The Heracian Affair: expected publication March 20 2013!
Yes, I am utterly delighted to finally announce we have a date for when Rizzo and Conrad will be unleashed unto the unsuspecting world :D Be afraid, be very afraid!
You can check it out for yourselves over at the Dreamspinner Coming Soon page and see it in all its glory on The Heracian Affair's page. The title is already up on Goodreads here. Yes, I am extremely excited and cannot wait for March 20. This might be longest month of my life.
In the meantime, here's a bit about The Heracian Affair:
It's a m/m space opera adult romance (of the hot variety, lol!) with some sprinkles of ex-military/military and kink. Expect quirky characters, bubbly chemistry and a lot of teasing. And a happy ending, because sometimes I'm just that much of an incurable romantic.
Are you ready for Rizzo and Conrad? :D Because they're finally ready for you.

Even years after Rizzo Berg’s lover and Dom died in combat, the memories torment him. Following a particularly disappointing date, Rizzo goes to sleep in his apartment only to wake up on a spaceship with tall, gorgeous, alien Captain Conrad D’Ollet of Heracia, a man so deliciously dominant Rizzo’s knees turn to jelly.
Apparently the Heracians need help, and Rizzo is a humanitarian through and through. Spending more time around Conrad is totally not one of the reasons he wants to lend a hand.
Soon Rizzo finds himself completely conquered and blissfully owned. But neither he nor Conrad is willing to risk his heart, let go of the past, and dare to believe in a future that won’t end in catastrophe.

The Heracian Affair: we have a cover!
I've been near bursting with excitement about this for a few days, but I finally have something to show you guys!
The Heracian Affair finally has a cover! I'm uber excited about it, and Brooke Albrecht, the cover artist, did a fabulous job at capturing the concept of my characters & story. Or at least what I feel about it, lol, since she had my specs to go by for it. I guess in the end you guys, if you read it, will let me know how off the mark I was :D
But until then, I'm absolutely delighted to present to you the brand spanking new cover of The Heracian Affair:
Just look at him, he's so delicious...all darkish and brooding and mysterious, don't you just want to pull him out of that cover and tie him up to you bed? No? Well, maybe that's just me then :D The word I'd use to describe this cover is 'striking', and I'm very happy with that.
I know it sounds geeky since I submitted the MS, it got accepted, I signed a contract and all, but right now, knowing this is its cover, it feels suddenly so very real to me. You know what I mean? I'm so very excited to get the edits going and see it all done and ready to say 'hi' to the world.
What do you think, does this cover say "Grab me, open me up, devour me?"

Liv Olteano is born – novella coming out spring 2013 with Dreamspinner Press
I’m delighted to say I’ve signed with the awesome Dreamspinner Press for a (hot) novella that will be out March/April 2013! It’ll be published under Liv Olteano, not an entirely new pen name just a m/m (for now) dedicated spin on Livia Olteano.
