This is a particularly special Mother’s Day – my first one. And I owe a lot (i.e. all) of what I know about being a mother to the woman in the top two photos. My mom has always been one of the most supportive people in my life (top right photo is on a train heading from NYC to D.C. at like 3AM after SLA’s launch party at Books of Wonder), and is a soft place to fall in an otherwise hard world.

Thank you, Mom, for being my role model as I raise my own Small Human.
