Title: For The Love of BeardSeries: The Dixie Warden Reje...

Title: For The Love of BeardSeries: The Dixie Warden Rejects #7Author: Lani Lynn ValeGenre: MC RomanceRelease Date: August 25, 2017Photographer: Furious FotogModel: Golden Czermak Tobias knows that women are a lot of trouble, and one in particular is more trouble than most. Yet even with the knowledge that she’s a pain in the ass, he doesn’t stop himself from doing the one thing he knows that he shouldn’t do—fall in love with her. It’s supposed to be simple. Get in, get the girl, and get out. What Tobias isn’t supposed to do is fall for the woman he’s supposed to rescue. But he can’t help being intrigued–and amused–by the defiance rolling off Audrey every time he so much as speaks to her. This fascination only intensifies with every single word from her delectable mouth.***It’s been six years since her assault, yet it feels like it happened just yesterday. Audrey’s sick and tired of feeling so useless. She’s had enough of being scared, she’s doesn’t want to be all alone for the rest of her life. All of that boils down to a woman who’s had enough of not doing anything to reclaim her life. She’s at a loss as to how to move on, and every attempt she makes results in failure. Just when she’s ready to quit, a sexy biker is there to push her out of her comfort zone.Under Tobias’ patient guidance, Audrey slowly makes her way back to herself. She lands a job that she adores, and she thinks she’s finally found her place in this world. Most surprisingly, though, she finds herself falling in love with a man that honestly scares her to death.Just when she vows to take that final step that’ll put her past in her past forever, the life she wants to live is yanked away. Leaving her with nothing to pick up the pieces.

Audrey and Fender to me…rated up there with Trance and Viddy.  I absolutely loved Audrey.  We’ve really been waiting on her story it seems like forever – at least since she was raped by the monster that her parents sent as a message.  We’ve heard Audrey mentioned in these books since the days when Ghost aka Tunnel was in The Dixie Wardens with Silas.  I didn’t know how this was going to play out, I really thought that we’d have Audrey be this colder version of what she used to be.  However, I was pleasantly surprised!!  I’m finding that this author does the complete opposite of what we think she’s going to do.  Not only is Audrey strong, but she’s feisty especially when it comes to Fender.  You don’t mess with her man.  Fender was a multi-dimensional character…he loved his Club, his woman and he loved his family.  He loved those that deserved to be loved and he showed them that love unconditionally.  He would lay his life down for everyone and anyone he considered to be in that category.  He was a strict state trooper, who played by the rules – even if it cost him his life.  He’d made mistakes, but he’d paid for them and continued to pay for them and Audrey was his home…she stood up for him when he thought she would be susceptible to lies. I was kind of hoping above hope that Big Papa would get a book, but if this is the last in this series – the author went out on a high note.  I still want my Big Papa story however….

I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.

Amazon Once a Disciple, forever a Disciple.Man whore.Ex-c...

Amazon

Once a Disciple, forever a Disciple.

Man whore.
Ex-con.
All-around asshole.

Daz is called a lot of seedy things.

But his brothers know there’s more to him

even if it is buried deep beneath the surface.

A Disciple will fight like a savage and never give up.

As a stripper, Avery is no stranger to judgment.

That doesn't stop her from assuming Daz is nothing more than a hot body, though.

But when tragedy lets her see behind the cocky-jackass exterior,

there's no denying the truth.

For this biker to go down, there has to be more than sparks—he needs full combustion.

Daz was someone I wanted to read from the very beginning.  I loved the story about how he got his name and when I knew he was getting with Avery...I was all in on this book.  Avery is kind of badass to me.  She's tough, but sweet.  She's got experience in the business and nothing really fazes her.  I liked the little twists and turns that this had.  The death in this book was totally unexpected and I almost quit reading it - I'm not gonna lie.  I hate when authors pull that and kill off someone.  It doesn't matter that the someone may or may not be a huge part of the series...it just rankles.  However, I got my crap together and forged ahead for what I knew would be an awesome and worth it read.  Drew didn't disappoint.  I loved the interaction of Avery and Doc. I thought it was more like a father/daughter relationship and made me fall in love with him all over again.  If you've never read any of the series, then you're missing out.  I've loved every single one, but this one and the second one, Shift, were my favorites.  Read it, love it and review it!!

Drew Elyse spends her days trying to convince the world that she is, in fact, a Disney Princess, and her nights writing tear-jerking and smutty romance novels. Her debut novel, Dissonance, released in August of 2014.

