Hello Guys,
About two hours ago I had 51 followers until I deleted my blog by accident. I have spent the last hour making a list of all my poems, rewriting and then reposting them from scratch. My blog meant so much to me and if anyone interested in poetry could follow me to get me back to 50 followers that would be amazing? It’s my birthday on Tuesday (22nd) and it would be spectacular if you could all help me re-set up my blog? I had worked so hard on it and am pretty upset now it’s gone… Please please help me, tweet my link, facebook my link, share it to anyone! I just want my blog back :/
I promise to try and follow every single one of you back, I just want to feel like I’m sharing my writing with a group of people who are passionate…

What a wonderful thing a sunny day
The serene air after a thunderstorm
The fresh air, and a party is already going on…
What a wonderful thing a sunny day.
But another sun,
that’s brighter still
It’s my own sun
that’s in your face!
The sun, my own sun
It’s in your face!
It’s in your face!
When night comes and the sun has gone down,
I start feeling blue;
I’d stay below your window
When night comes and the sun has gone down.
But another sun,
that’s brighter still
It’s my own sun
that’s in your face!
The sun, my own sun
It’s in your face!
It’s in your face!
AUTHORS – When was the last time you?
True! Sometimes the busy shouldn’t stop you from giving back. :)

Said THANK YOU to a reviewer and clicked the LIKE button under their review?
The means to do both is provided by Goodreads and Amazon!
Authors often complain about the lack of reviews for their Bestselling Stories, but how many of you interact with readers who DO leave their reviews?
Having received thank you’s and/or messages from authors about my short, simplistic and unprofessional (but honest) reviews myself, I know how nice it feels (and I deal with authors on a daily basis!).
It may encourage them to read at least one more of your books!
Likewise, when Amazon sends me an email to notify me that someone has advised that my review helped them, (they had clicked the LIKE button under it), it pleases me and it’s not always, or only, the author who does so.
AVOID making comments or taking up arms against unfavourable reviews – read

World Wide Rant on Earth Day
Originally posted on Angst:
I wrote this a while back, but since today is Earth Day and I feel like indulging in a nice rant at the world, hey why not post?
Have you ever felt…helpless? As thought you are one teeny tiny amoeba in a sea of billions? This might be because, gasp, you are actually one out of billions on this friendly little planet we call earth. And sometimes when realizing you are one of billions you begin to feel that you have no voice, AT ALL. You cannot enact world change, you cannot sit the world down and give it a stern talking to like you would a teenager. For god’s sake, imagine if some alien race abducted ALL of us and put us in a ginormous warehouse on some alien planet. IMAGINE the crowds!!! HOLY MOTHER-FU#$ing SHIT!! That’s a goddamned lot of humanity. A holy SHIT TON.
So…since we…

AUTHOREO, AUTHOREO – WHEREFORE ART THOU AUTHOREO?

The more eagle-eyed among you may have noticed a new widget to the right of my individual blog posts – for those of you who are in need of better directions (like ME!) it looks like this:
When you click on it, it takes you directly to my Contact Me section where I have given guidelines and suggestions to help you formulate the means to enter the hallowed precincts of my Authors Hall of Fame (now complete with a Rogues Gallery of photos of the authors listed :D).
Now, I completely understand if you are really, really, shy and would prefer it if NOBODY knew anything about you or your book(s), or, if you get all sweaty (bloomy if you are a Lady), twitchy, dry mouthed and numb fingered at the very THOUGHT of writing about yourself as an (shudder) AUTHOR.
However, as well as writing it/them…

Fun’s Allowed
I never get the flu, said I the other day. Well. Apparently I do – sniffle. I’ve done all the zooming around town I need to do, so now I can lurk here at my computer with a blankie and a good excuse for several hot toddies. I’ve just seen on my last post that it got ninety odd likes – wow! That’s because of Don Charisma reblogging it to his incredible fans, and the fact that he genuinely is a nice man means that he is loved by a lot of fans. There’s a lot of power in being loved by many, and it’s rare to find such power being shared with just plain old kindness. So – blown away a bit.
The funny thing about doing that crazy doodle was how incredibly liberating it was. For a minute I thought about my pile of work waiting for me to do, and how much of a tool I generally am at all things IT, but then I had a go, and it took me straight back to the days before I had to be an adult – those days without deadlines and responsibilities. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed any sort of sketch that much before. It didn’t take very long to do, but the whole process was pure and simple fun – without any expectations for the end result. I’m still grinning just thinking about it, and insignificant as it may appear, I reckon it’s changed the way I’ve been thinking lately. It’s not good to be serious about every little thing that you do, and taking time out to do something just for the hell of it, or the sheer pleasure, I’m thinking now, is just as important as anything else in life.
Check out the other participants artworks at Don Charisma’s blog – I reckon they’re all just gorgeous! In the spirit of free spirit I’ll share my favourite wallpaper – again – I know.

I Did It!
Wow! Hat’s and everything else off to you guys who actually can produce cool pics in Paint – it’s really HARD! Anyway – Obeying Don Charisma’s paint it prompt, here is my painted picture. Awesome Jo!
Don Charisma Art Prompt
I’m just zooming through today. I spotted the challenge on Don Charisma’s blog, but because I truly have no idea what pingback actually means, I didn’t join in even though I couldn’t help having a go at the doodling – good fun. So, apart from the pinging, here is my Ism. One stars here will be taken on the chin. :)

The Australian Sunday Show – Guest Kelli Brett – ABC Australia and The Main Ingredient – Music, chat and food.
All things Aussie from Sally on this weeks show. :)
Originally posted on Forget the Viagra, Pass Me a Carrot:
Today we continue with an Australian theme with an old friend and colleague Kelli Brett who is ABC content director for Victoria and also producer and presenter of the very popular food programme, The Main Ingredient. I have also included some music from established and new Australian musicians.
Kelli and I first met ten years ago in Marbella where I was living and in the process of marketing my first book in Spain. I arrived at the Ondacero International studios to leave a copy of the book and a begging letter. Just as I was leaving Kelli came through from the studio a trifle miffed that her morning guest had reneged at the last minute. She saw the copy of my book, asked a couple of pointed questions and led me off to the studio. We worked together for the next three years and have kept in touch since Kelli’s…
