SNEAK PEEK! (A preview of The Society of 19)

Before I'd even known what the word "society" really meant, I'd already been having nightmares about it. Sometimes in my dreams the Society was a bear-like monster that chased me to the ends of the world. There was this one time I'd dreamed that it was a blood-sucking creature, which was right after I'd met my dad's vampire friend, Volusian, for the first time.

My dad wasn't the nurturing type. Tough love was more his style. He dumped quantum physics on me when I was fifteen. His idea of coddling was taking me out to dinner. He was like a drill sergeant, and he never comforted me whenever I'd woken up from my nightmares about "society." He always just smiled at me and said that whatever "society" was in my dreams, was nothing compared to the real thing. I never got any decent sleep since he first told me that, which was when I was five...

Firsts

Something seems really refreshing about starting anew. And since my previous, pre-author blog makes me seem like a Neanderthal, this new blog might be just the thing for me.