When she isn’t writing, she can usually be found over-analyzing every line of a book, binge watching a series on Netflix, doing strange vocal warm ups before singing a variety of music styles, or screaming at the TV during a Chicago Blackhawks game.

A graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a BA in English, she still lives in Chicago, IL where she was born and raised with her boyfriend and her prima donna pet rabbit, Lola.

Title: GoldieSeries: Night Rebels MCAuthor: Chiah WilderG...

Title: GoldieSeries: Night Rebels MCAuthor: Chiah WilderGenre: MC Romance (Stand alone)Release Date: August 21, 2017
Goldie, Road Captain of the Night Rebels MC, loves women and women love him. He’s a simple man who only needs his Harley, whiskey, and women—in that order—in his life to make it hum. Being an officer of an outlaw motorcycle club, the women are more than willing to accommodate the blond, ripped, and tatted biker. His rule is simple: pleasure without commitment. It’s served him well until one night when she walked into the club’s tattoo shop wanting an ink job on her sexy bottom. For reasons he doesn’t understand, he’s drawn to her.  He’s never felt such a pull before. He wants to get to know her. Then he finds out her name is Hailey Shilley. He hasn’t seen her since she moved away from Alina eleven years ago. She’s off limits. She’s his best friend’s little sister. He has to forget about her.  Problem is he can’t get her or her sweet tattoo out of his mind. Hailey Shilley left Alina when she’d first started high school. She’s back to help her aunt run her floral shop. When she stumbled into the tattoo parlor with her two friends, she didn’t expect to find the most gorgeous guy she’s ever laid eyes on. His ripped body, strong jaw, and to-die-for tats made her tingle all over. She can’t get him out of her mind. When she finds out he’s her brother’s best friend, she can’t believe what a hunk he grew up to be. But her brother warned her about him. Told her he’s an outlaw biker and a player. She always had a crush on him, but now that they’re both grown up, she isn’t sure she wants to risk her heart to him. While Hailey tries to put aside her fears and Goldie his loyalty to his buddy, women are being terrorized and female bodies are turning up all around the county. A madman is loose and he’s closing in on the women Goldie holds dear to him. Can he be stopped in time?  This is the fourth book in the Night Rebels MC Romance series. This is Goldie’s story. It is a standalone. This book contains violence, sexual assault (not graphic), strong language, and steamy/graphic sexual scenes. It describes the life and actions of an outlaw motorcycle club. If any of these issues offend you, please do not read the book. HEA. No cliffhangers! The book is intended for readers over the age of 18.

I've read ALL of Chiah's books and Goldie's been my all-time fave to date.  He's broody, he's a little moody, but when he knows he wants and needs Hailey...he goes after her.  I loved the mystery in this book.  It's like you got an MC Romance AND a mystery on the side.  The mystery is what kept me going back for more...I kept thinking it was one person and when it turned out to be another - it totally shocked the snot out of me.  The one thing that kind of bothered me, but I didn't really let it get to me was the hot one minute and cold the next that Goldie had going on.  I get that she's your best friends sister...but dude enough already!  Otherwise, this was an awesome book.  I would advise anyone under 18 not read this because there were some parts that were very explicity and made me a little uncomfortable.  If rape is a trigger for you, then I wouldn't suggest this book even though it's part of the mystery and suspense.  It had a lot of intrigue for me.

Chiah Wilder is the author of Hawk’s Property, the first book in the Insurgents MC Series. It is a full length, standalone novel. Its release date is set for October 27, 2015.
Always a lover of books, she began writing at a young age and continued through college with collections of short stories. Figuring she had to grow up and get a “real” job, her writing was placed on the back burner.
Her love of reading has always be center front in her life. Chiah’s love of bad boys both in and out of fiction has inspired her Insurgents series. She loves an alpha male whose softer side is brought out by a passionate, spirited woman. In fiction there are no rules or boundaries, and fantasies can go as far as the characters want to take them. Steamy, biker romances with rough, sexy bad boys are her guilty pleasure along with brownies, cheddar cheese, and movie marathons.
Returning to writing has been a dream come true. Writing and publishing Hawk’s Property has been an amazing journey, and she is happy to share the Insurgents family with her readers. She is busy writing her next book in the series.

