Summerians have red hair (like VIBRANT red, the same kind of extreme that Winter has — quite literally scarlet hair), tan skin (more orangey tones), and brown eyes. Their culture is a mix of Islander and African influences. Autumnians have black hair, tan skin (darker than Summer, more deep, rich copper tones), and dark eyes, almost black. Their culture pulls a lot from Middle Eastern and Thai inspirations.
I could talk for hours about the cultures of these two kingdoms and I am SO pumped for ya’ll to spend time in both kingdoms in the coming books. The Summer Kingdom is a HUGE part of ICE LIKE FIRE (Autumn will play more of a part in Book 3) and this spring I’ll be doing some fun introductory type things for Summer, so watch for that!
