weak. Now, being summoned as a collective force to the same land, will they come? Will they come in numbers greater than have been seen in centuries? Will they destroy each other and save Mona the trouble, or will they finally unite and fight as one?
What the!Are you flipping.... what!.... but.... *stutters*ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS QUINN!You can't just leave it like that after throwing that one hell of a whopper in my face then expect me to be all passive about the wait for the next book!I am seriously throwing daggers at you with my eyes right now!!!What the, but Dec, and JEN! She's going to freaking flip the fudge out! That is totally NOT fair and NOT nice!AAAAAAHHHHH! And I love you for it! *grumbles*Now that we've gotten THAT out of the way (I'm still fuming over it)I have to say that while I'm epically glad that the series is not over, I am equally as pissed with Quinn for leaving THAT BIG of a freaking cliff hanger! (not because its bad, because its soooooo good, but because I have to wait to read the next book.... *glares*) Okay, so if the previous books didn't sell you on this series, Fate and Fury will definitely be enough to kick your knees out from under you.Talk about some beautiful aggression!I seriously was about to jump in and strangle Mona myself for putting the pack through all that freaking crap! And holy hell I'm soooo glad they're strong enough with themselves and their mates to work together to overcome their many, many obstacles and trials! Holy mother of all flying monkeys! Fate and Fury will put you through one hell of an emotionally intense wringer!Holy..... ugh! I'm not getting over this until the next book comes out! And even then I won't be over it because they're will definitely be some awesomeness in the next book as well, and until the final page of the final book is written and ALL the freaking problems are solved and everyone is happy within their wolfy-fairy love (with all the characters that I love STILL alive, if you don't mind) will I be over it.Even then, I'll still torture my overwrought emotions and nerves by reading the series over and over again because it flipping blows my socks off!I bow down to you and wickedness Quinn! A WEEK OF QUINN DAY FIVE!!!
The days just keep a rollin' by ;)It's day FIVE!We're ALMOST there, but not quite, so hold onto your panties because the rides still going. Today is the review of Beyond The Veil
Though the Serbian pack has been brought to heel thanks to the downfall of their Alpha, the war is far from over.
Desdemona, a witch of unfathomable power, has escaped the wolves’ wrath, but she will not go quietly into the night. She takes refuge in a place where even the smallest sliver of light does not dare to enter. Though she had to flee, she has not given up on the treasure she wishes to acquire. Her depravity knows no bounds; she's even willing to search for the one who can assist her in opening a Veil that has not been opened in millennia – with good reason: the danger is incalculable.
Meanwhile, there are major changes rippling through the Romanian Grey wolves. Decebel has become Alpha to the Serbian pack in an effort to begin to unite the Canis lupis species. Their numbers are dwindling in the wake of the shortage of true mates and lack of offspring. The wolves are beginning to lose faith and darkness seems to be crashing in on them from all sides. But the winds of change are blowing, changes that will alter the future of not only the Canis lupis, but of another ancient race as well.
Amidst all of this, Sally is continuing to come to terms with her relationship with the playful, charming, flirty, unbelievably handsome bartender – who happens to be a member of the Romanian pack.
If all that weren’t enough, the Fates have decided to pay a little visit to Jen. It’s time to collect. She cheated the Fates of a life, her life. Now they want what they are due. The problem? It’s more than Jen is willing to pay.
Yes, the war is indeed far from over. Bargains will be struck, declarations will be made, sacrifices will be given, love will be tested, and trust will be questioned as evil makes its stand against them all.
Holy flipping bloody flying monkeys! That is all. Nah, just kidding :PYou're never that lucky!Anyways, so in the fifth installment of the Grey Wolves Series, we get further into the history of the canis lupus, and further into the developing relationships and friendships between the characters.
I could go on and on about how much I love the series, this book, and Quinn, but that would just be a massive repeat of what I have been saying these past five days.
So, instead I'd like to rant about some of the 1-3 star reviews that I have seen about her work.
