There’s still time to sign up for the release day party of A.J. Bennett’s “Unintentional Virgin,” her newest book which follows the ever likable character, Karma Points. Sign up today and join the fun.
Unintentional Virgin FB Party
Warning: Synopsis readers won’t be able to help, but join this fun party. (FB is not affiliated with this promotion or party.)
Karma Points is cursed. Cursed with a stupid name and the inability to lose her virginity. She’s on a mission to lose her virginity before she turns twenty if it’s the last thing she does.
One night, her good friend Eva brings her to an underground club where Karma meets a tattooed bouncer. He’s far from the clean-cut type she normally falls for, which makes her think this finally might be the night she crosses the threshold of womanhood.
Excited, she goes home with the bouncer named Jax and as always, her dreams crash down once again. Jax cannot believe she is willing to give away her virginity to a stranger she met at a club. As the only son with five sisters and a widowed mom, he can’t morally go through with it, even though he’s never been more tempted in his life.
Unwilling to let her walk away, he strikes a deal. Karma has to spend three weeks dating him and then decide if she wants to have sex or walk away.

Cover Reveal: “Dark Side of Love” by Danielle Joy Linhart
Cover design by Eden Crane Designs
“Bravo on a well told story of survival.”
Lisa Markson, The Paranormal Bookworm
Author Danielle Joy Linhart reveals a story of a young girl caught up in an abusive relationship, but strong enough to break the cycle.
On the surface, they were the perfect couple: popular, happy, completely in love. Gina’s senior year was supposed to be carefree and fun with the perfect boy at her side. Except Mark wasn’t perfect. At first, his dark streak emerged rarely – when she forgot to call or didn’t do what he asked her. He always apologized for hurting her, and she convinced herself that was enough. As the year progressed, he became more controlling, more violent, until Gina realized she had to make a choice: live in the shadow of Mark’s abuse and pretend everything was okay or save herself, even if it meant losing him. Freedom or fear? It wasn’t supposed to be like this.
Danielle Joy Linhart resides in Florida with her husband and two children. As a child her inspiration to become a writer began while reading books by Beverly Cleary and in fact, pushed her to major in creative writing in college. When not writing, Danielle dreams up creative ways to display the beautiful covers of her fellow authors through her swag shop known as Danielle’s Dazzling Designs.
Keep up with Danielle here:

Five Facts Friday with Trudy Stiles
This Five Facts Friday post will feature new author Trudy Stiles, whose upcoming book is “Dear Emily,” expected to drop in the fall or winter of this year. “Dear Emily” will be the first book in the “Forever Family” series.
CURE FOR WRITERS BLOCK: Going for a run to clear my mind and music. “I always plug into iTunes while I write; certain songs make my characters come to life.”
FAVORITE TIME TO WRITE: After 10 p.m. “My evenings are hectic with dinner and family. We like to watch TV together before the kids go to bed and by the time I wind down, it’s usually late. I typically cannot write during the day because there are too many distractions.”
GUILTY PLEASURE: “Big Brother” (TV Show). “I’ve been watching this show since the beginning and I have a love to hate relationship with it and the house guests! I’m addicted!”
IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE, IT WOULD BE: Coastal Oregon. Why? “Have you been there? God it’s just gorgeous; both stunning and peaceful.”
FAVORITE SUPER POWER: Speed. “I wish I could zip around my house and tidy it up in under a minute. Folding my mountains of laundry would take only second!”
You can follow Trudy on Facebook.
If you’re an author and want to be featured on Five Facts Friday, reach out to me.

“September Tango”
When I heard that the male POV was written by author Scarlett Jade’s husband, I had to check out this book that is loosely based on their own romance. Here’s the synopsis:
The town of Major is nothing more than a major disappointment for Zoe Parker. She is living in a grey world after the death of her beloved Momma, and can’t seem to shake the growing depression that threatens to consume her. Things only get worse when she discovers her longtime boyfriend is banging every chick in town.
Her daddy is gone most nights, and all she can think about is the boy who really caught her eye in high school more than five years ago… The one with gorgeous dark skin and smoldering eyes… Too bad he was dating her best friend. Now she floats around, moving through the daily routine with small dreams about getting away from the small town, and finding a real man to claim her heart.
Staff Sergeant Calvin Hall of the US Army is finally putting his boots back on American soil for some R&R. It’s been five years since he joined the military, and he hasn’t looked back since. After dealing with his own troubling past, he wants to lay back and enjoy some time to put it all behind him. But fate has other plans for him. A beautiful woman snags his attention the first day in town and the pull between them is too strong to resist. The problem? She is his ex-girlfriend’s best friend, she is just as broken as he is, and he has a war he has to get back to in two weeks.
Who says a summer romance ever has to end? What if thousands of miles and a war separated you? Would you keep dancing? Or would it simply be… a September Tango?

Answering Your Questions…
Normally, I ask another author to guest post on Fridays, but today I was asked to answer some questions in preparation of the Summer’s End Sizzlin’ Sale starting tomorrow. So here it goes…a peek into my mind. (Don’t worry. I’m having a PG morning.)
1. Favorite Book Cover
Without a doubt, “Die for Me” by Amy Plum is my current favorite cover. I was lucky enough to visit Paris this month so I’m just dying myself to get my hands on this book.
But with so many beautiful covers, how can I pick just one? I can’t…I also love “Star Kissed” by Lizzy Ford.
2. Main Source of Inspiration
The benefits of an active imagination are that I find inspiration in the most mundane of daily experiences. I’ve also got super keen hearing…I’m talking dog ears…and my bad habit of eavesdropping in the grocery checkout line always gives me something to write about.
3. Secret Food Addiction
Brown sugar. I love it on bananas, in sauces, you name it! It even goes in my coffee.
4. Dream Hottie
I’m not unlike many of my readers in that I imagine spending a night with James from “Released” would be pretty amazing. And, if he looks like this…even more reason.
5. Favorite Quote
As a writer I often think of Steve Martin’s words: “Be so good they can’t ignore you.” And, I can’t just leave you with one quote because this adaptation of Ghandi’s words are too brilliant to not include: “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
Words to live by.
