Anika Redding, talented artist, overcame her past to live her life free of shame.

Betrayed by people she thought she could trust, the last thing she expected was to find true love in Cole Carlyle.

Their love for each other has helped them overcome their demons before, but now faced with an unimaginable challenge, Cole must turn to the last person he wants involved in his life, and hope that those demons don’t once again try to swallow them whole.

Inky and Cole’s romance and passion ignite and in the sequel to “Inky” we follow their journey to overcome their pasts once and for all, while building their love into something everlasting.

“Don’t move, baby.” He said gently.
“I’m not going anywhere.” I sat Indian style on the bed and hugged my knees up to my chest letting my head rest against them. “You know what?”

“What?” I heard from the direction of the bathroom.

“I always called Evan ‘baby’. My Dad called me ‘baby’ and I wanted to save it for the man I would marry. I’m sorry I wasted it on him when I have you.” He was behind me, pulling my hair back when I felt a brush against my scalp…heaven. “That feels wonderful…what are you doing?”

“I’m getting you ready for bed.” I could hear his smile.

“You’re brushing my hair.” I sighed happily, stating the obvious. “Wouldn’t you rather be having hot-drunk-no holds barred-sex?”

“Does this feel good?”

“It feels incredible.”

“Then we can have hot-drunk- no holds barred-sex another night. But tonight, Christmas Eve, I want you to remember this. I want it to be special. Both of us in our cupcake pajama’s, me holding you, taking care of you…this is the beginning of our life together…baby.”

Inky (Book One)
Anika “Inky” Redding is passionate about two things; her love of painting and her fiancé Evan. While working as a bartender to pay her bills, she meets Cole, a sexy divorcee. She denies their mutual attraction and tries to put him out of her mind.

When an abusive person from her childhood makes an unexpected visit, Inky’s world is turned upside down. Secrets are revealed and truths are exposed leaving Inky devastated and questioning what she thought was love. As she picks up the pieces and tries to move on, she finds her path crosses with Cole once again and this time, she cannot deny the passion between them.

Once she opens her heart again, will she be able to move forward or will her past find a way to stop her?

Blog Tour: Everything For Us by M. Leighton

Who doesn't love M. Leighton?!
We certainly do and Everything for Us was everything we expected.

When it comes to passion this hot, it’s all or nothing.

Olivia Townsend’s wealthy cousin Marissa had everything a girl could ask for—a great job, a privileged life, and all the friends she wanted. Or, at least, all the friends money could buy. But one case of mistaken identity has turned her privileged world upside down.

An abduction gone wrong lands her right in the lap of the sexiest, most dangerous man she’s ever met. To Marissa, he’s an enigma, but one to whom she’s irresistibly, inexplicably drawn.

With him comes a new world of freedom and passion, of dark shadows and dangerous secrets, a world where nothing is what it seems—except for the blind passion that Marissa can’t escape—or maybe even survive.

The wait for more of the Davenport twins, particularly Nash (and I mean the real Nash, not Cash pretending to be Nash) is finally over!  And Everything for Us does not disappoint.
Everything for Us was the perfect next instalment in the Bad Boys series (I’m loathe to call it the conclusion because I really, really hope that Leighton will write Gavin’s story).  It’s where we learn a lot more about Nash and where we watch Marissa transform into a genuinely nice person.  The story did start a little bit slow but it wasn’t long before I was well and truly absorbed back into the world of Olivia, Cash, Marissa and Nash.
The connection between Marissa and Nash is dynamite.  They’ve both had life altering experiences and are evaluating how they will move on from them.  For Nash, being exiled for seven years following his mother’s murder has resulted in him having to make choices he would not have ordinarily made just to survive.  As a consequence he is an angry, bitter man, focussed on revenge.  Marissa’s abduction has given her a total shift of perspective and has her walking away from the person she used to be.  Both of them see elements of themselves in each other and both think they are too broken to be worthy of the other.
There are some very hot scenes in Everything for Us - Nash is a bad, bad boy and Marissa seems to be a worthy ‘opponent’ for him.  Despite a level of submissiveness she doesn’t let him totally walk all over her and her strength of character is one of the things Nash finds hard to resist.  An event from the past provides insight into Nash’s interest in Marissa and has consequences he fully expected but was hoping to avoid.  Marissa has revelations about her father and his manipulation of her, which actually strengthens her resolve to be a better person.  Cash and Nash persist with their quest to gain justice for their mother’s murder and there’s just enough of Cash and Olivia to keep everyone happy.
If you’ve read the first two books in the series I think you will be satisfied with book 3.  As I said, I’m loathe to refer to it as the final book in the series because I would love to see some more Gavin.
4 out of 5 stars

