Short Story Reading – April 26, NYC
If you find yourself anywhere near the East Village, NYCnext Tuesday (and why shouldn’t you?) then I’ll be reading a short story at a fantastic event courtesy of Honeysuckle Magazine and Heliotrope Books. See the flyer below for details.

This is the very short story that formed the basis of my second novel, of which the f...

Thrill Seekers Radio Interview
Click here tolisten to an interview I recently recorded with Alex Dolan, a fellow novelist, for his show Thrill Seekers. Highlights include why young people are terrible and how David Cameron the UK Prime Minister’s lewd act with a dead pig is importantly connected to my first novel, Black Chalk.

Finishing Lines
I’m about to lock myself away, alone, in a remote cabin in the Catskills for ten days to finish* my second novel. These are my rations.
If anyone knows George RR Martin, tell him he’s welcome to join me but he has to bring his own tinned pies.
Breakfast: Toast and Marmite
Lunch: Trail mix
Dinner: Fray Bentos Steak & Kidney pie/pasta and homemade Bolognese meat sauce
*Note to my agent: non-legally binding