I went through some of the reviews of Quinn's books on amazon and there's some people that I would LOVE to hunt down and punch in their throats. I mean, seriously, some of them are just ridiculous in their negative critiquing. Do they not understand that the social environment of the packs are completely different to what would be considered normal for humans? Thus the familial interaction wouldn't be the same as it would be for other people. AND not to mention that how Jen, Jacque and Sally interact with each other is that strong because they've known each other for forever and with each girl they're traits completely make up for what the others lack, thus making the friendship, dialogue and interactions completely cohesive. And not to mention that the girls, along with their mates, character traits create a perfectly fitted puzzle. So to remove even one from the whole would make the entire group incomplete and inharmonious. Seriously, I'm beginning to believe that humanity is loosing their intelligence. And why must they take everything so seriously? Are they really expecting a YA/paranormal book to be 'real'? It's fiction, for crying out loud, not a documentary of werewolf society. *falls over*. So, yeah, punching them in their throats would make me happy.
Yay aggression!
Also, when it comes to the people bemoaning about the editing.
1) Yes, there are some grammatical errors and 'oopsie's' as I call them. Did it bug me while reading? No. Why? Because I don't have my head that far up my..... *clears throat*..... because I was more interested in what happened in the story than about whether or not the editor missed something in the book.
2) Quinn Loftis is an INDIE AUTHOR. Now, what makes and Indie author different than, oh geeze, I don't know, a published author with a big boy publishing company such as Nora Roberts or Maggie Shayne, is that an Indie author DOES EVERYTHING BY HIS/HERSELF.
Now, what does that entail? You may ask.
Simple really.
An Indie author writes the books, finances the books (SURPRISE! Indie authors don't have an unlimited supply of finances for people such as editors, cover designers, marketing people, etc). With the financing, you may say '*scoffs* it doesn't cost THAT much to get an editor'. Okay, then you pull $500+ dollars out of your..... *clears throat*..... to purchase the experience of a professionally trained editor who has worked for publishers, it costs on average $500+ depending on book size. For a good graphic designer, you're looking anywhere from $200 (the very basic) to $450+ (just for the cover of the book!)
Now, add in the cost of doing blog tours, the cost of either having swag made or getting the items needed to make your own swag, plus not to mention the cost of getting the books published so we can have giveaways like these, and it all comes to a VERY pretty, shiny, bling-ed out penny!
Now, since no one has the ability to sh*t out.... *clears throat*..... since no one has the ability to pull money from the air, you can see where some problems would occur when it comes to managing your budget.
Also, Indie authors don't have publishers and publishers assistants and their own marketing team to promote their work for them. They do it all by themselves (which is A LOT of hours taken away from your family and friends, just to bring the story TO YOU).
Now, you're probably saying that 'well it's not like they're going to lose money! I mean, their paperbacks cost like 12 bucks alone!'.
Here, I have to stop and start laughing hysterically.
Okay, so 'omg they get paid 12 buck a paperback, right?'
WRONG! It costs (on average) $8 to print the books, which means that out of that twelve you would get paid $4 (if royalties allow it).
So, lets say that you spend $1500 for everything needed to design, publish and market your book. If you sold the ebook copies for 1.99, you would make a profit of 1.33 (depending on the royalty percentage). So, you would thus have to sell either 375 paperbacks or 1,128 ebooks (or a combo of the two) JUST to break even!
And yes, that does take awhile. Sometimes a couple of months depending on how well you marketed your book.
So, in conclusion, next time you want to b*tch about small things in a review to an author, just remember that they're doing their best with what they have to work with. Yes, there will be mistakes (sh*t, there's mistakes in even the most established veteran author's works {and don't try to argue that there's not, because there is}), so unless its an absolutely atrocious story you have ever written that your five year old could of written better then I DON'T want to hear nit picking over every little freaking detail. Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinions (I sure have no problems stating mine), but whenever you're writing a negative review JUST because you can with it not even pertaining any negative remarks towards the story itself and that review turns others away from said book then that creates a HUGE FREAKING PROBLEM because you are basically f*ck..... *coughs..... defalcate someone out of a story/series that they may potentially love.
Also, all of what I said above could be pointed out towards pirating sites and those that are too f*ck..... *coughs*..... and those that are ill-informed about authors situations and all the details that involves publishing a book for your entertainment, who knowingly go to those pirating sites for free books instead of paying the 1.99 for said book.
(these types need to be punched in the throat also).
Oh, and just so you guys know, if you are caught either pirating from authors, running a pirating site, or getting items from pirating sites, you can and WILL be persecuted to the full extent of the law because all published books ARE copyrighted, and you can be charged IN FEDERAL COURT for copyright infringement. So there's some happy thoughts for those of you who either do, or think about pirating or getting pirated items.