In the Spotlight: The Second Year Running the Gauntlet (The Sturgis Diaries) by Brandie Buckwine

If Cam’s first trip to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was an awakening, her second trip could only be called eye-opening. Even though she knows better, Cam just can’t help chasing her libido – right into hell. But relying on Dylan to save her every time she finds trouble isn’t fair to him. Is it?

Cam starts her second trip to Sturgis with a bang. A gang bang, that is. Even though she’s fantasized about it for years, her first shot at group sex dies an embarrassing death. Her second shot is even worse. Will the third time be the charm, or will Cam run out of chances with her gang of rowdy bikers? While she might just pull it off, it could also be the one thing that pushes Dylan away, for good.

I absolutely loved this story just as much as book 1. Brandie's cast of characters are down right sexy as hell. Cam is back and hornier then ever but her dream of a gang bang isn't what she thought it would be, the description was so amazing during this scene I felt like I was there. Dylan is sexier than ever..just as protective as ever and just as badass as ever. As the story continues Cam searches for the elusive orgasm and flirts and teases until it bites her in the ass...The story brings you up, it's flirty and sexy and brings you down with lessons learned, I love that in a story. Brandie's story was a amazingly written and Keeps you wanting more, I can't wait for book 3, I want more Cam and Dylan.

5 huge stars

From a very young age, Brandie has written stories in her head, having hundreds of hours to fill as she traveled the world with her parents. While reading took up a great deal of her time, day dreaming and creating characters with exciting tales to tell took up more. Unable to fight the inevitable, a few years ago Brandie started writing out her stories to share with others. She writes under several pen names in the romance/erotica genre.
At home in the center of the U.S., Brandie fills the role of Super Mom, raising three children on her own. Unlike their mother, her children are normal, well-functioning people. She hopes that one day, when all her stories are told, she can join them in the real world.

The latest in the Ferro Family novels from the absolutely fabulous H.M Ward has just been released!!

Stripped - is available now!

Title: STRIPPED – A Ferro Family Novel
Author: H.M. WARD
Publisher: Laree Bailey Press Release: September 2, 2013 Genre: Contemporary Romance Age Group: New Adult Event organized by: AToMR Tours

From New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling New Adult author H.M. Ward.

The V Card. Virgin. Most of us want to punch that sucker ASAP, and hide the fact until then, but not Cassie Hale. Three years ago she frickin' covered hers in glitter and laminated the thing, proudly telling me that she's waiting for the perfect guy.

So when I see her half naked, tangled together, rolling around on the floor with another stripper, I'm kind of shocked. Okay, that's an understatement. I'm enthralled. I have to know what cracked her picture perfect world and landed her here, and I hope it's something horrible-an event that broke her the way she broke me. Because, that's who Cassie Hale is--the woman who stole my heart and crushed it in her hand.

CASSIE

Jon throws me into a chair and then tosses a blanket at me. I’m barely dressed, still wearing my stripping outfit. “What the hell is wrong with you?”

