Self Talk – Get the right imagery in your head
Logan speaks about the images we put in our mind and the necessity to focus on the positive over the negative. If I tell you to NOT think of a black and white cow, what do you immediately imagine? Stout Advice: Passion
"If you’re on fire, people will drive for miles to watch you burn." – John Wesley
When you look at people who are successful in life, they’re passionate. Passion is the common denominator of success, not money. It’s not a job when you have passion for what you do. The difference between just existing and thriving is having passion for what you do.
Action Items
Look at your life and ask yourself what is burning inside you…what is your passion?
Make a game plan to make your passion your job. Figure out how to get paid for what you love.

Stout Advice: Discipline
This week on Stout Advice Logan discusses the role that disciple plays in achieving your goals and success. Discipline is the difference between doing what you are supposed to be doing and not doing what you are supposed to be doing. It’s what separates those who have accomplished their goals and achieved success versus those who have not. Doing the right things repeatedly over an extended period of time will lead you to the results you want; most people don’t have the discipline to do this.
Action Items:
Make a list of all the things in your life where you need to be more disciplined.
Write down the things you need to stop doing. Replace these things with what you are going to do instead.
Make sure you put your list in a visible place where you see it everyday.

Stout Advice: Priorities
A powerful word that we all take for granted. We are all guilty of losing track of our priorities at times. Most people give their priorities their leftover time and spend the best time of their lives on the things that should be a lower priority, and many times it’s with good intention. We don’t get time back, so we must keep our priorities in order.
Action Items:
Make a written list of your priorities in order of importance.
Look at your daily allotment to your top priorities. Are you giving them quality time?
We hope you all have a blessed week! God bless!

Stout Advice: Teamwork
One of the keys to success is surrounding yourself with great people. Great people equate to great teams. The better your teammates, the better your team.
When evaluating teamwork it’s important to ask yourself two things:
What value do you bring as an individual to all the teams you work with?
Within the teams you work with, who brings great value that you can learn from?
Action Items:
Write down a list of people you are involved with
Write down what you can do to be the best teammate as possible
Write down the things you can do better

Stout Advice: Influence
There are three key stages to gain influence which ultimately gives you a platform to go out and change the world for the better.
Stage one: a relationship is formed
Stage two: the relationship turns into a friendship
Stage three: trust is earned
When trust is earned, that’s when you have influence. People of influence lead by permission instead of position. A leader isn’t defined by what they get, it’s defined by the number of lives they impact for the better, and influence is critical for doing so.
Action Items:
Make a written list of the areas of your life. Rate your level of influence for each area using a scale from 1-10, with 10 being the highest.
For each area, write down whether your influence is by permission or position.
The more influence you have, the more successful you will be.