Now, before I forget to *cough* after every bad word and become so heated and become such a vigilante that I start spewing forth deprecating facts about said people like a vengeful goddess from Thy Kingdom of Nerds, lets move on to more happier things, like the GIVEAWAY!

A WEEK OF QUINN DAY FOUR!!!!
Welcome to Day FOUR!We only have 3 days left to finish out the Week of Quinn *cries*They're too good to let go!Today is the review for:
Darkness has descended on the Transylvanian Alps.
Four packs of the powerful Grey wolves – in a rare show of cooperation – had joined together here in an effort to help their pack members find true mates. Then they were betrayed by one of their own – an Alpha hell-bent on becoming the most powerful of the Canis lupis. And though the wolf's assassination attempt on the currently-reigning Romanian Alpha failed, his plans to get Decebel, the Romanian Beta, out of the picture were coming together even as his treachery was discovered. The wolf fled, leaving destruction, death, and a missing mate behind him.
Unbeknownst to the other packs, the wolf has employed a witch to finish the deadly job and help him gain another tool to increase his power. A curse of devastating proportions will cripple Decebel in a way that may dissolve his fragile bond with Jennifer. Meanwhile, injured and alone, Jen has been fighting for her life. She had come to terms with her fate, accepting that she would not share a life with Decebel, until help came in the most unexpected form...
Vasile will have to use all his resources – including Sally, the new gypsy healer of the Romanian pack – to discover a way in which to destroy the witch, lift the curse from Decebel and reunite him with the one woman who makes him whole, and solve a mystery that's been surrounding the Romanian pack for 300 years.
The sh*t hits the fan in Out of the Dark! And what I mean by that is: Hold onto your hats, ladies and gentlemen! It's about to get even more awesome up in here! We continue the journey, meeting more new characters that each have a set of traits that are truly astounding. From start to finish you will be sucked into the fascinating world that Quinn has created. You'll be thrown through some epic loops during this book, followed by the whiplash effect of being b*tch slapped by what-the-ef moments! Throughout the Week of Quinn, you've heard me go on and on about how awesome her work is.You're probably sitting there going, 'yeah right, nothing can be THAT awesome.'Well, here's some proof that you're wrong (and because you guys are probably tired of me right now ;) ).Customer Reviews for Out of the Dark4.0 out of 5 stars Great Series!I love this series! A WEEK OF QUINN DAY THREE!!!
Woot woot! We're at day three!Want to apologize to everyone for this posting late (like, really late) in the day.Have had some massive computer problems to the point where I've had to go out and buy a new freaking laptop! So bad news! This is sorta late! Good news, brand spanking new laptop!Wooooo!Today is the review of: Just One Drop
Jennifer Adams, best friend to Jacque Pierce and Sally Morgan, spicy, out spoken, a little crazy and human...or so she thought. Jen has just found out that human DNA is not the only thing that resides in her veins, she happens to share that little pesky werewolf gene, although it isn't more than just a drop. Now that she and her friends are living in Romania with Fane's pack, she is also oh so conveniently stuck with the object of her affection, the fur ball Decebel. Drawn to each other by something they don't understand Jen finds herself frustrated by the lack of mating signs between her and said fur ball. Not only is she dealing with that not so un-frustrating problem, she now has been informed that because of that little drop of werewolf blood in her she is now required to attended a multi-pack gathering for un-mated wolves. This type of gathering hasn't taken place in over a century but with a shortage of females among the werewolf population the males are getting worried they won't ever find their true mates. Meanwhile Decebel struggles with the emotions he is feeling towards Jen. He tries to keep his distance but there is just something about the mouthy blonde that keeps him coming back for more of her verbal abuse that he just can't seem to get enough of...go figure.