“With me?” I yell and jump up from my seat. “With me? You’re seriously asking what’s wrong with me—”

“Yes, I’m asking. You’ve been acting like a goddamn lunatic since the moment I saw you!” He’s in my face, yelling down at me. My shoes are in the dressing room and my feet ache, my head aches, and my heart aches. I turn to leave. I’m not doing this right now. I can’t. But Jon grabs my arm and stops me from walking away. “Where do you think you’re going? You can’t run away every time something doesn’t go your way. You’re not a child anymore, Cass.”

“And neither are you!” I shove my palms into his chest, and then do it again, harder. “You can’t fuck every girl who works here. That makes it a whore house and I’m not a fucking whore!” I try to hit him again, but he grabs my wrists.

“No one said you were.” His voice softens. I try to pull away, but he won’t let me. His lips are dangerously close and I’m aware of his scent, of the way his breathing is becoming more ragged, even though we’ve stopped yelling. His dark lashes are lowered, his blue eyes singularly focused on my mouth. “What happened to you, Cass?”

My lips part, but no words come out. How can I say it? How can I tell him? I shake my head and refuse to look up. Jon remains close enough that I can feel his warm breath. I want to lean into him, wrap my arms around his neck, and just cry until there are no tears left.

A hot wet tear slips from the corner of my eye and rolls down my cheek. Jon’s thumb catches it and smoothes it away. “Talk to me Cass.”I make the mistake of looking up into his face. His heated gaze catches mine and I’m lost. His hand is still on my cheek and it happens so suddenly that I don’t have time to think. Jon lowers his lips to mine and kisses me softly. The taste of his mouth, the way he holds me, makes me want more. The blanket falls to the floor and I step into his arms.

All the regrets I’ve ever had come boiling to the surface. I never gave him a chance. I wrote Jon off when we were younger and I shouldn’t have. Our mouths press harder together, and his tongue slips into my mouth. I can barely breathe and I don’t care. I don’t stop to catch my breath. I kiss him harder, feeling his lips mash into mine as his hands travel down my back, tracing my bare skin. It’s hotter than any kiss I’ve ever had. Jon presses his lips to me like he’ll never get the chance to do it again. There are no words that describe the longing I’ve felt for him, and what it means to feel him like this now—his body pressed firmly to mine, our lips tangling together as our tongues intertwine.

Blog Tour: Anywhere With You by Kaylee Ryan

Welcome to our stop on the Anywhere With You blog tour.

Title: Anywhere With YouAuthor: Kaylee RyanReleased: 20 August 2013Tour hosted by Mary Elizabeth's Crazy Book Obsession

Allison Hagan has not lived the life of a normal teenager. Her parents died in a car crash when she was ten and she has been living with her elderly grandmother who happens to be her only living relative ever since. Allison became best friends with the boy next door Aiden. Aiden’s family has taken her in as part of their own, which is why when her gran insists that she live in the dorms at college so Allison chooses to attend the same school as Aiden.

Liam MacCoy is a college senior and quarterback of his college football team. Liam is rumored to be first round draft pick for the NFL following graduation as is his best friend Aiden. Liam has one focus and that’s football that is until his little sister introduces him to her roommate Allison. Since he met her he hasn't been able to think of anything else.

Liam is not a relationship kind of guy and Allison wants it all. She wants the romance and the family that she grew up without. Will Liam overcome his fear of relationships as well as the tangle of friendships to give Allison everything she wants?

