Husband got me what is possibly the most appropriate “Your Trilogy Has Come to An End” gift in the history of bookish gifts.
He compiled photos of all my events/books/family/friends and made this giant collage mosaic print poster cover of FROST LIKE NIGHT and Icanteven with words to talk about it right now. I mean, JUST LOOK AT IT.
It’s currently sitting in my office, reminding me of all the crazy insane glorious *insert endless adjectives here* wonders that have happened in the past three years.

My entry for the last ever Join The Blizzard contest *sobs*
My favourite thing about the Snow Like Ashes series: the characters.
I couldn’t chose just one, so here are my two favourite badass warrior queens Ceridwen & Meira (ain’t no one telling me Cerie doesn’t get to be Queen of Summer now!)
My scanner was not kind to the hand-drawn ones, it bleached out the colours horribly and even corrected I couldn’t get all the shading back :-(
AHHHHH OMG. Both Meira and Ceridwen would LOVE THIS.

A mural-esque drawing of Meira from Snow Like Ashes, by Sara Raasch. Absolutely love the world-building in this series. I also love the covers (because somehow every cover is better than the last) and Meira herself for being so kickass. Definitely wanted to pay homage to all eight of the kingdoms, the first and last covers (Frost Like Night took my breath away), and to the heroine herself.
Y’all better be joining the blizzard come this September 20th, because that’s when the finale of this trilogy comes out!

Meira, Theron, Ceridwen and Mather are complex and beloved characters.
So in their honor and the release of Frost Like Night I have created magnetic bookmarks.