I have to say that this book has to be one of my top favs in the Grey Wolves Series. Why? Because it's pure Jen.You heard me right, this book is based solely on Jen and Decebel.Which means this book is HOT!And not just hot, but full of bust out laughing, laugh until you cry only to have the breath sucked out of you from some epic what-the-ef moments!Basically, its a healthy dose of pure insanity and pure brilliance! The dynamics between Jen and Decebel is absolutely fascinating. They're complete opposites, but complete and fit each other so perfectly that it will have you begging for your on Dec ;) You'll be whip lashed through even more twists of the stories plot, plus meet some very fun new characters, as well as become pissed off at some of the not so new characters. The testosterone will rage, the males will become testy, and Jen, of course, will run her mouth about EVERYTHING! Which makes this book absolutely freaking fabulous. Now, I know that most of you guys only come here for the giveaways (huzzah! they're awesome!)But please take the opportunity to start reading this amazing series. It's epic, you'll love it, and you'll become deliciously addicted to it.I know this post is shorter than normal, but I want to get it out to you guys before the 'new' day begins. Also, wanted to wish Quinn a VERY HAPPY RELEASE DAY!That's right, book number 6, Fate and Fury, has been released TODAY!*happy dance* Now, here's another chance for you to enter the giveaway!Until next time, spread the Wickedness and Happy Reading!a Rafflecopter giveawayTo purchase your copy of Just One Drop for Kindle click HERE for Nook click HERE

A WEEK OF QUINN DAY TWO!!
Welcome to Day TWO of the Week of Quinn!*happy dance*Today is the Review for:
With the challenge complete and the corrupt Alpha of Coldspring defeated Fane is now free to complete the mate bond with Jacque and perform the Blood Rites. Although the challenge is done, the affects are far reaching. Once it is known that Vasile one of the strongest Alphas in the world is in America, specifically Coldspring, TX, there is one Alpha who cannot over look the significance of this. An Alpha who happens to share Jacque's DNA, but is this the one she needs to fear?
With her mom driving and her two best friends, Jen and Sally in tow, Jacque set off for her happily ever after. She will soon realize a plan has been put in motion that will change her course and possibly tear her from Fane's grasp forever. It will take a wolf pack, her mother's love, her two best friend's unrelenting determination, her own will to survive and the undying love of her mate to bring her home. The question remains, if she fights, if she endures, who will she be, what will be left once she is back in her mates arms?
Blood Rites is chocked full of adventure, fun, *drama*, and of course, witticism and sarcasm. It's really hard for me to write about ANY of the books in the Grey Wolves Series without wanting to discuss everything. Yes, it is one of those books where you just want to talk about it forever, regardless of whether or not people have read it! So, in my spunky way of reviewing without actually spoiling anything, I figured we'd do a Moment From the Vault of What-The-Ef-ery!(haven't done these in awhile *cracks knuckles* may be a wee bit rusty ;) Awwww yay!OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG*holds breath* eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!no no no no NO NO NO NO NO!!!*releases breath* oh thank the flipping monkeys, they're okaymmmmm break me off a piece of that! (Sorry Jeremy)She's sooo luckyAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!*sings along with Jen*OH HELL FLIPPING NO!WHAAAAAAAAAT???Oh no he didn't!Girl, you better whoop his a**!ah hahahahahahahahahahhahahaha!Jeremy: Baby, what's so funnyMe: This is *shows page*Jeremy: *eyes widens* you would totally say thatMe: *shrugs* just sayin' ;) AND all of those moments are the first HALF of the book, and doesn't include all of the moments from the Vault of What-The-Ef-ery!Yes, my people, it is that good!Blood Rites captures your attention and imagination from the get-go. You're quickly drawn in and immersed into the storyline and the characters trials.I was literally snapping on anyone who would attempt to interrupt me while reading and eventually locked myself in my room just for some peace and quiet.I couldn't put it down and as soon as the last page was 'turned' I immediately started cussing up a storm while searching like a maniac for the next book. Now, as for the romance, the Grey Wolves Series doesn't have a love triangle, people sobbing about how they want to be together but can't or all that other wishy-washy crap.Instead, Jacque and Fane WANT to be together, want to be bonded to each other. Neither are iffy or mistrustful of their feelings for one another. It is a true love love story where the characters will do whatever it takes and overcome any obstacles just to be together. *swoons*PLUS! NONE of the female leads are weak, helpless females. Yes, they have things to overcome within themselves to make them more kick ass and have plenty of opportunities for personal growth, but you won't see a single one of them being content with sitting back and letting the men handle everything.Which makes and amazing book even MORE awesome!I love strong characters! Okay, so I'll stop here before I go on and on and on about how awesome it is lol. Below is another chance for you to WIN the giveaway! Question of the day: What is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to female MC's?

Yes, they have things to overcome within themselves to make them more kick ass and have plenty of opportunities for personal growth, but you won't see a single one of them being content with sitting back and letting the men handle everything.Which makes and amazing book even MORE awesome!I love strong characters! Question of the day: What is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to female MC's?