“Liam, Hales is already in there asleep.  After we got your text she was wiped out, so I convinced her to go on to bed.  I had to promise that if anything changed, I would wake her up.”
Fuck!  I want Allison in my bed.  I want to take care of her.  I turn and headed back towards the living room, she can sleep on the couch and I would take the chair.
“Um, Liam, Blitzen is here, remember?” Aiden smirks.  He knows this is killing me and he’s enjoying the hell out of it.
“Fine,” I mumble as I walk into his bedroom.  I lay Allison down on the bed. As I do, she reaches for me.
“Liam.”
“Shh. You’re in Aiden’s room,” I tell her.
“Here,” Aiden says handing her a shirt of his to sleep in.
I glare at Aiden and he smirks at me, yet again.  He knows what it does to me to have her in his clothes.  He knows that I want her in my bed with me.  Asshole!
Allison starts to set up.  “Let me help you.” I lean down and place my arm around her back and gently lift her so that she is sitting on the side of the bed.
She looks up at me with a small grin, “Are you going to help me change?” My heart stops.  This beautiful amazingly sexy creature is looking at me with innocent trusting eyes asking me to help her remover her clothes for bed.  Before I can get my brain to function so that I can respond, Aiden is protesting.
“Ash, I can go get Hales, she just laid down I’m sure she wouldn’t mind helping you,” Aiden suggests.
Allison looks at Aiden like he is crazy. “Why would I wake her when Liam can help me? she says it so matter of fact like me undressing her is a normal as breathing.  My stalled heart is now thundering in my chest.  Its beating so loud, I am sure that they can both hear it.  Somehow I am able to make myself speak above the thunder inside my chest.  I cup her cheek in the palm of my hand “I can get Hales if that would make you feel more comfortable.” Please say you still want me to do it.  Hell yes, I am being selfish but my protective instincts are in overdrive when it comes to Allison.  I will always want it to be me.
"Life is a giant canvas ... and you should throw as much paint on it as you can"

Anywhere With You was simply gorgeous.  A sweet love story, without any relationship drama, deception or unnecessary angst - it tells the story of Allison and Liam, how they meet, how they fall in love and how they realise that with each other they can have everything they ever wanted.
Kaylee Ames has done a wonderful job with this story.  She has created characters that are realistic and incredibly likeable - I found myself investing in their friendships and hoping for good things for all of them.  I'll admit as I read through I kept wondering when things were going to go pear shaped for Allison and Liam - it's a formula that is fairly prevalent in romance books, the couple meet and are attracted, they struggle with coming together, they do, then something from their past or some other drama takes place and tears them apart until they find themselves coming back together again.  While I was expecting it, I was really hoping it wouldn't happen and then was so pleased that it didn't.  The fact that Anywhere With You has not only a HEA, but doesn't have relationship drama, made it stand out from many books I've read of late and I really enjoyed it as a consequence.
While the focus of the story is Allison and Liam, Hailey (Liam's sister) and Aiden (Allison's best friend) are feature characters.  And there is the promise of something developing between the two of them.  Given how much I enjoyed Anywhere With You I really hope that Ames' next book is about Hailey and Aiden.

With a more thorough edit, Anywhere With You may have just snuck into a five star rating from me - but there were a few too many errors in the version I was reading and they did distract me from the story more than once.  Despite that, it was an absolutely delightful story, with a couple of very memorable quotes - like "I love you like a fat kid loves cake" and "live a love fearless" - out of the context of the story they don't sound like much, but they are delivered just perfectly and that is what made them memorable for me.  Of course my favorite is the one I started this review with - "life is a giant canvas ... and you should throw as much paint on it as you can" - such a wonderful concept and one that I think we all should take notice of.
4 out of 5 stars

Book Blast: Good Ground by Tracy Winegar

Something a little different for you all - historical romance  Good Ground sounds like a sweet read and is free for the duration of the book blast, so why not pick up a copy?

Title: Good GroundAuthor: Tracy WinegarGenre: Historical RomancePublication Date: July 30, 2013 by Omnific PublishingBook Blast Organized By: Literati Author Services, Inc.

Jim’s faith in God is tested by the death of his cherished wife and child. His life becomes barren, and he loses hope and the ability to continue.
But God plants in his heart the seeds of a new beginning and the will to go on through an orphan child. Jim nurtures this child with the same devotion that he invests in his land. The result is a son of whom any father would be proud. Jim’s gift continues through Ellis.

Ellis in turn cares passionately for his own farm, his friends, and eventually another lost soul. When he finds Clairey in the midst of a blizzard, he rescues her from her desperate life, and she grows into a capable a strong woman under his care. Jim’s legacy comes full circle.