What a fucking horrible day.Wes’s funeral had been about as much fun as shoveling horse shit. I’d gone home to the ranch afterward and gotten straight to work, hoping it would distract me, but after three hours, I knew nothing was going to take my mind off Felicity.Fourteen years. I hadn’t seen her in fourteen years, and today was the day she’d come back to Prescott. For Wes. She’d stayed away from her family, from me, for fourteen years, but she’d come back for Wes?That stung. Then on top of it all, she’d acted like an ice queen. It made the fact that she was still the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen even harder to stomach. I just couldn’t believe the harsh and rude woman at Wes’s funeral had been my Felicity. So here I was, standing outside her hotel room door in the freezing cold, needing to see for myself if she had really changed that much. Because if she had, then maybe I could finally let her go.I raised my fist and banged on the door, taking out some of my frustration on its wooden face.“Coming,” Felicity called. She must not have checked the peephole because when she opened the door, she sucked in a sharp breath.Fuck. Why did she have to be so beautifully sad? All I wanted was to pull her into my arms. Her eyes had been covered at the funeral, hidden behind huge black sunglasses, but now I saw they were red and puffy. She’d cried for losing Wes. Had she ever cried that much over me?Without a word, she stepped back and swung an arm out for me to come in. I stepped inside and crossed the room but didn’t sit.“How are you?” she asked after closing the door.“Fine. You?”She shrugged. “I’ve had better days.”“So since you’re in a bad place, it gives you the right to treat people like shit?” The words flew out of my mouth without thought and I regretted them the second she winced. She took a calming breath. “I know I didn’t handle myself the right way at the funeral. I’m sorry for being rude to you and I’ll be apologizing to my family on Christmas.”I scoffed. “Did you apologize to your mom and brother for not visiting for fourteen fucking years?”She winced again.Fuck. What was wrong with me? I had always tried to keep a hold on my temper where Felicity was concerned but again I was blurting out attacks. This time, she didn’t keep that calm composure. Her spine stiffened and her lip curled. “That’s none of your business,” she snapped. “I apologize for being rude to you at the funeral, but if all you’re here to do is yell at me, get out.”I closed the gap between us, standing right in her space and glaring down at her. Most people, men and women, would have cowered. I usually intimidated people with this glare, but not Felicity. Time hadn’t dulled her feisty spirit in the slightest. She didn’t move an inch, just glared right back.“You’d like that,” I sneered, “wouldn’t you?”“Like what?” she asked through gritted teeth.“For me to leave so you can go back to pretending that avoiding this place and the people here wasn’t totally fucking selfish.” I was being a complete and total asshole. I knew it, I just couldn’t stop. All the pain I’d buried for years had bubbled up to the surface and was spewing out of my mouth.Felicity’s eyes welled but she didn’t lose her edge. “What else? Obviously, you came here to pick a fight. To hurt me back. So, keep going. If that’s what it will take to make you feel better, then please, keep going.”Another thing that hadn’t changed: she called me on my shit. My anger deflated and I shook my head. “It’s not making me feel better.”“Then what will?”Not fighting with her would make me feel better. Having her explain what had happened all those years ago would make me feel better. Hearing why she’d stayed away for so long would make me feel better. But I didn’t tell her any of that. Instead, I crushed my mouth to hers and hugged her tight so she couldn’t push me away. Not that she tried. Her arms wrapped around my waist and she fisted my shirt in her hands.I poured all of the pain and anger she had caused me into our kiss. She gave me all of her grief and heartache. Neither of us stopped until we were both exhausted from hot and angry sex. While she slept on my side, I stared at the ceiling, wishing tonight had gone a whole lot differently. I wished I weren’t still drawn to her. I wished that she had come back for me, not Wes. I wished that I weren’t such a damned fool, always waiting on the sidelines, ready to pick her up when he broke her heart. All tonight did was prove one thing.History really does repeat itself.

REVIEWI heard a lot of chatter about this book on a forum on Facebook and I had already started reading it. I totally disagreed with them!! I thought this was an awesome book. Was this as good as The Coppersmith Farmhouse? Not quite, but it was still excellent nonetheless.  It had engaging characters, Felicity was a mean girl in high school but now she's just trying to make amends to everyone. Silas is a hottie with issues - he's loved Felicity forever and they've had a past. Unfortunately,  that past is a humdinger and some might say it's insurmountable. There were some places that I thought it was predictable and you know what? It didn't matter because the plot was on point, the writing and grammar was stellar, and I found myself enjoying it even during the narration. I liked the back and forth of the scenes from their childhood, it reminded me of another authors books that's an automatic tbr for me. I came into this new...not reading The Coppersmith Farmhouse first and I still want to read all her other books when they come out!! Now, I just need to read the second book and all will be good in my book!

