Hack
Dear Fans,
A kind individual recently alerted me to the fact that an impostor Facebook account, (erikajohansenbooks) has apparently been operating in my name and used to contact people directly. The problem is being dealt with as we speak, but if you have been in any way contacted or bothered by the hacked account, please accept my apologies and disregard any Facebook communication that purports to be from me. I don't do any social media personally; my author page here on GoodReads is the only place I post news, answer questions or communicate directly with fans online.

new novel
Dear readers,
Just dropping a note to let you know that my new novel, The Kingdom of Sweets, is coming for US and UK publication in late November 2023. The book is my own dark take on The Nutcracker, and it's no heartwarming Christmas tale. More info, including synopsis and pre-order information, can be found with my US publisher, here:

Title and Release Date
Dear readers,
Sorry it took so long, but I finally have a title and release date for the new book. Beneath the Keep is set for hardcover publication on February 2, 2021. If you'd like to see some marketing copy on the book, you can find it here (we're still working on the cover):

Projected release date
Dear readers: though it's a while away, I'm happy to finally have some info for you. The fourth Tearling book is now finished and has an estimated release date of February 2021.