All things grow in love. . .

“Forster’s gonna stay for supper,” Ellis informed her.
“We ain’t got but two spoons,” she reminded him gently.                “We just gonna have to share, is all.” He went over to the wash basin, noticing that the water was  fresh. Clairey must have dumped it and refilled it for him when she had finished with it herself. “Smells real good,” he told her as he toweled off his hands.                “Ain’t much. Soup beans and bread,” she said apologetically.
He was finding it difficult to carry on a conversation, suddenly aware of a new emotion that plagued his consciousness. Clairey sat with him, as she had many times before, but this time seemed different somehow. He felt a measure of pride in her. In articulating to his friend her many qualities, Ellis had found, to his surprise, things about Clairey that he admired and liked. The act of defending her had invoked feelings of fondness he never knew he had for her. He’d never really thought about it before because there never was a need to.                She had always been nothing more than a shadow. He’d had no regard one way or another for her. She was just there, like hired help or a servant. But he began to see how significant her contributions were to him. Clairey’s skills were a reflection upon him. She had provided him with a proper home and the ability to increase his possessions. She was valuable to him.                There was more to it than Ellis was able to process through, feelings he couldn’t completely understand. He was becoming aware of her physical self as well. In all these long months, they had rarely touched. Yet there he was, sharing a spoon with her. There was something terribly intimate about it, watching the spoon glide from between her full lips, their hands grazing on another in just the hint of a touch, and then putting that same spoon between his own lips. At one point, her knee encountered his leg beneath the table in an innocent nudge, and Ellis felt a flush spread over his face, as if he had been caught doing something taboo in front of his friend, something private and surreptitious.
Seeing her now brought a rush of fragmented memories. He recalled a stolen kiss in the afternoon sun as they were returning from the well with a bucket full of water. She had sloshed water onto the front ofhis britches, making it look suspiciously as if he had wet himself. Her laughter had trailed behind her as she ran, giving him many a backward glance to see if he might pursue. He remembered the brush of her hand against his and the tingling sensation it had left on his skin. The way her touch awakened his senses and made his body feel alive was the thing he missed the most.He recalled another time with her. She had been wearing a white dress, her honey hair fanned out on the grass as they picnicked next to the creek. Dulcie Mae had lied to her mama and told her that she was visiting a sick friend. Ellis had lain next to her upon that perfectly green grass, sucking her delicate earlobe, caressing her face with his hands, delighting in the soft feminine curves of her cheeks and lips. He’d nearly been unable to concentrate on the words she whispered with a moist, pleasant tickle against his skin as she ran her fingers along his neck, through his hair.
Ellis allowed himself these memories as small indulgences before he chastened himself for letting his thoughts go too far.

“By day, a school librarian. By night, a wife and mother. But in those quiet moments that are only mine, I write…”

Born and raised on the flatlands of Central Indiana, Tracy moved to the highlands of Utah at the age of nineteen. She quickly discovered that her brand new, top-of-the-line hiking boots were a waste of good money because she was never quite able to acclimate to the altitude in the Rockies. Tracy claims to suffer from a type of disorientation she attributes to altitude sickness to this day. It seems to be a permanent affliction. Her husband Benjamin cohabitates in a home with Tracy and the four beautiful but precocious children they lovingly created together. Although to others, their home may seem alarmingly chaotic, it is an insanity of their own making.

Release Day Blitz: Breaking Through the Wall (Guarded Hearts #2) by Ashley Piscitelli

Today is release day for book two in the Guarded Hearts series by Ashley Piscitelli- Breaking Through the Wall

Jason Smith hated the whole idea of relationships and commitment. He got what he needed from girls but that’s where it ended. At least that was how it was supposed to be. After a traumatic event he gets involved with the one girl who could force him to change his ways. Will he be able to commit to her though? Or will he drive her away before he ever has the chance to have her?
Madison and Carter finally found happiness but their lives have just been turned upside down, by someone who refuses to go away. Can their relationship survive the tragedy and pain that he has caused? What if justice doesn’t always win, and the bad guys get away?

