I received a lot of criticism in my last Vice article for suggesting we spend more resources to improve disabilities for people, instead of just accepting them as they are. What those critics don't realize is that I think all humans can use improvement, including all able bodied ones too. Everybody is a frail biological being designed to suffer, wither away, and die.
