I'm finishing up my next novel, An Honest Mistake.
This time, Kirbi Mack is hired to look into a shooting. Someone has fired three bullets through the window of a middle-class suburban living room. Not an earthshaking crime. In fact, maybe just some random violent craziness.
Nevertheless, Kirbi takes the job seriously. And soon begins to get a pretty good idea of both the who and the why behind the incident. But she also begins to see that there's far, far more going on than meets the eye in this situation.
As usual, the novel is filled with cool, exotic, memorable characters. And the story races along with delightful unpredictability. If you enjoyed The RayBright Caper, watch for An Honest Mistake. I’ll be holding a giveaway for it too.
