Review: FreshFiction

Yesterday, I felt the need to console myself about my technology woes — and what better way than with a shiny new review? FreshFiction calls DARKWALKER “brilliant” and “a definite winner”. That sure put a smile back on my face! Have a look!

Technology Fail

Well, folks, it turns out I owe a lot of you an apology. The email address for the website, info@eltettensor.com, has not been forwarding to my regular email inbox as it was meant to do. The result is that emails have been merrily stacking up over the past month, without my knowledge.

Here I thought it was quiet out there, but no — I’ve been receiving congratulations, lovely comments, and requests for interviews and guest blogs, all of which have gone unanswered. I’ve responded to each and every one individually now, but once more, for the record:

I am sooooo sorry.

:(

Thanks for your patience and your well-wishes, and keep ‘em coming! I promise to be more responsive in future.

Review: Bookworm Blues

Another very nice review over at Bookworm Blues. So far, people seem to be liking DARKWALKER. Hopefully word is starting to spread! These early days are the most uncertain for an unknown/debut author. It’s so hard, and yet so crucial, for the first book to get noticed, since it goes a long way towards determining the ultimate fate of the series. If you’ve read DARKWALKER and enjoyed it, why not drop a line over at Amazon, Goodreads, or Barnes & Noble?

Interview Monday!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of chatting with Mogsy at the Bibliosanctum about antiheroes, black magic, and my crush on Eddie Valiant (of Roger Rabbit fame). Meanwhile, over at the Qwillery, we talked about channeling your inner snark, losing your pants, and other tips of the trade. And of course, both interviews were chock full of DARKWALKER goodness, including a sneak peak at the sequel. Take a look!

Book Day is Here!

At long last, Book Day is here. DARKWALKER is available at a bookstore near you (or, if you prefer, out there in the cyberverse), and you have your choice of three formats: print, e-book, and audio. Just in time for the holiday gift season, and nothing says “Happy Holidays” like a nice, dark paranormal mystery.

Maybe better put something warm in that egg-nog, though.

Review: The Bibliosanctum (5 out of 5 stars)

The first review of DARKWALKER is up, and I couldn’t be happier. More gratifying even than the ranking — a shiny five out of five stars — is the thought that went into the review itself. My favourite part of the review is this:

“Now that I’m done with the book, I could see that everything happened for a reason. I wouldn’t have enjoyed this one so much if not for all the information that was given to me in the introduction, and likewise I would not have appreciated Lenoir for who he is at the end had he not acted like such a curmudgeon at the beginning.”

Writing an antihero is always risky business. By definition, they’re not going to be everybody’s cup of tea. So I’m glad that Mogsy at the Bibliosanctum takes her tea with a little bitter lemon. So do I.