What do you do when your whole world is turned upside down? When everything comes crumbling down around you, will you have the will to fight and break down the wall?

My name is Ashley Piscitelli.
I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with my husband, two kids, and two dogs. On top of starting a writing career, I am a full-time student and a full-time mom. I love spending time with my kids, although I have to hide away with the computer from them when I am writing! I love being active and being outdoors.

I have always been passionate about writing. I wrote this book in about three months. I love reading romance books! I feel like being able to lose yourself in a book is one of the more exciting aspects. The books I love to read and write will be ones that make you feel for the characters. You should have an opinion on every character in a book whether you love them, hate them, or think they are up to something.

I have always thought that the most important critic is your reader, so I would love to hear from you. If you read the book and loved it or hated it, tell me. As long as it is in a constructive way, I will always answer and interact with you. I want my fans to be open & talk to me what they want for the characters in the story, and what they would like to see happen.

I hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Cover Reveal: Changing Tunes by Heather Gunter

We are so excited to share with you the simply gorgeous cover of Changing Tunes by Heather Gunter.

Robin Harper of Wicked by Design has just an absolutely amazing job of capturing Ashley - she's exactly as we pictured her from Love Notes and Heartstrings!

Title: Changing Tunes Author: Heather GunterGenre: NA (Romance)Scheduled for release: December 2013
Ashley Davis is over her high school ‘bitch’ label and has decided to reinvent herself. College offers a new beginning, a chance to be different. After being assaulted, she’s realized that she needs to change and college is just the place to do it. Nobody knows her and she’d like to keep it that way.
Afraid of falling into the same patterns she decides that having no friends, no life and focusing on school is the way to go. That is, until she meets Zeke Whitman who is completely different from anyone she’s ever encountered. He’s tall, dark and completely geeky hot in his glasses. He also doesn’t seem effected by her looks and ignores her completely.
Ezekiel (Zeke) Whitman is the opposite of Ashley Davis. He’s always been driven and focused when it comes to school, but when he’s forced to partner with a tall, leggy blonde with a slight attitude, he’s thrown for a loop. Ashley confuses him, seeming academically driven in one moment, then flirting the next.
Ashley will realize that sometimes Changing Tunes isn’t as easy as it sounds. Sometimes you have to keep a little of the person that you were, in order to become the person who you want to be.

Heather is a devoted mother of three gorgeous boys.  She balances spending as much time with them as possible with writing, updating her Into the Night Reviews book blog and her day job.  Her love of animals sees her home in Canton, GA bursting with numerous dogs and ferrets.
Heather campaigns passionately for anti-bullying initiatives and has a strong conviction to reduce peoples suffering at the hands of bullies.
A talented singer, who once dreamed of pursuing a career in that field, she has put that goal aside in exchange for her writing.  A self proclaimed geek, whatever spare time she has is spent curled on the couch reading and listening to music.

The Love Notes Series Synopsis:How do you cope when the people you care for hurt you the most? When the way you feel on the outside, smothers you on the inside. And when you are left to face your demons alone, will you learn that only you have the power to overcome them?
Charlie has never had it easy. Between the constant moving and the incessant fat comments and jokes from her father, her self-worth is nonexistent. Her reflection in the mirror shows her nothing but a plain Jane. Music is the only thing that keeps her sanity in check.
Charlie catches the eye of the town star quarterback, Maverick. With her curves, her brunette hair, and the voice of an angel, Maverick has never met anyone like her. Everything that is different about Charlie just makes Maverick like her more. Unfortunately, Charlie doesn’t see it herself.
Proving it to her may deem harder than he thinks, especially when tragedy strikes and tears them apart.
Now standing on her own two feet she may finally learn exactly who she is, what’s she’s capable of and how very un plain Jane she really is.