Pallas and Nick were such a great couple to me...they had such great chemistry and the storyline kept you involved. What I loved most was the cast of characters. It started off with a bang with Pallas asking Nick to take his shirt off and be her Roman soldier for a wedding when he comes for an interview. When he takes a carpentry job repairing panels, he gets to know Pallas a lot better. If you love Susan Mallery - then you'll love this one!!

“Don’t take this wrong, but I really need you to take off your shirt.”Pallas Saunders winced as she said the words—this was so not how she usually conducted an interview. But desperate times and all that.Nick Mitchell raised his eyebrows. “Excuse me?”A valid semiquestion and certainly better than simply bolting which, hey, he could have done.“It’s an emergency,” she said, waving her hand in what she hoped was a can we please move this along gesture.“I’m going to need more than that.”“Fine.” She drew in a breath, then began talking. Fast. “I have a wedding in less than an hour and I’m one Roman soldier short. J.T. ran off to LA because his agent called about an audition. Note to self. Do not hire actors during pilot season. Anyway, I need a Roman soldier. You’re about the same height as the other guys and you’re here because you need a job, so take your shirt off, please. If you look halfway decent, I’ll sponge tan you and you’ll carry a very skinny girl in on a palanquin.”“On what?”“One of those sedan chair things. I swear, she probably doesn’t even weigh a hundred pounds. I don’t think she’s eaten in three months. You look strong. You’ll do great. Please? There’s a check at the end.”Not a very big one, but money was money. And Nick Mitchell had answered her ad for a part-time carpenter, so he must be at least a little desperate for money. A feeling Pallas could so relate to.“You want me to carry a girl in on a palanquin for her wedding?”Why were the pretty ones always dumb, she wondered with a sigh. Because Nick certainly qualified as pretty. Tall with dark hair and eyes. His shoulders were broad and from what she could see, he looked to be in shape, so what was the big deal?“The name of my business is Weddings in a Box.” She gestured to the walls around them. “This is box-like. People come here to get married. I do theme weddings. The couple today want a Roman wedding. You’d be stunned at how popular they are. The Roman wedding includes the palanquin for the bride. Please, I beg you. Take off your shirt.”“You’re weird,” Nick muttered as he unbuttoned his shirt and tossed it onto her desk.Hallelujah, she thought, walking around to view him from the back. As she’d hoped, he looked good—with broad shoulders and plenty of muscle. No massive tattoos, no ugly scars. Not that she objected to tattoos, but so few of them were Roman wedding appropriate and she really didn’t have time to do her thing with concealer. As it was, Nick would fit in with the other guys perfectly.“You’re hired, but we have to hurry.”     Susan Mallery’s YOU SAY IT FIRST – Review & Excerpt Tour Schedule:August 21stBooked All Night – Review & ExcerptI Love Romance – Review & ExcerptKaty and Zetti's Book Ramblings – ExcerptAugust 22ndA Southern Girls Bookshelf – ExcerptBooknerd1107 – Review & ExcerptFicwishes – ExcerptReadaholic – ExcerptAugust 23rdGuilty Pleasures Book Reviews – Review & ExcerptIt's all About the Romance – ExcerptRachel Loren's Love of Reading – Review & ExcerptStephanie's Book Reports – ReviewAugust 24thBecky on Books – Review & ExcerptBooks and Things Blog – Review & ExcerptK.T. Title: In This BreezeSeries: Lakeshore University #1Author: Kathleen MareeGenre: NA RomanceRelease Date: August 24, 2017 A nerd. A quiet art student. A nobody. Or perhaps, just some girl. These are the non-spoken titles I was known as since I started at Lake Shore Uni almost two years ago now. When given the chance to leave my horrific childhood behind - I didn’t hesitate. In fact, I was ecstatic to have the door hit me on the ass on my way out of town; because the only two things I actually loved in my traumatic life… Were coming with me.And whilst the three of us shared the same beat-up truck when we moved here – that’s where the similarities unfortunately end. Ethan ‘The Mule’ Jones, is kind of a super star on campus. Everywhere he goes he seems to draw attention. I guess that’s what happens when you’re headlining papers as the star basketballer for the LS Eagles. But to me, he’s just Eth. A boy who still spends his Friday nights snuggled up watching movies with me, and who walks me to classes just to make sure I get there okay. He is my best friend in every way, and I can’t imagine my life without him in it.And then there’s Jase. The truth is I knew from the moment I met Jase at the local skate park, when he was smoking a cigarette and teasing Eth for his poor skating ability, of how fiercely protective he was about those he cared for. From the time he blew his warm breath over my injured knee, to when he thankfully intervened on the most horrific day of my life. A day, that still haunts me when I am alone in the dark. He saved me. But Jase has his own demons too. Even if he doesn’t go looking for it, trouble always seems to find him. Which is why he has been absent from our lives for the past two years. Sometimes I wonder what he’s doing.Quite often I worry if he’s okay. And I always, always, think about him. Even though I shouldn’t.

