Quote of the Day: "If you only do what you know you can do - you never do very much." - Tom Krause
Food for Thought: At some point in your life you have to realize that if you just do the bare minimum to get by then you are cheating yourself out of experiencing and accomplishing great things. You say that you want more out of life ... are you willing to take risks? Are you willing to move out of your comfort zone?
In order to realize your dreams and move beyond the ordinary, you have to get past the fear of failure then press forward into the unknown and unseen. The extraordinary is accomplished by moving fearlessly beyond the ordinary.

Quote of the Day: "You will never win if you never begin." - Helen Rowland
Food for Thought: You don't have to possess everything tangible (i.e. lots of money) in order to take those initial steps to make your dreams a reality. Remember to infuse the intangibles (i.e. prayer/faith) along with the tangibles that you have now, be persistent and put in the work - stay the course.
Watch how things start to manifest and grow! Think positive, speak positive and be positive.

Quote of the Day: "We are all inventors, each sailing out ona voyage of discovery, guided each by a private chart, of which there is no duplicate. The world is all gates, all opportunities." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Food for Thought: We have all been uniquely designed and given different gifts. As God for guidance on utilizing those, which were given to you and wath how your territory is increased beyond your wildest imagination. Keep the faith, keep moving forward and spread positivity.
Remember, you ALWAYS get back what you give!

Quote of the Day: "True success is overcoming the fear of being unsuccessful." - Paul Sweeney
Food for Thought: How can you ever really know what being successful is without taking a leap of faith?
I've always struggled with the fear of failing or not being good enough to achieve my aspirations and dreams. Over the years, I have learned that we all have God-given gifts and talents; therefore, fear is not an option. "For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7)
It has been proven by a number of successful individuals that faith, hard work and tenacity are imperative to achieving your goals and aspirations. There are no reasons why you can't write that book, take that once-in-a-lifetime trip or start and run a successful business.
Remember that your age, background or circumstance(s) shouldn't matter. Be fearless in chasing your aspirations, dreams and goals.

Poem: Just Breathe
You are always on the run,
Putting in many hours and getting the job done,
Here, there and everywhere,
Not taking out time to breathe in the crisp, clean air,
The hustle and bustle of a demanding life,
Juggling the demands of corporate exec, mother and wife,
Time is constrained and limited beyond compare,
You aren’t taking out enough minutes to just breathe in the crisp, clean air,
“Rome was not built in a day”
That is how the saying goes,
What tomorrow may bring
Nobody truly knows,
Just breathe,
Exhale, relax and let go,
Just breathe,
Release and let it flow,
Just breathe.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
We are 18 days into 2014 and I am looking forward to accomplishing quite a few things this year. I've been working on two children's books and a fiction book. Whew, I know that seems like a lot to do, right?
Well, I love to write and I've set some high goals for myself in 2014.
I plan on blogging more often to share my works as well as keep you informed of the progress with the upcoming books.
I look forward to interacting with you all more this year.
Until next time ... take care.
