The Biography of Marilyn Monroe From Sardi's to Sicily February 21, 2013

Usually biographies follow a rather predictable if boring literary format. The facts are presented in strict chronological order and the reader then is supposed to realize why that person has earned a special place in history. However this new biography of Marilyn Monroe immediately shocks us because it uses a free flowing stream of consciousness language presented in two plays and a narrative. Beautifully written by theauthor/daughter, the result is to increase our empathy and understanding of both mother and daughter.

I enjoyed the interview with Nancy Miracle on you tube very much. Nancy is very lovely and well versed. Her book 'Sardi's to Sicily' was entertaining as well as informative. Marilyn Monroe was a wonderful actress and her passing was a sad time for me. Thank you, Nancy for writing this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Marilyn Monroe's daughter tells the truth, August 20, 2013
This review is from: From Sardi's to Sicily The Biography of Marilyn Monroe: Marilyn's Secrets fifty years after her death (Paperback)
It is with pleasure that I read, Nancy's book, giving us the truth about such a misunderstood and Hollywood hyped talent in Marilyn Monroe. The truth has been hidden in the greed of others, and film studio's ownership of her image. Nancy gives us the other side of the picture and provides history to settle the issue once and for all. Marilyn is smiling in her grave, knowing that the book has been published and part of the collection in the Library of Congress. Haters will hate, Marilyn historians will refuse to believe because they didn't know the real story, and the rest of us will smile, knowing her presence is still with us. Thank you Nancy, you can now settle down and stop defending yourself. Your story is public for the ones who want to know the story. Well written and a good read.