From the earliest age I was a born storyteller. Ask my parents and they will tell you I had a gift for making a simple event seem like an elaborate one. Purposely? No. Innocently? Yes. It was my imaginary world that initially led me to believe I wanted to be an actor. All of that role playing and living in fantasy... it was an obvious direction for me. However, becoming quite uncomfortable with the limelight quickly saw that dream diminish. Over the years I turned my world of fantasy into stories, and eventually began writing them down. Before I knew it, 'Cut' had been completed. When I am not busy writing my next story, I am a working mum, housewife and sometimes hockey wag :) In other words, probably some kind of circus act who specialises in juggling ;) I hope you enjoy my blog, where I will be posting thoughts, other books I am currently reading and even sneak peeks of my novels. I encourage any feedback, comments or direct messages via my contact page should anyone wish to get in touch. I am so thrilled to be sharing my journey and hope you enjoy my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.Dream often. Believe always.

As she turned, Elliott appeared in front of her.“I was sitting down here,” he said roughly, “because knowing you were in that bathtub only a floor away was fucking killing me.”She hadn’t heard him come home, but he’d obviously been there a while, as he wore a pair of shorts that rode low on his hips and nothing else. Maybe it was the alcohol making her bolder, but she wanted to run her fingers down the lines of muscle that led down into his shorts. “Elliott,” she whispered, taking a step toward him. She placed her hand over his heart, a heart she knew was capable of good things. His skin was warm, his muscles solid, and she took comfort from the fact he was here with her and that she wasn’t alone. Tentatively, she stroked her hand down his chest, but Elliott placed his hand over hers and studied her intently. His eyes, heavy lidded, telling her that he wanted her as much as she did him. What was he waiting for? It had all made sense to stand her ground, to not get involved. But now, feeling as she did in her sexy new nightgown after years of feeling unwanted, none of it was relevant. She stepped up onto her toes and pressed her lips to his.Elliott groaned against her and ran his tongue along the seam of her lips, and she opened for him immediately. He nudged the robe off her shoulders, and it slithered to the floor. Softly, he nuzzled his way along her jaw, and kissed her as he had the previous evening along the side of her neck, leaving her knees weak.Kendalee slipped her fingers into his hair, holding him close. Her heart beat so furiously that she was certain Elliott could hear it. Finally. She’d get to experience what it was to let go and make love with someone who wanted her as she was.He gripped the silk of her nightdress, pulling it tight around her hips, then let go and slid his hands down her thighs until he reached the hem of the gown. Rough fingertips danced along her skin. In two steps, he backed her up against the counter, then lifted her as if she weighed nothing, making her gasp as the cool marble met her heated skin. The sensations were impossible to absorb. From the way his stubble tickled her cheek as he kissed her again to the way his calloused hands gripped her knees and pressed them open. As the nightdress rose up her thighs, Elliott stared at the space between them. She was naked beneath the slip of silk, and for a moment, she panicked, trying to recall just how many weeks ago it had been since she’d had the privacy to shave her bikini line.“Fuck.” Elliott groaned as his hands slid higher, his thumbs almost touching her most intimate places. “We can’t,” he then said and stepped away.

About Scarlett Cole The tattoo across my right hip says it all really. A Life Less Ordinary. Inked by the amazingly talented Luke Wessman at the Wooster Street Social Club (a.k.a. New York Ink). Why is it important? Well, it sums up my view on life. That we should all aspire to live a life that is less boring, less predictable. Be bold, and do something amazing. I’ve made some crazy choices. I’ve been a car maker, a consultant, and even a senior executive at a large retailer running strategy. Born in England, spent time in the U.S. and Japan, before ending up in Canada were I met my own, personal hero – all six and a half feet of him. Both of us are scorpios! Yeah, I know! Should have checked the astrological signs earlier, but somehow it works for us. We have two amazing kids, who I either could never part with or could easily be convinced to sell on e-bay.I’ve wanted to be a writer for a really long time. Check through my office cupboards or my computer and you’ll find half written stories and character descriptions everywhere. Now I'm getting the chance to follow that dream.Connect with Scarlett:
